Your daily videos is def one of the highlights of my day. It doesnt matter if you build lego, are out shopping or hanging around the house with your wife and kids. I came for the lego but stayed for your personality. Please dont change your style, you are unique in the lego community. Dealing with haters is hard sometimes, but remember all the people that loves you and your channel!

I watch a lot of Ryan's stuff but often wonder where is his joy? He takes the most joy from the hunt and adding to his Star Wars collection which is great. Your joy is not so much in collecting but really shines when you are working on the city and setting up your studio and the biggest is your family. Don’t lose your joy or change to fit into the path of epic content creator. Shut out the noise and chase your joy.
The way you summed it up around the 7:40 mark is exactly how I feel. I will definitely support you in whatever decision is the best for you and your family, but I'm a huge fan of the way you run your channel. You're a 1 of 1. The only channel I watch everyday you post, without fail.

Bricksie ,sometimes at work , i have to just walk away from the toxic people, usually its the better choice , cause some people feed off reactions. A few things coming to my mind hearing you today: 1. Set aside some admin time in your day for comments only. It’s lovely to have that interaction and I’ve found it great when you’ve responded to my comments. 2. Do not look at comments in the evening. Make it a work thing, not personal life 3. If there was someone (Mrs Bricksie) who could filter the comments for you? Might be good to have someone else go through and get rid of the negatives? 4. Could you have a set response to haters, negative comments. That way it’s a simple polite copy and paste response. Your content is yours and yours alone, don’t change it to feed a few unhappy people. Yes there are days when it’s not that great or fun but that is life. You are successful and a well known name in the international LEGO community. I suffer from depression and anxiety and my life can be very chaotic with travel and things changing a lot - but one thing I’m always able to do is come back to is your channel to feel better. When I’m anxious and having a bad day I get a cup of coffee and put on your latest video. When I’m touring the country and homesick, I make sure when upload time hits wherever I am grounded with your video playing to make me feel at home again. Me and my wife watch your channel together and build together as well. Your content is just so calming and fun and watching your Lego journey is amazing. Idk about everyone else but I love seeing your process - if you built it all exactly right the first time we wouldn’t have as much to watch and enjoy. That’s all part of the Lego fun. I have several channels that I watch regularly- and I've interacted with several of those creators. I have mad respect for you and those others, for lots of reasons, talent, creativity, relatable content... and the over whelming number of comments on those videos are positive in nature, or, sometimes, critical but in a respectful way. What upsets me is that those hateful or mean comments get noticed, and then all of us get to hear about it. Why are the @sshats getting the attention? This is a public forum- guess what- unfortunately the public has a lot of do nothing armchair quarterbacks that get off on spewing negative comments. Man, you have a blessed life- concentrate on your blessings and just ignore the haters and criticism.

As a writer I completely understand the negative comments among a sea of positive being the ones that stick with you. It's human nature, I don't think there's anything wrong with you :) As for the channel, I think everyone needs to innovate and change in order to grow, and you have to accept that some people aren't going to like it. The best way I've found to introduce change is to not announce it, just make it gradual and then most of your audience won't even notice! People do not like change and will complain about it endlessly, that's human nature too. In the end it's your channel and you need to do what makes you happy or you'll lose the passion and sense of optimism and fun that keeps people coming back no matter what the content of your videos. I'm in for the long haul and will keep watching my favourite RUclips channel regardless :)
@bricksie I noticed something really nice while you were aimlessly walking around the Lego city table. Your water around the harbor sparkles like THE REAL OCEAN! I know how many thousands of pieces and time went into creating the water and it was 100% worth it! Keep it up.
I love how you share these things here, openly and honestly. You're you, so you should operate your channels as you want. Your passion and enthusiasm is what keeps bringing viewers back to you. As for the negative comments: those will always be there, because this is the internet. It's easy to just write without thinking about the actual person on the other end. Remember that for every negative there are dozens of positives. And before you respond and descend into a negative circle: what helps for me is to remember that person on the other end who typed out the comment. That makes me either change my response, or not respond at all. Sending good vibes your way. You're awesome.

I'm not gonna say don't change anything but rather just do grow naturally to what you want to add or do. We are all here because of what you've been doing but nothing wrong with growth and some new ideas to add too the formula that has worked. Also, myself always say I don't give a dam what others say about my life or what I do. They don't pay my bills.. lol but in your situation they kinda do?.. So yes I do think you still need to read and engage with your viewers and be aware but you gotta have some thick skin cause you do put your life out there for everyone to see. "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time"
When you read a negative comment there are a few steps you could try. First just allow yourself to feel, then ask yourself why the comment gets to you, is the person trying to rattle you? Are they actually engaged and interested but just blunt or snarky. If you feel you need to respond write it in notes instead and sit on it awhile. You deserve all the positive comments and you are one of the most positive youtubers I watch!

I was just checking my feed today and realised I’ve watched every single one of your videos start to finish. Like with many other comments, your videos are very much a part of my daily routine. Even my kids love to huddle around my phone and watch the latest upload! I get that it’s hard to not pay attention to the negative B.S. When I was younger I worked in a hardware store. Sometimes customers would be rude and unkind which would brother me. What can I say I'm a sensitive guy. A manager who I admire told me to kill the negativity with kindness. It is hard but I feel so much better not going down the negative road. I'm not perfect but it does work. Keep up the great videos and s shame on the viewers who are sensitive. 8-)
You need to remember that the decisions you make and act on are just part of the process of you getting the city the way you want it. I wouldn’t put to much pressure on yourself with this. The best part of building lego is just that building…so what if you end up changing it again, eventually it will end up the way you want it…all experience and character building. Your content is excellent. You have probably one of the best jobs in the world, there are going to be jealous people out there. Pay no attention, there are ways of challenging you (in a good way) to get you thinking, if the comment automatically make you feel rubbish then the way they’ve said it isn’t right and not a comment for you to spend any time worrying about. Bricksie, I love your channel and watching your videos every day has become part of my daily routine. There are many Lego RUclipsrs and they release high quality videos. Every video is focusing on one build. Something you want to do and mentioned in your previous video. But can I share with you why I prefer your channel and videos above the other channels, and why I watch your videos as they are released every day, and don't even bother about the other, heavy produced, videos? It is because with your videos I feel like I enter your studio and you take me on your journey every day. It feels personal and like I am with you on your journey as you build your Lego city. You take me on tours and share with me your ideas. It feels like I'm in your studio with you every day hanging out talking about Lego. That is what I love about your channel and what makes it so unique. I can't say what you should do, but I think having over 500,000 subscribers mean you are doing something right, and people love you for that. Don't reinvent the wheel. Stick with what you are doing because I am sure I am not the only one loving your channel, and the format of your videos. Of it were up to me, and it isn't, I wouldn't change anything about your channel. And if I can ad one more thing. I prefer not having one video showing how you built the zoo. I prefer how you are doing it now. Going into the studio, and simply start building. Even if it takes your 50 videos to complete the zoo, I love it. It is real! And I am new to lego, so I learn a lot more with your videos watching 50 videos and see how you make decisions, change them when they don't work, etc. Keep up the great work. Don’t worry about the negative comments. Haters hate because they are jealous or don’t have anything good or positive in their lives. Always remember that you have a beautiful family and great fanbase that loves your content. Your joy of family and of Lego inspires way more people than you realize.

No one can tell you how to feel. As an artist, toxic feedback has a way of worming its way into your brain. Despite a mountain of positive stuff, from ideas to general adulation… it’s that one negative comment. And that comment *wants* your attention. It needs it. Ignore it. Let it die. Acknowledge the intrusive thought and move on. There are lots of things that I would do differently than you creatively. But that doesn’t matter. I love watching your content. And you’re a happy, well-adjusted dad who likes to create stuff. You’re a wholesome dude. Just find some mental way to ignore the noise. However you can.

If I’m honest I’ve not enjoyed watching the videos when you are addressing negative comments / suggestions and it becomes a bit of a moan fest on your part. In a public space you will always get people leaving negative comments whether it’s through jealously or genuinely trying to help. It was good to hear you talk about this in the 1st part of this video, try not to get down and stay true to yourself. I enjoy the vlogs, reviews and Lego City building. Thanks for the videos

Just wanted to let you know that I look forward to every upload and watch most of your stuff on my daily walks when I take my break from work. I built my son a 16 plate lego table for our lego "mushroom kingdom" and watching you has helped us organize our spare parts in a few alex drawer units, and now it's so much fun to build with my kids because of it. Hi, Jordan. I'm about halfway through your video but I wanted to leave you a few of my own thoughts. I have attempted watching other LEGO channels after discovering yours because I thought I really liked LEGO so it wouldn't matter who presented the information to me. I can honestly tell you that within one or two videos from those channels, I knew that I wouldn't be watching them any longer. They simply weren't you. I watch your two channels because of you and Mrs. Bricksie. You're entertaining and informative, and you make me care about the LEGO world. I don't collect LEGO, nor do I build it any longer. Watching you reignited my interest in LEGO but it's because of how you present your City, your family, and your ever-growing love of this product. I don't want overly produced videos or people coming across as if they know everything there ever is to know about LEGO while I am just some random viewer that could never hope to reach their level. Nah, I'm not about all that. I want to watch someone who not only engages with me, but they make my viewing time fun. You do that. You make me look forward to spending my time with you. In all honesty, I could watch longer videos of yours simply because of your personality. I found you many, many moons ago when you were still living in your old house, with your City built on top of your old pool table. You had shelves going around your room and some tables next to the pool table. I used to watch you walk around that much smaller City in the same way that you pace around your current one. I loved seeing your pets interact with you or watching you and Mrs. Bricksie work on a project together. When you moved to your new house, I was excited along with you as we watched the basement being painted and converted to the newest layout for your City. I remember the different iterations of your City while you were there, the named bricks being mailed to you, the creation of the Bricksie sign, and watching you build your MOCs or the different buildings around your City. I happily gave up my time to become invested in you, your family, your channels, and of course, the way you presented LEGO to us. The common denominator to all of that is you. Without you, this channel would simply be another LEGO channel. You are the reason so many people subscribed and watched you grow from 50,000 subscribers to where you are now. I know it is hard to distance yourself from the negative commentators. It's only natural to want to read the comments, learn from them, and then continue to grow your channel and City. It's fine to read them but then let those people move out of your head. You created your channels, grew them to where they are today, and continue to expand your City all on your own. These channels have YOUR name on them, not theirs. While change is always good for growth, never forget what made you successful. The majority of your fans love you just the way you are. The daily uploads, hearing you talk about the changes you're going to make, or even listening to you while you build a new piece of your City. I, for one, love hearing the details of what made you make certain choices over others. I learn so much from you and Mrs. Bricksie. I love to watch you building new areas or pieces of your City. It's all part of your charisma and educational teachings. Changing those things will subtract from the very traits that drew people to Bricksie and Bricksie Talks. You do a phenomenal job presenting your projects, your family, and your LEGO. Please don't change your trajectory too much because of the negative comments a few trolls are leaving you. Instead, focus on the positive feedback you have received from the people who genuinely love you, your family, your City, and your future aspirations. So many people have been with you since the beginning of your journey here on RUclips. I know I wrote a lot. For that, I am sorry. I hope, that in some way, I have helped ease your concerns over the negative commentary left behind by a few people. You really are appreciated just the way you are. It would be so cool to see you making like mini duplo citys with your toddlers! As a mum of a 4 I find it hard to balance my love for building lego (alone) and getting the kids involved, would love some encouragement!
As you said this is a business so I think changes are necessary to maintain viewership over a long period of time. While it’s nice that people want to see you make content daily (me included) some people are not going to be watching the channel in 5 years. I think the changes you have proposed are a great step towards generating a new audience and expanding the channel in a great way. Love the content Jordan, keep it coming!!!

You should consider all the likes 👍 as a positive comment. Don't let 90% of your day be taken up with the 2% of comments that are negative. Focus on the positive, stay positive, you enjoy what your doing keep on doing it.

Just remember, people who post negative, meaning mean, comments are sad people who are missing something in their life. If you're happy, have a good family, take care of your health, and be in control of your life versus being at the mercy of others, then you have no reason to be mean. So, F negative people. Hey Bricksie, I think your reflection in this video is good. You have a great structure of your videos and I love watching it daily in the morning. I think it is always wise to look for improvements, however changing your type of content is not the way to do it, I think . If I could change something to improve your channel it would be for example some of your thumbnails on the main channel. I think LEGO city videos should have more POV type of thumbnails, that really attracts to watch it. However your thumbnails on this channel are great! Thanks for everything!

Hey man, I'm also a "RUclipsr" but for music. What I learned from those negative comments I get, just think about it: In real life, when people recognize you, did anyone ever say something bad to your face? I've never had it! They are always so positive and see you as their friend, even though you don't even know they exist lol. So take everything with a grian of salt, always! Also just do whatever you want to do with the videos, most people will always have your back and will be there for whatever you do, just because they like you and the content. Another guy I follow, filters his comments by channel members whenever he's not in a mood to deal with negativity
Take all comments as a positive, yes even the bad ones, people that comment positive and constructive remarks are the ones to listen to and take inspiration from and the ones that have negative opinions, read them, see if there is anything constructive you can take from the comment/thought and if not, then appreciate that someone’s watched your channel and it isn’t for them and move forward. Unfortunately you can’t/wont please everyone in life and as this is in essence your personal Lego journey, it’s not going to be for everyone to enjoy or appreciate. Don’t keep apologising as you’ve done nothing wrong - it’s YOUR Lego city! 👍🏼

Obviously editing can take up a whole evening, for trailing the polished videos you could add your weekly content into a single video. then people could have the choice to watch you daily or just the weekly video that shows everything condensed without as much talk, so you can see how they do compared to your daily vids at same time. (I have no idea how much work that will take ) :) Love the channel. I guess the only way to screen comments is have some go through them for you and highlight the good ideas or constructive criticism comments.
Hey Bricksie, your consistency is one of the top reasons I love your channel. The daily uploads start my day off (midnight here in Melbourne Australia). In terms of the negative comments: are the comments valid? If not, ignore them. Looking forward to seeing the progress of your space.
The best you can do is do you and be you....every channel is different. I wouldn't ever compare your content to any of the other youtubers I watch, even the one or two suggestion I offer is only about perspective. The way I feel it's your town hall a good time.

You chose to share your Lego with a public audience to help fund your growth. So people will comment. Most comments are constructive help from fans that want to be part of the community. You are entitled to choose to take or ignore suggestions. However you need to do so gracefully. People don't always like change so may be negative towards changes, however over time changes become the new normal.
Your daily videos is def one of the highlights of my day. It doesnt matter if you build lego, are out shopping or hanging around the house with your wife and kids. I came for the lego but stayed for your personality. Please dont change your style, you are unique in the lego community. I watch a lot of Ryan's stuff but often wonder where is his joy? He takes the most joy from the hunt and adding to his Star Wars collection which is great. Your joy is not so much in collecting but really shines when you are working on the city and setting up your studio and the biggest is your family. Don’t lose your joy or change to fit into the path of epic content creator. Shut out the noise and chase your joy.

A few things coming to my mind hearing you today:
1. Set aside some admin time in your day for comments only. It’s lovely to have that interaction and I’ve found it great when you’ve responded to my comments.
2. Do not look at comments in the evening. Make it a work thing, not personal life
3. If there was someone (Mrs Bricksie) who could filter the comments for you? Might be good to have someone else go through and get rid of the negatives?
4. Could you have a set response to haters, negative comments. That way it’s a simple polite copy and paste response.
Your content is yours and yours alone, don’t change it to feed a few unhappy people. Yes there are days when it’s not that great or fun but that is life. You are successful and a well known name in the international LEGO community. That’s come from your content being unique, entertaining and people come back for more!

When I’m touring the country and homesick, I make sure when upload time hits wherever I am grounded with your video playing to make me feel at home again. Me and my wife watch your channel together and build together as well. Your content is just so calming and fun and watching your Lego journey is amazing. Idk about everyone else but I love seeing your process - if you built it all exactly right the first time we wouldn’t have as much to watch and enjoy. That’s all part of the Lego fun. I have several channels that I watch regularly- and I've interacted with several of those creators. I have mad respect for you and those others, for lots of reasons, talent, creativity, relatable content... and the over whelming number of comments on those videos are positive in nature, or, sometimes, critical but in a respectful way. What upsets me is that those hateful or mean comments get noticed, and then all of us get to hear about it. Why are the @sshats getting the attention? This is a public forum- guess what- unfortunately the public has a lot of do nothing armchair quarterbacks that get off on spewing negative comments. Man, you have a blessed life- concentrate on your blessings and just ignore the haters and criticism.

As a writer I completely understand the negative comments among a sea of positive being the ones that stick with you. It's human nature, I don't think there's anything wrong with you :) As for the channel, I think everyone needs to innovate and change in order to grow, and you have to accept that some people aren't going to like it. The best way I've found to introduce change is to not announce it, just make it gradual and then most of your audience won't even notice! People do not like change and will complain about it endlessly, that's human nature too. In the end it's your channel and you need to do what makes you happy or you'll lose the passion and sense of optimism and fun that keeps people coming back no matter what the content of your videos. I'm in for the long haul and will keep watching my favourite RUclips channel regardless :)
@bricksie I noticed something really nice while you were aimlessly walking around the Lego city table. Your water around the harbor sparkles like THE REAL OCEAN! I know how many thousands of pieces and time went into creating the water and it was 100% worth it! Keep it up.
I love how you share these things here, openly and honestly. You're you, so you should operate your channels as you want. Your passion and enthusiasm is what keeps bringing viewers back to you. As for the negative comments: those will always be there, because this is the internet. It's easy to just write without thinking about the actual person on the other end. Remember that for every negative there are dozens of positives. And before you respond and descend into a negative circle: what helps for me is to remember that person on the other end who typed out the comment. I'm not gonna say don't change anything but rather just do grow naturally to what you want to add or do. We are all here because of what you've been doing but nothing wrong with growth and some new ideas to add too the formula that has worked.
Also, myself always say I don't give a dam what others say about my life or what I do. They don't pay my bills.. lol but in your situation they kinda do?.. So yes I do think you still need to read and engage with your viewers and be aware but you gotta have some thick skin cause you do put your life out there for everyone to see.

When you read a negative comment there are a few steps you could try. First just allow yourself to feel, then ask yourself why the comment gets to you, is the person trying to rattle you? Are they actually engaged and interested but just blunt or snarky. If you feel you need to respond write it in notes instead and sit on it awhile. You deserve all the positive comments and you are one of the most positive youtubers I watch!

When I was younger I worked in a hardware store. Sometimes customers would be rude and unkind which would brother me. What can I say I'm a sensitive guy. A manager who I admire told me to kill the negativity with kindness. It is hard but I feel so much better not going down the negative road. I'm not perfect but it does work. You need to remember that the decisions you make and act on are just part of the process of you getting the city the way you want it. I wouldn’t put to much pressure on yourself with this. The best part of building lego is just that building…so what if you end up changing it again, eventually it will end up the way you want it…all experience and character building.
Your content is excellent. You have probably one of the best jobs in the world, there are going to be jealous people out there. Bricksie, I love your channel and watching your videos every day has become part of my daily routine. There are many Lego RUclipsrs and they release high quality videos. Every video is focusing on one build. Something you want to do and mentioned in your previous video. But can I share with you why I prefer your channel and videos above the other channels, and why I watch your videos as they are released every day, and don't even bother about the other, heavy produced, videos? It is because with your videos I feel like I enter your studio and you take me on your journey every day. It feels personal and like I am with you on your journey as you build your Lego city. You take me on tours and share with me your ideas. It feels like I'm in your studio with you every day hanging out talking about Lego. That is what I love about your channel and what makes it so unique. I can't say what you should do, but I think having over 500,000 subscribers mean you are doing something right, and people love you for that. Don't reinvent the wheel. Stick with what you are doing because I am sure I am not the only one loving your channel, and the format of your videos. Of it were up to me, and it isn't, I wouldn't change anything about your channel. And if I can ad one more thing. I prefer not having one video showing how you built the zoo. I prefer how you are doing it now. Going into the studio, and simply start building. Even if it takes your 50 videos to complete the zoo, I love it. It is real! And I am new to lego, so I learn a lot more with your videos watching 50 videos and see how you make decisions, change them when they don't work, etc. Keep up the great work. No one can tell you how to feel. As an artist, toxic feedback has a way of worming its way into your brain. Despite a mountain of positive stuff, from ideas to general adulation… it’s that one negative comment. And that comment *wants* your attention. It needs it. Ignore it. Let it die. Acknowledge the intrusive thought and move on.
There are lots of things that I would do differently than you creatively. But that doesn’t matter. I love watching your content. And you’re a happy, well-adjusted dad who likes to create stuff. You’re a wholesome dude. Just find some mental way to ignore the noise. However you can.

I look forward to your videos everyday. I can't imagine how hard it is to stream and not react to those that attack you or make hurtful comments. You're human and you have a heart. It is only expected that you get upset about hurtful comments. You have a heart. ❤ It's obvious. Remind yourself that those who troll and are mean are only lashing out because you are doing something they wish they could do. Jealousy creates people that want others to feel as bad as they do.
Be yourself, do what you do, it's how you got here. Listen to all, take the best ideas, ignore the rest
If I’m honest I’ve not enjoyed watching the videos when you are addressing negative comments / suggestions and it becomes a bit of a moan fest on your part. In a public space you will always get people leaving negative comments whether it’s through jealously or genuinely trying to help. It was good to hear you talk about this in the 1st part of this video, try not to get down and stay true to yourself. I enjoy the vlogs, reviews and Lego City building. Thanks for the videos
My eight year old boy asks to watch you everyday. We love what you do, and he has started to try and emulate you by making a city of his own. Keep doing what you! Also, he thinks you need to add a soccer pitch!

Hey, sorry I was a little rough with my critique of the monkey cage, you did reply to me but just with a sarcastic "thanks" lol. I get it though, it must get frustrating when reading some stuff. Just wanted to let you know that I look forward to every upload and watch most of your stuff on my daily walks when I take my break from work. I built my son a 16 plate lego table for our lego "mushroom kingdom" and watching you has helped us organize our spare parts in a few alex drawer units, and now it's so much fun to build with my kids because of it. Also they both love your city.

Hi, Jordan. I'm about halfway through your video but I wanted to leave you a few of my own thoughts. I have attempted watching other LEGO channels after discovering yours because I thought I really liked LEGO so it wouldn't matter who presented the information to me. I can honestly tell you that within one or two videos from those channels, I knew that I wouldn't be watching them any longer. They simply weren't you. I watch your two channels because of you and Mrs. Bricksie. You're entertaining and informative, and you make me care about the LEGO world. I don't collect LEGO, nor do I build it any longer. Watching you reignited my interest in LEGO but it's because of how you present your City, your family, and your ever-growing love of this product. I don't want overly produced videos or people coming across as if they know everything there ever is to know about LEGO while I am just some random viewer that could never hope to reach their level. Nah, I'm not about all that. I want to watch someone who not only engages with me, but they make my viewing time fun. You do that. You make me look forward to spending my time with you. In all honesty, I could watch longer videos of yours simply because of your personality.
I found you many, many moons ago when you were still living in your old house, with your City built on top of your old pool table. You had shelves going around your room and some tables next to the pool table. I used to watch you walk around that much smaller City in the same way that you pace around your current one. I loved seeing your pets interact with you or watching you and Mrs. Bricksie work on a project together. When you moved to your new house, I was excited along with you as we watched the basement being painted and converted to the newest layout for your City. I remember the different iterations of your City while you were there, the named bricks being mailed to you, the creation of the Bricksie sign, and watching you build your MOCs or the different buildings around your City. I happily gave up my time to become invested in you, your family, your channels, and of course, the way you presented LEGO to us. The common denominator to all of that is you. Without you, this channel would simply be another LEGO channel. You are the reason so many people subscribed and watched you grow from 50,000 subscribers to where you are now.
I know it is hard to distance yourself from the negative commentators. It's only natural to want to read the comments, learn from them, and then continue to grow your channel and City. It's fine to read them but then let those people move out of your head. You created your channels, grew them to where they are today, and continue to expand your City all on your own. These channels have YOUR name on them, not theirs. While change is always good for growth, never forget what made you successful. The majority of your fans love you just the way you are. The daily uploads, hearing you talk about the changes you're going to make, or even listening to you while you build a new piece of your City. I, for one, love hearing the details of what made you make certain choices over others. I learn so much from you and Mrs. Bricksie. I love to watch you building new areas or pieces of your City. It's all part of your charisma and educational teachings. Changing those things will subtract from the very traits that drew people to Bricksie and Bricksie Talks. You do a phenomenal job presenting your projects, your family, and your LEGO. Please don't change your trajectory too much because of the negative comments a few trolls are leaving you. Instead, focus on the positive feedback you have received from the people who genuinely love you, your family, your City, and your future aspirations. So many people have been with you since the beginning of your journey here on RUclips.
I know I wrote a lot. For that, I am sorry. I hope, that in some way, I have helped ease your concerns over the negative commentary left behind by a few people. As you said this is a business so I think changes are necessary to maintain viewership over a long period of time. While it’s nice that people want to see you make content daily (me included) some people are not going to be watching the channel in 5 years. I think the changes you have proposed are a great step towards generating a new audience and expanding the channel in a great way. Love the content Jordan, keep it coming!!!

You should consider all the likes 👍 as a positive comment. Don't let 90% of your day be taken up with the 2% of comments that are negative. Focus on the positive, stay positive, you enjoy what your doing keep on doing it.
You are a great guy and by all means keep doing what you love. If I may give you a piece of advice, it is a struggle to change your bad habits, don't fight that battle on your own, seek professional help, there is nothing wrong with that. ❤
While I do not agree with every creative decision you make, I love watching your videos. I also appreciate how you take suggestions like lessening the train grade. Keep it up and don’t let the haters hate!
Just remember, people who post negative, meaning mean, comments are sad people who are missing something in their life. If you're happy, have a good family, take care of your health, and be in control of your life versus being at the mercy of others, then you have no reason to be mean. So, F negative people. Constructive criticism or just ideas, great, but just being mean and negative, those people are sad, pathetic key board warriors.
Hey Bricksie, I think your reflection in this video is good. You have a great structure of your videos and I love watching it daily in the morning. I think it is always wise to look for improvements, however changing your type of content is not the way to do it, I think . If I could change something to improve your channel it would be for example some of your thumbnails on the main channel. I think LEGO city videos should have more POV type of thumbnails, that really attracts to watch it. However your thumbnails on this channel are great! Thanks for everything!
If someone leaves a negative annoying comment = so what?!!! Put it out your head, ignore it, don't waste your precious life thinking about it, and don't react. 99% of us are on your side.
Hey man, I'm also a "RUclipsr" but for music. What I learned from those negative comments I get, just think about it: In real life, when people recognize you, did anyone ever say something bad to your face? I've never had it! They are always so positive and see you as their friend, even though you don't even know they exist lol. So take everything with a grian of salt, always!
Also just do whatever you want to do with the videos, most people will always have your back and will be there for whatever you do, just because they like you and the content.
Another guy I follow, filters his comments by channel members whenever he's not in a mood to deal with negativity
Take all comments as a positive, yes even the bad ones, people that comment positive and constructive remarks are the ones to listen to and take inspiration from and the ones that have negative opinions, read them, see if there is anything constructive you can take from the comment/thought and if not, then appreciate that someone’s watched your channel and it isn’t for them and move forward. Unfortunately you can’t/wont please everyone in life and as this is in essence your personal Lego journey, it’s not going to be for everyone to enjoy or appreciate.
Don’t keep apologising as you’ve done nothing wrong - it’s YOUR Lego city! 👍🏼

Obviously editing can take up a whole evening, for trailing the polished videos you could add your weekly content into a single video. then people could have the choice to watch you daily or just the weekly video that shows everything condensed without as much talk, so you can see how they do compared to your daily vids at same time. (I have no idea how much work that will take ) :)

I guess the only way to screen comments is have some go through them for you and highlight the good ideas or constructive criticism comments.
Hey Bricksie, your consistency is one of the top reasons I love your channel. The daily uploads start my day off (midnight here in Melbourne Australia). In terms of the negative comments: are the comments valid? If not, ignore them. Looking forward to seeing the progress of your space.
I follow a ton of accounts, but yours is the only one I watch daily.
The best you can do is do you and be you....every channel is different. I wouldn't ever compare your content to any of the other youtubers I watch, even the one or two suggestion I offer is only about perspective. The way I feel it's your town hall a good time.
I look forward to watching your videos every morning and now my 6 year old son wants me to wait to watch your videos with him. I love your style. Keep it up, but if you are interested in trying something different I love that and you should totally try new things when you want to.
You chose to share your Lego with a public audience to help fund your growth. So people will comment. Most comments are constructive help from fans that want to be part of the community. You are entitled to choose to take or ignore suggestions. However you need to do so gracefully. People don't always like change so may be negative towards changes, however over time changes become the new normal.
