"You can't possibly do everything in one Disney Trip" Watch me fkn TRY DFB. That's why I'm bingeing and researching your videos. I need to be prepared. You're right, not everything at Disney, but EVERYTHING THAT I NEED will be done. Thank you DFB.
we just did 4 day vacation trip and no you won't do it all in one day. we did more than we expected. some of the rides based on where you sit have different experience too....
I use Touring Plans from… I think it’s called Unofficial Guide. I’ve been using them since 2012. They are wonderful, especially if you’re in a big group. When someone wants to ride a specific ride next, I can say, “We’re riding that after...” we always fit way more adventure into our day using the touring plans. It’s wonderful!
The last time we went, I made it a goal to use the app to compliment the cast members. Many of them go so far above and beyond that its worth taking 20 seconds to recognize them.
I love DFB videos so much, man. Whenever things were rough at home when I was younger, I would binge watch DFB videos and plan fake Disney World trips down to the letter. I learned all the tips and tricks because DFB videos are so engaging and friendly and fun. Now I’m a full grown adult and I’m about to finally go on that trip. Thank you, DFB!
Write down your contact person and their phone number and take a picture of it and save it as your lock screen on your phone. That way if someone finds your phone and they hit your lock screen, they will call the person you are with and you can meet up to get your phone back. If you find a phone that is not locked, have the phone call mom or dad. It has worked for us in the past
I did this with my phone. I added that a reward would be given. I left it on top of my car and it fell off on my way to work (not ar Disney) and someon called the number and I got it back.
I wish the disney app would take a cue from universal's app and allow you to set an alert when a ride falls to a desirable wait time. Also it would be nice to pin your favorite attractions to a favorite list at any time and not just the day of your visit.
I also wish it wouldn’t drain my phones battery unlike the Universal app. I actually did a trip to both last year and the first day at EPCOT, I left the park with just barely 10% battery. Next day was Islands and I left with 75% by park close
@@mertcanhacfazloglu4862 my fam always does but I know it’s always bothered me personally. Especially if I were to go solo. I can go to Universal just fine and not have to be on my phone all day while conserving much of the battery, whereas Disney 💀
Actually, a good idea to have backup food would be to pick up some cold grab & go items at the hotel lobby/food court area when you go back to your hotel for your mid day rest. Stash them in the mini-fridge for back up night eats.
Thank you, thank you, for mentioning phone use during dark rides. I have the same problem in dark theaters - having my experience degraded by glowing phones near me - but also the idea that, in the group experience of a ride, not everyone is fully engaged in the same experience.
@@dfbbreea 20 years ago i was attending movies at an independent cinema in Albany, NY. Because of the nature of my job, i could go in early to mid afternoon weekdays. It was terrific. There would be very few others in the theater, cellphones were not such a thing, and you could really immerse yourself in the movie. I want to go see “Inside Out 2”, but i know it would be crazy - i’ll wait for this initial rush to die down.
@@rrrryno i liked to go to the Spectrum 8, now Landmark Theaters. Twenty years ago they showed wonderful foreign and independent films you couldn’t see anywhere else except outside of NYC, probably. I went to Regal Cinemas in Crossgates Mall if i wanted to see a blockbuster on a big screen.
After going to Disney a few times, I felt like I was starting to enter a rut. So my last trip, besides going on rides, I made a bucket list of things I never did before and try to experience new things. I actually never realized how much fun Feathered Friends in Flight was, and I had alcohol in the park for the first time and went on a ride under the influence. It really hit different 🍻
16:25 this happened to us as well at Storytellers Cafe in Disneyland… we were there 90min and hadn’t seen any characters other than the song and dance they do throughout the restaurant. We mentioned it and within 10min they all came to see us. Of course we were kind and patient but my nephew (who was 2.5 at the time) was growing impatient and getting antsy. I wish we had spoken up a tad bit earlier but that’s okay! We know that they are busy and the characters need breaks.
I went in May and not planning on going again but i still love watching DFB! When i went i couldnt believe Rabbit was out at the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet in the Uk at epcot. It was the best. Also Breea is the best DFB member.
On my January trip, I made sure to visit Guest Relations umbrellas at least twice per day to give detailed thanks to Cast Members. The app does not allow me to express my satisfaction adequately. The terrific waitress at Via Napoli who pixie dusted me an individual pizza? The wonderful clerk in the Germany Christmas ornament shop who gave me a bag of caramel corn? Manny, my waiter at Crystal Palace, who prepared a plate for me with the buffet offerings i was able to eat? The meticulous and fabulous allergy chefs at the MK fireworks parties, and at Biergarten? And on and on. Karma does work. I think they also appreciated that i was an older lady traveling solo with numerous physical issues. There is no place like Disney World.
Another good idea is to go to the camping section of Walmart or Target and buy some PLASTIC cutlery. The stuff in the camping section will be lightweight, stowable and more durable than the plastic forks they give you at the food stands and quick-stop locations. And if they forget to give you one at a food vendor, you'll have them. Just wash them when you wash your hands.

Don't get the fuel rods, unless you absolutely have to. The fuel rods are a complete rip-off even if you order them online. You can buy a regular charger that will give you like 10x the amount of charge for the same price as a fuel rod.
Another item that will trip you up at security: eye glasses case. Never heard any mention of this, but at least at the Epcot Skyliner entrance it’s true
For me, within the "Wearing hats and glasses" point, I bought a strap from Walmart that I use when I visit any theme park that secures my glasses to my face when I get on a roller coaster. Plus, my glasses have transition lenses that switch between sunglasses and regular eyeglasses.
The ear hats!! Idk what they’re officially called, but I def have ✨sEnsOrY iSsuEs✨ and cannot wear headbands 😭 They’re all so cute but I got a cute Minnie ears hat and it covered my face from the burning sun too!
Lord have mercy. I am just three "don'ts" in, and a visit there seems like an app/time management nightmare. How can all of this be fun when you're constantly booking things on an app and then constantly having to check on the times? The LAST thing I want to do on a vacation is stick my face in a smartphone all day long and adhere to a bunch of deadlines. How do people's phones even hold the battery charge all day long to do this? I'm clearly cut from wildly different cloth. These videos have done their job, though, and that's in helping me steer clear of a confusing mess. God bless you if you find this fun. Clearly, people do though. Look at those crowds.
To be completely honest, the only thing you really need the app for is virtual queues if you want to try any of the new attractions. Last time I went, that's the only thing I used my phone for besides navigation and I was able to manage just fine. I'm part of a family of 4, and we were able to complete everything we wanted to do in the parks.
It wasn't always that way. It used to be much simpler. They've made it very complicated for your convenience. On my last trip in 2020, I tried to order food from my phone at a quick service because it would allow me to skip the line for my convenience. Well, 20 minutes and 3 cast members later, someone else had to order my food for me on my phone. This happened three times. I eventually just started standing in line to order like it was still 2010. Their technology has left me behind.
I went to Disney Land for the first time in 2022. The only time I took out my phone was to look at the map. I had bought food from a Target nearby, so I had food at my hotel room so I never had to worry about ordering food on site. I also went in January on a weekday when it was raining, so the lines were pretty short so I never had to check wait times. The only people who plan everything to the minute detail and have their phone in their face are usually high strung parents or people with a compulsive need to plan. If you're not those people, you'll be fine with your phone staying in your pocket 99% of the time.
I have Ear Savers which I attach to my backpack. If I am wearing my wide brimmed hat (must protect against the sun), or giving my head a rest… I can still ‘wear’ my ears by clipping them to my bag.
I sat in crystal palace for over an hour too. It depends where they were in the restaurant they were on the other side. I did end up missing pooh somehow. But my server made sure i got to see the others
I've found that nail polish lasts longer than sharpie - usually. so if you brought that on the trip - I would use sharpie at disney because I won't bring nailpolish on vacation but before the cups go with my kid to camp weekends it gets initials in nailpolish, it's still readable on the plastic cups 5 years later and on my metal messkit from when I nailpolished my name in the metal when I was 8!
Random callout, but the 'don't wear white at a theme park' is so true. I recently wore a white skirt to Hershey park because it had built in shorts but by the end of the day I was very multi-colored.

The water level being too high is also a concern for the Sassagoula boats. If too much rain falls in a short amount of time, the water level will rise to where the boats can’t pass under the bridges.
About differentiating the cups, before you even mentioned wine charms I was thinking stickers or tying ribbons or…well use you imagination and go nuts!
Thank you, DFB Team! Thank you for cueing us into the baked mac and cheese at Eight Spoon Cafe. I will have to do all quick service snacks on my trip next year (no more big sit-down meals allowed for me!) I SO much appreciate your ideas about snacks!

The best water is at Starbucks, and yes still free. You don't even have to wait in line, just walk up to the pickup window and ask for a large cup of water 😉
I remember back when Test Track was open. It was still breaking down a lot. I was there 1 day in line? It broke down while in line. They thought it'd be up in a certain time. It was not, they gave rain checks out for later I did not get to use it and I lost it and have never returned for that ride. Have not been back since and I believe it has been redesigned at least twice
Just got back from Disney World and had a great time there. However, this is one mistake that won`t be on your list. And it is do not try to do too many park hopping's in the day. One of our days had at least 3 hopping`s not including dinner in Disney springs. Each time you hop a park it can take about an hour to arrive in the other park. And if there is no direct connection to Disney Springs anymore, that took us 2 hours to finally get there so we can have dinner. We spent more time hopping to other parks than actually doing the rides itself.
Most important tip: Don't go between March and October. March because spring break and it's super crowded. April through October because it's way too hot and humid to be walking around outside for 12 hours. November, late January (to avoid the Christmas break crowds) and February are the months to go.
I learned the white clothes rule the hard way. I have no idea how, because I had ZERO orange food and constantly checked while I ate and drank to make sure I didn’t spill, but SOMEHOW my nice white tank top with cute beads and yadda yadda ended up stained orange in a lot of spots after I wore it to EPCOT in May. 🤦🏽♀️
My daughter left her fanny pack in a bathroom. It was mailed back to her about a week after we got home. This was about 25 years ago but still a sweet memory.

I am so disappointed that they moved the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival dates! We are booked for Aug 20-25, and we picked those dates a year ago to ensure we were there for the event. This is my nephew's grad trip; we have talked about it for 3+ years.
Ice , I just want ice . I guess I’m not the normal person. I have to have a whole cup of ice to enjoy my drink. I’ll bring my drink but I want ice while I’m in the parks. I know it’s weird but I will go without drinking anything if it doesn’t have ice , even if it’s cold. To me cold is room temperature, ice makes it colder, but that’s just my Autism thing.
“Don’t feed the birds” Hahaha last summer a bird literally flew up to our table and took a chicken tender off of my son’s plate and flew away with it 😂 Not kidding about them being aggressive!
It hasn't been running for quite awhile. We're not sure if maybe it just wasn't attracting enough crowds to have two boats running across the lagoon. The loading areas still exist so maybe we'll see it again in the future
For a 2 week visit, do you have to book LL multi/single? Or just buy it one or two days and the other 12 days you can strawl around en look where you dont have to wait for hours? This year we went to Universal , had a 14 day pass for just 360 dollar... We couldnt stay the whole period, but we definitely didnt miss the expresspas
ngl some of these seem more like minor inconveniences than something that would actually ruin your vacation, or simple mistakes that can be done even at a county fair or smth (mixing up cups or wearing loose items on rides for example). if i ever somehow get to disney, i probs would shrug some of this stuff off. sorta dumb mistakes are easy to deal with if you arent super uptight and over thinking every little detail, which already ruins the trip.
i see it at Starbucks all the time. DONT get the wrong one, or take to long to get your food. It should be a life lesson, not just a Disney lesson. OH MY GOSH I HATE LOSING MY PHONE! its the worst feeling in the whole world. one time at a convention; I didn't decide to go to the last place i had it (of course) I looked everywhere else, and i had a panic attack. I even went to our (convention) lost and found. Guess where it was! It was at the last booth I was! They even texted the last person I texted (how nice of them...weird, but nice) It was a long convention day, and needless to say, I broke down and cried happy tears. (as i said, it was a long day)
Mobile order is useless when there isn't an immediate-ish time available. Seriously, if they want to push people to mobile order, make that a benefit. Most people still won't use it and they'll stand in line anyway.
I’m not saying you did it on purpose… but we dog the rideshare guy for saying Disney transportation is 24/7… and then we turn around and talk about the best water stations in the park. You have to mention how MK water is swamp water. Those stations are awful. Epcot. Connections eatery. Walk up to the drink machine and use that glorious H2O! Same thing at HS with ABC Commissary and Backlot Express. If water is tasting extra swampy, and you’re a water snob, bring your own Dasani/bottled water, hit up a Starbucks, or bite the bullet and buy bottled water
We've seen it at a few hotels in the past, but it definitely rotates. When you check-in you can ask at the front desk or keep an eye out for activity boards around the hotel that will tell you what is available that week
You can totally hold up to two Individual Lightning Lanes per day, but remember - Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does NOT have an ILL. You can grab a Lightning Lane for it with a regular Genie+ purchase!
I don’t see how anyone can afford a Disney vacation. 33 year school teacher. All taxes paid. Small house. Never had a new car. Financially smart. I don’t know how people do it. Have fun, but what a waste of resources.
Thank you for saying Not to feed them. I heard a report on how many had to be euthanized because they were sick! They can not should not be eating people food! Now if they fly down and grab out of your hand that's not the same I'm talking intentionally feeding them. I yelled at some adults about it then they gave me dirty looks! It's not funny! You're literally killing them!
Am I the only one who has had terrible luck with Fuel Rods? Not only have I gotten "charged" ones that didn't charge my phone, I've tried recharging them and had the same result. I bring my own chargers with cables now. $30+ down the drain.

I did a solo trip in December, and had the time of my life! I did what I wanted to do, and didn't have to ask what anyone else wanted to do.
LOVE your videos, we watch your channel as if its the only news, and never watch real life news because its too much of a downer all the time! 91 days until we come back for 3 WEEKS! Your videos have been so GOOD! I am a super planner and have books of notes and pages laminated for each park :)
You sound SUPER ready! Proud of YOU!!
They're channel is amazingly helpful!!
My trip coming up in a few weeks been learning a lot to prepare me for
Great to hear!!!
If you're ever interested I actually provide a service booking my clients Genie Plus for them each day and completely eliminating that stress for them. Booking through me costs nothing extra & supports a small business 🇺🇸
The best water is at Starbucks, and yes still free. You don't even have to wait in line, just walk up to the pickup window and ask for a large cup of water 😉
Oh my goodness! A Disney vacation sounds EXHAUSTING
I hope so
The world showcase is so large both are needed
My first visit at Disney a duck bit my shin at Casey’s Corner because I wouldn’t share my fries hahahaha
Disney ducks are SO sassy 🦆
😮😮😮
Most important tip: Don't go between March and October. March because spring break and it's super crowded. April through October because it's way too hot and humid to be walking around outside for 12 hours. November, late January (to avoid the Christmas break crowds) and February are the months to go.
I learned the white clothes rule the hard way. I have no idea how, because I had ZERO orange food and constantly checked while I ate and drank to make sure I didn’t spill, but SOMEHOW my nice white tank top with cute beads and yadda yadda ended up stained orange in a lot of spots after I wore it to EPCOT in May. 🤦🏽♀️
Yesss, finally! I'm working on my own Charlie-only version of this song as we speak
Omg I loved working at crystal palace! They always fed us there!!! 😊
Didn’t know about the self serve water locations!
My daughter left her fanny pack in a bathroom. It was mailed back to her about a week after we got home. This was about 25 years ago but still a sweet memory.
You just need 3 pants and 3 shirts. You can mix and match them for many days of clothes.
Love this channel.
❤❤❤
getting accidentally skipped over by the characters would be a blessing for me😭 i’m so awkward
My change purse sets off the scanners ! After the first two times, I left coins at hotel room.
First trip in 56 days!! 🥳
Yippee!!! 🎉
Enjoy!! 🏰

I am so disappointed that they moved the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival dates! We are booked for Aug 20-25, and we picked those dates a year ago to ensure we were there for the event. This is my nephew's grad trip; we have talked about it for 3+ years.
Oh no! 😭 I’m so sorry!!
That's a huge bummer 😢
Congrats on 1Million!
Thank you!!
Thank you Aj.
The last time I was in Hollywood Studios I when to PizzeRizzo at 5:15pm 😢
“Don’t feed the birds”
Hahaha last summer a bird literally flew up to our table and took a chicken tender off of my son’s plate and flew away with it 😂 Not kidding about them being aggressive!
A bird eating a chicken tender just feels wrong 😂😅
It's all so complicated. This is what distroy my holidays.
For the Security Check: if you have a bag of pins for pin trading in your bag, it WILL set off the scanner. Speaking from personal experience. 😅
First disney trip as an adult i packed heels 😂😂😂 what a chump!
Still can't believe Disney has safer walkable communities and better public transportation than the rest of the USA.
also, you shouldnt wear white because it goes see through when wet...i came off Journey to Atlantis once and everyone saw everything.
We are DVC and have taken advantage of split stays. Do the hotels also offer split stays?
Yes
Thank you for this video.
Thank you for being here ❤
how do you find out what lands are open early for resort guest at each Park?
Except at Magic Kingdom, all lands are open. Parts of World Showcase open later. Some rides may have later opening times.
You can think you’ve gotten rid of Chappy but you’ll always experience Chappy at Disney
favorite channel
One of mine too
Can we get a link to the clips for the minnie ears; couldn't find them when I looked on Amazon. Thank you!
You can get it here! amzlink.to/az00nQBcSmPE5
Slap bracelets work well too on the handle of your LoungeFly
Hi how are you I love your videos
There used to be another friendship boat in Epcot Where is it? It was not running when I was there in May
It hasn't been running for quite awhile.
Great help on this video!!! Thank you 👍🏻 ❤😊
Tomorrow is my birthday so hopefully the video released tomorrow will be AWESOME 🤞🤞
Happy almost bday!! ❤
Thank you 😊
underpants, UNDERPANTS! 😁
😂😂
ngl some of these seem more like minor inconveniences than something that would actually ruin your vacation, or simple mistakes that can be done even at a county fair or smth (mixing up cups or wearing loose items on rides for example). if i ever somehow get to disney, i probs would shrug some of this stuff off.
sorta dumb mistakes are easy to deal with if you arent super uptight and over thinking every little detail, which already ruins the trip.
i see it at Starbucks all the time. (as i said, it was a long day)
WHEW! Glad you got it back!
@@dfbbreea yea, thank you, it was very stressful, but i did get it!
Love dfb 🤍🤍
Aww thank you!!!!!
I’m planning on going for my first solo trip sometime next year hopefully 0:40
So, for the first one, lets say i wanted to close out magic kingdom at 11:00 pm, i can still catch the transportation and not be stranded
Mobile order is useless when there isn't an immediate-ish time available. Seriously, if they want to push people to mobile order, make that a benefit. Most people still won't use it and they'll stand in line anyway.
they should extend the skyliner.
If you buy something from a store that isn't Disney will they still ship it?
HEY, AJ !!!!!!!!! 🤗🤩😄👋💙💙💙
I need to ask
Do they have any pianos that they allow guests to play upon request
Would love to play my music there
It would be a dream
I heard in one video that there is a make your own tie dye shirt. Could you let me know which hotel offers this?
We've seen it at a few hotels in the past, but it definitely rotates. When you check-in you can ask at the front desk or keep an eye out for activity boards around the hotel that will tell you what is available that week
I'm pretty sure Pop Century does it all the time...
I have a knee replacement. Always sets off metal detectors
Wait so is the Epcot lounge still open to pass holders?
I don’t think so. It doesn’t show up anymore on the app.
Thanks! We leave in 5 days!
Can you book two lighting lane at 7 when they come available will be able to book tron and Tina bayou
You can totally hold up to two Individual Lightning Lanes per day, but remember - Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does NOT have an ILL. You can grab a Lightning Lane for it with a regular Genie+ purchase!
do you have a podcast?
Crystal Palace is terrible for dinner… the food is awful.
It is very exhausting!!! But. So much fun!!!!!!! 12:00
I don’t see how anyone can afford a Disney vacation. 33 year school teacher. All taxes paid. Small house. Never had a new car. Financially smart. I don’t know how people do it. Have fun, but what a waste of resources.
Only 50 mistakes? Seems like should be closer to 100?
Thank you for saying Not to feed them. I heard a report on how many had to be euthanized because they were sick! They can not should not be eating people food! Now if they fly down and grab out of your hand that's not the same I'm talking intentionally feeding them. I yelled at some adults about it then they gave me dirty looks! It's not funny! You're literally killing them!
I understand how tempting it can be, but we want keep our little animal buddies safe! ❤
How about just follow the golden rule treat others the way you would like to be treated. ♥️
You haven’t been to Disney without purchasing the premiere pass
Am I the only one who has had terrible luck with Fuel Rods? Not only have I gotten "charged" ones that didn't charge my phone, I've tried recharging them and had the same result. I bring my own chargers with cables now. $30+ down the drain.
Trip in 88 days
Yay!! 🎉
