- Riding my bike from north of the polar circle to Copenhagen: 1800km in 10 days - in October: rain, cold and darkness. An epic bikepacking trip.
Why did I take this on me?
In July 2021, I set out on the biggest challenge of my life: To ride around Scandinavia by bike, within 30 days. 200km, every single day. I was supported by a crew of friends, who took care of food, water, filming, setting up camp and moral support. This trip was initially my idea to show everyone who’s been saying otherwise, that you can do the greatest things with a vegan, plant based lifestyle!
I set off from Helsinki and made it all the way to the North Cape and southwards along Norways amazing west coast. Unfortunately, an injured achilles tendon put a halt to my challenge halfway through - which left me devastated.
Everyday since that I was left thinking what could have been - and I grew to realize that for me, the only way to stop all that regretting was to finish the job this year!
Such an incredible journey! I love how you admired the moon at the end of the day and said you were gonna make it. Thanks for the great inspiration and looking forward to the next videos :)
