Who’s here in 2024? I used to watch these videos years ago and am coming back to them like so many of us!
He sounds like hes constantly smiling
Haha he does
Just like DHAR MANN
Now you have said it I cant unhear it 😂😂
Guys, yeah this fella has really positive vibes, and happiness has around him, and he makes peoples smile!
I believe he does .. he sounds like a nice friendly dude
This man has single handingly made Fallout 4’s building techniques more interesting to the point where I’ve binge watched and got back into Fallout 4.
Six years. I sill find settlement building the best part of this game.
The new show brought me back to the game and the settlement building brought me back here...
@@Towkeeyohlmao Fr tho dude that one video that’s 1 hour and 10 mins long of some dudes sanctuary is actually insane. Gave me so much inspiration
It's amazing how much of a difference the floor instantly makes
This guys a fallout 4 post apocalypse contractor
I wish theyd have made it so you could get rid of all the weeds so you can make nice looking buildings without the weeds growing through the floor.
Ik im late but scrap everything mod does just fine
Slayer Runefrost and some functioning windows, would have been interesting to build shelter for settlers in a way that really matters, like in that fallout strategy game ‘survive the aftermath’
@@user-ce2wz2ki6z i wanted to make areas that protect from rad storm radiation but not even the concrete and metal will stop it.
I wish you could destroy everything, fences, buildings, trees but only in the settlements so every settlement is unique
@@user-ce2wz2ki6z right? Having glass panels as a building material would have been nice. And it's really kind of a no brainier. Wtf Bethesda? Also, how fucking hard is it to give me walls that fit the dimensions of the fucking foundations But then again, it took 2 DLCs for then to get concrete walls right so ........
X-box one here, just re floored a house sucessfully in Sanctuary today using this method. Thank you Skooled Zone!
Awesome. Glad it worked for you!
Hi. Xbox 1 user here, how do I raise and lower with the controller? Newbie here. Cheers
This was 2 years ago nobody’s going to respond
Matthew Lewis It still works today...💕😊💕
@@matthewlewis8593 I will, Child 0^0
Thanks man, playing through again in 2022 with more attention to detail and getting pretty in depth with all the settlement stuff. I don't know why this game gets slated so much, I've played a lot of games and fallout 4 is def in my top 5.
Nice, I like the look of the floors without so much of the rubbish and clutter around. Great work :)
Me too. Thanks! :)
Stumbling on this 6+ years later because it’s relevant again is WILD
This series is the best thing to happen to my Fallout gaming! So awesome!!
The “next gen” update broke my whole mod list. Waiting around for F4SE to be updated might as well brush up on my building skills. I don’t use any mods to change the building aspects of the game, so these videos are still invaluable.
Reflooring starts at 3:50.
Having a little trouble with the house on the right just as you enter sanctuary, floor doesn't want to go high enough, thanks for the vid!
If anyone is having difficulty doing this flooring technique on a PS4 (or the reroofing technique from the previous video), a viewer named Brett Mack identified that it could be because of the STS mod you may have installed ("Scrap that Settlement"). Try uninstalling that temporarily or any other terrain modification mods while you do these techniques and see if that helps.
I’m having difficulty with it, I never downloaded the sts mod in the first place, could it be another mod?
It's quite possible more than one mods interferes. Since I don't use mods, I can't experiment with it. But if you discover another culprit, let us know!
Does this trick work on Xbox One?
ENƬЄƖƬƧƲƘƛӇƛƦƛ, I use an Xbox One.
This particular house worked fine but I tried with the Sole Survivor's pre-war home and it isn't covering the debris. No mods installed of course. Any tips?
This was super helpful, Skool. I did every house using this method and they look clutch
Rockin! 🤘
As a committed settlement builder, I'm going to use the tips you provide going forward. Thank you for these videos!
Thanks man. I’m trying to turn my sanctuary into a post war suburban neighborhood and this helped a lot
one of the most beautiful sights ive ever seen... awesome job
I just tried the large post (in-game item, not this text thread), with these warehouse floors, on the "main" workshop house in Sanctuary, modifying the needed squares of course. Great fun! Thanks, SZ.
Nice work!
It baffles me how allergic everyone gets to SWEEPING THE FLOOR in this game 😂😂😂 i wish there was a way to get rid of it, so bad 😅 like, aside from new floors etc.
This is still a blessing! I recently got Fallout 4 for ps4 and the first thing I did when I made it to Sanctuary was pull up this video. Had really hard time trying to line up the floor (it kept showing red) but I finally realized it was probably because I hadn't emptied the house...
I emptied the house just in case that was the problem. It still won’t turn green.
Wow I’ve been playing for years and never thought this was possible. Thank you! 😭💜
Awesome! Definitely going to use this when I do my no mods playthrough.
Looks great. Thanks for the tips on all of this. I use them frequently.
Awesome 👌
Wow, I got it. Hold the left bumper and A button down (Xbox one) at the same time. So I can slide the floor up and down! Thank you very much Skoolzone! You are number one!
Amazing! I can't wait to floor my Santuary tonight
For those that may not want the porch, but don't want the gaps, concrete walls fill the gaps perfectly. Just attach them to the floor pieces before you pillar glitch the floor in. Also helps fill in the missing walls and closes up the houses a bit!
Your voice is so easy to listen to. Great videos.
dude! you are a genius. really wish they had included a seperate tutorial just for build mode because i’m still finding out new features to this day
I’ve just come across your videos and they’re so good, six years later and they’re still appreciated! Thank you :D
You bet, and welcome aboard!
you should do a rewalling castle vid if you haven't already
that guy you know I think he covered it in the pillar glitch video
Look up rug glitch use that concept amd rewall from the inside works for me everytime
I've got ~75 mods (easily half r settlement mods) but I still appreciate the OG techniques. good show
Cada vez mais descubro o quanto esse jogo é incrível, graças à vídeos como esse!!!
Brazilians are watching you, thanks for this great series.
Awesome videos, I just found your channel about 40 minutes ago. I love your videos so far. I don't play fallout anymore but I still love watching streams and videos of it. Thanks for the vid :)
LetsGameWithShane: Welcome to the Skooled Zone community. 😃
Started replaying this game and even though these are older videos they have given me a lot of great ideas. 👍🏻
Glad to hear it! I try to make "evergreen" content so they're always relevant and helpful even if they get old. ;-)
You're awesome, dude!!! Awesome advice mixed with a fun personality.
Would love to see a video on "Logic Gates" LOL! So confusing! Great video as usual!
I would imagine those are coming soon.
JTwinTurbo is correct. Logic gates are definitely on the "syllabus" :) Stay tuned!
cool lol
Great video. Can't wait to see you put the walls on the building. Keep up the great work.
👌
I thought the same. This videos are high quality and it is a shame that you don't get more credit because the playerbase is shrinking. but it is great for us that you are still committed :-)
Nce, just used your roffing tip in sanctuary, not as big roofs but same principal.
This flooring i will try.
Awesome you bring out video's on fallout 4 without mods. Keep up the great content.
Thanks. Will do!
I just recently subscribed. All I've seen so far are your no mods shop class videos and I have to say I've loved every one that I've seen. Best fallout build guides out there.
Hey, I really appreciate that. And welcome aboard!
Best tutorials on RUclips, hands down. Very informative, very polite commentator, very good quality content. Found you about like 6 months ago and I've been hooked on ur fallout 4 tutorials. If I had money, I would help you out on patreon. You deserve it Paul! *edit from here on out*. I just noticed i wasnt subbed. I thought i did that like 6 months ago!!! Better late then never :)
Always better late than never, haha. Thanks for the kind words man!
@@SkooledZone no problem! Just saying it as it is!
Very cool idea. I’ve seen a lot of roof and wall fixes, but this is the first reflooring I’ve seen. On my next playthrough I want to try this with some grated flooring. Hoping I’ll still be able to see all the garbage underneath
I did it omg I can't believe it thank you so much ! You are awesome !
You can do 3 1/2 instead of 4 1/2 and get even less of a porch and the inside is covered.
Oh wow. I restarted FO4 3 times already and I always wanted to restore Sanctuary a bit but I would have never thought about these things. I mean that you can literally insert your things into the already existing houses. Greetings from April 2022. :)
First video ive watched and the wall of fame idea is refreshing and brought back my faith in humanity. Definitely subbing
Haha, thanks Callum. Welcome aboard!
Just started playing again and am rewatching all your vids to remember all the little tips and tricks.
I’m glad I’m not the only one still playing and using these tutorials. But I just tried to use this method on a house in sanctuary and I can’t get it to work. It’ll let me put the floor down underneath the scrappy foundation, but not covering it.
@@alexis8978 I can get it to work, but sometimes have to switch pillars from barn to warehouse or vice versa. It’s the same when ever I use the pillar glitch. If one doesnt work I switch. Either the concrete pillar warehouse or barn pillars. It may just be me though.
@@serpintinelion8926 I’ll try that the next time I get in a bind w it. I got it to work after reading a comment saying that having mods (even if you’re not using them atm) can interfere. Took them off and got it to work.
I sure miss these videos.
More on the way, no worries. ;-)
Thank you for such a helpful video!
You bet 😀
Thank you soooooo much, I've used this a lot on my new character. Works great! Thank you, thank you, thank you :) :)
👍
Love the video buddy keep it up
Dude you are an awesome guy. Never change man. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the really nice comment Isaiah!
I always thought you meant the button next to the start button by ‘select’ but you mean A! Now it works thanks
I'm glad I found this video!
Hi, tysm for this! I can't wait to go and do this in my settlement! ^_^
I took a break on fallout for a while, getting back into it, so, watching you again! Catching up! Loves, wish me luck with my builds!
👍
Crap!!! I fill so slow after watching this XD. You've just made my settlements a whole lot nicer. Great tip.
That was interesting and I didn’t think of doing that so I will definitely give it a try.
I am floored by this video. Thanks.
🥁🤪
Thanks for the tips m8. I just started playing fallout one week ago an am loving the game , so addictive lol
Haha, totally addictive! :)
Your still my number one for Fallout 4 inspiration...luv your channel...👍❤🖒
I know this is really late but I love your videos! I just got fallout 4 actually but i’ve been watching all your vids and you’re so professional!
Hey thanks so much! 😀
This is amazing 🖤
Nice. Thanks for the video
You bet 👍
I am SUPER new to Fallout 4. My friend JUST bought it for me on the Steam Sale and I'm gonna sound like such a noob but this trick blows my mind and it makes my life so much better. Thank you lolol
Thanks Ellie. Glad the videos help. 😊
Oh and this trick will blow your mind even more: ruclips.net/video/YdaR7m4gct4/видео.html
Great vids and you just got another subscriber . love fallout 4 and watching your videos might help me with building
Right on. And welcome to the Zone!
He is like the Bob Ross of settlement building
Very cool idea. Nice work!
Thanks James!
great video
I just used console commands (Obv I play on PC) to disable the leaves and rubble. The floors genuinely look really nice IMO after they're all cleaned up like that.
Man your videos are amazing !!!! Thanks so much !!!!!
I appreciate that!
Thnx for these videos
Wow,that is cool!
You're the best RUclips I'm not kidding this is the best
I have learned so much from your build vid's i hope you can show more gread tricks ;)
Thanks, and I definitely have more tricks to show! =)
This was very helpful thank you
You bet! 😊
Skooled Zone thanks
This was sweet dude
You’re awesome man
your classes really floor me -great job
Thanks Susan. Lovin' the pun!
If I ever do this, I may try to double stack floors on the front side of the house. One more floor in depth on the front would take care of that gap you end up seeing.
I got a Home Depot ad watching the video. 😂
man idk if youll ever see this but i just got into fallout 4 (2nd time) after playing skyrim for the first as now i own a console again and these videos are about to be the biggest blessing. new sub 💞 its also 7am and i cant sleep hahaha
That's awesome! Welcome aboard 👍
It still perplexes me how Bethesda made something pretty unique to the fallout series only to fuck it up by having buildings and objects along with piles of debris and trash we can’t get rid of which completely ruins the settlement building because all of that shit gets in the way
I can’t figure out how to do it on other houses?
Edit: nevermind just some of the houses were a different size so I had to tweak the base.
PS: thank you for making these videos because during the lockdown I’ve been recently replaying this game and you know that you gotta have a nice base.
5 years later and still useful
thank you
Good video. Watching your videos has been helping me with my settlements. Wich is helpful because . I am only rilly building up some . An doing bare minimum In the rest.
That's great, Matthew. Glad the videos are helping!
great videos my friend
👍
Amazing
I would support you on patreon but im only a kid
Gj you are probably the best at these titotial all though that British dude is also awesome , very detailed and A+
Hey Moses. I went to reply to your comment on another video a few days ago but it vanished. Sorry if it got deleted accidentally. Anyway, thanks for your support bro! 👊
Love your videos, they've given me a ton of inspiration. One problem I have noticed for those using the CC modern floors is that you can't lower pillars through them, making interior wall repairs difficult.
I've found the best work-around is to do all your wall repairs first, then place the floor, using quicksave/load if you mess up as it means you only get one shot
My issue is when moving something in like you did with the floor, when I try to reselect it, the game group selects the other stuff close, like the roof. Great stuff you put out dude! Keep up the great work
There must be something from the workshop connecting the floor to the roof. Otherwise, it shouldn't do that. See here: ruclips.net/video/eO9Rgbg91os/видео.htmlm56s
Awesome vids sir
Glad you like them!
Honestly miss this dude a lot
Thanks man. I'm still here. New video this Saturday as a matter of fact. ;-)
@@SkooledZone heck ya dude I’ll definitely be there Saturday as soon you post it :)
I subscribed to you 10 minutes ago and I already like your channel
That's awesome man. Welcome to the Zone!
thanks glad im in the zone
Dude! Awesome sauce!
🤘
that was kickass! it'd be nice if the ceilings could be "fixed" like ya did the floor!
Ask and you shall receive ;-) ruclips.net/video/rWX0xsjQaNw/видео.html
Seriously good content man, wish I knew of these when I was on console! Luckily, place in red mod doesn't account for everything, so I still use your tricks often :)
