Very well done! I see what you meant by Hululu being surprisingly strong.. Kinda thought the penguins were a bit weak, but that was justified by their cost. Surprised me to see that they're actually fairly good, the best for their cost. (Besides Ezo) Originally thought that there might've been a glitch at 3:25, but once 3:41 hit and I saw that pic, I knew it was intentional lol. The Cellien Hunters being so high up makes sense, they are endgame Friends after all, plus it's their whole thing. Overall, very well made, very useful that you included the cost efficiencies as well. I was wondering why there was so much time left over after Cellval.. Then it all made sense. Also uh.. Can I ask where you got the footage for 12:23? Took be my surprise lmao
Thanks! Penguins as a whole really blew me away. They always felt weak to me in game, but it makes sense. They're cheap, you get them all at once, but take cost into account and they're quite good. Hululu especially when you consider her raw damage coupled with the bun finding passive, she easily pays for herself. Though Rockhopper is debatably even better in the long term as her efficiency ranking doesn't count her 3% damage passive. Ezo as well, never would have picked her being the most cost efficient. I've started another playthrough of the game yesterday, this time on "Ultra Hell Mode"- Basically, Hell Mode but with the purple minmi statue. I've seen your playthrough, and I've beaten level 3 Dark Serval on Hell Mode with the statue, so I figured why not try it out? And.. Dear god, what did I get myself into?? XD When it takes an hour to pass the first level, you know you're in for a tough ride. It's not even the boss that was hard, I beat it on my second try, but it's the regular enemies. If there's two or more celliens in the same room, I'm screwed. That's pretty much how it is. There's just simply not enough time to react to attacks and make my own at the same time. It's a death sentence on CR difficulty, when you have to beat 5 celliens to move on to the next floor.. I originally wanted to try and beat it on CR for an extra level of hell, but I probably bit off more than I can chew here. Once I unlock the wave attack it'll be a lot easier.. If I can even reach it. Currently stuck on Dark Serval's first battle, it's basically level 3 all over again but I have significantly less offensive power and can't double jump. My best attempts have gotten less than 10% of her HP down. And if level 3 took me hundreds of attempts... Yikes. I'll probably have to lower it to VU or NT to see how possible this even is. Hell Mode + purple statue + CR can be Ultra Hell Mode Deluxe or something, lol. This is crazy hard and it's just the second boss.
Well I wish you good luck, you'll need it! Enemies are only going to get worse too. Roaches will suck. Not sure if you're using friends (for your sake I hope so!) but hippo was quite useful against dark serval early on. You're far braver than I, trying something like this. I've been trying a few sin wild hell purple statute bosses with regular serval myself and it's just awful.
@@LughSamildanach thank you! I tried this without any other Friends at first, but ultimately I did give in and summon Hippo for Dark Serval. She did help a bit, and definitely is the best Friend here, but I still couldn't get too far. Dark Serval is just too damn fast lol, I forgot she already had her dash attack from the very beginning.. With the purple statue it's impossible to react to it in time if you're too close. That's the only thing that's getting me really. I'll actually restart the whole thing and record it this time, since it's not like I've gotten past any major hurdles yet, but it'd be an absolute miracle if I'm able to actually get a full playthrough recorded. I'm dreading the boss rush.. Wouldn't wanna resort to item cheese but it might have to come to that. Two items I'm banning though are the yellow and violet crystals, they defeat the purpose of being on hell mode and having the violet statue, similar to your run (minus the violet crystal).
