- The campaign is fun in single-player, but Dying Light 2 4-Player Co-op is where the game gets really zany! Check out this gameplay clip!
The story may preserve its grim feel, but Dying Light 2 coop is filled with synchronized dropkicks, multiplayer parkour challenges, and tons of funny moments. Dying Light 2 co op also has loot sharing, so your pickups and progress can carry over to you singleplayer campaign. If you're wondering how many players, you can play in either 2-player, 3-player, or even 4-player. Make sure to check it out when Dying Light 2 releases February 4th, 2022.
With the expense of a few glitches. It ACTUALLY LOOKS PROMISING when playing with friends, the 'staying alive scheme' is working on me. Playing with other survivors as a team is so entertaining to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drop kick animation looks a bit wonky at times. But otherwise looks fun.
It’s always be wonky. Still looks wonky in the first game. Especially when watching another player do it.
The animations are hilarious in multiplayer. Extremely immersion breaking but equally funny so it cancels out for me.

Apparently there’s gonna be a day 1 patch adress major bugs
stupidly techland have let all these people play on the unpatched version. so the review scores are lower because people are complaining about bugs.

There’s not a few there’s too many the game is filled with them and you can hardly play the game co op doesn’t work for most people audio glitches that affect dialogue and glitches that make it so you can’t progress through the story it’s a joke we’ve waited since 2019 and for what a broken game that’s almost unplayable smh

It probably looks buggy because it's multiplayer using an online connection. All the single player gameplay I've seen looks completely fine

Nah… it’s about the same. The parkour actually looks faster imo, especially climbing up on object’s.

Well in the first game combat was slow as well until leveled up the combat branch so it’s most likely the same thing
some blunt weapons in dying light 2 swing slower while bladed weapons swing faster... there are also heavy blunt weapons and light blunt weapons

Believe me nothing is more immersion break than swinging on a zombie 10 not knowing when it’s actually going to die. Especially when you’ve hit them in the head 6 fuckin times. Health bars are a must in this case

How does loot work? Is it shared? Can you take it back to your save?

Its like borderlands 3 where every player have different loot so you guys wont fight over it
you take your loot and character progression (skills weapons gear pieces and loot from around the world) back into your safe
Its not shared! You get your loot when completed & can be taken back to your own world.

The gravity in the first game was actually faster, this one is now at 9.8 m/s, they did Make it a little floaty though so you have a little extra time to make parkour decisions
