I wasn't going to post until you mentioned how many fat, broke pieces of shit are in this hobby. As I was listening to this, I was on my elliptical, deep in a zone 2 workout and i started laughing out loud. You nailed it. Like you, i want to go to a track, run a time, and get away from there as fast as possible. It's a shame that's the way it is, but facts are facts. Most of those people would be much better served by listening to Huberman, Attia and Goggins than this, but it's great to hear someone in this space acknowledging health, wellness and accountability. I have a supercharged 19 5.0 F150. I only run about 9-10 psi, she's my daily. I'd love a flex tune. Needing an internet connection and 10-15minutes to swap tunes on HP tuners TDN stuff from gasoline to our local E70 sucks. If I'm forced to take off on a road trip and happen to be full of Ethanol, my next fuel stop could easily be in the middle of somewhere with no internet signal. I've also had people (not you, not Lund) tell me that the vehicle won't pick up much at such low boost, but the truck picks up 2-3 tenths in the eighth going from 91 to E70 with no boost change. I get not wanting the company name on blown up engines, but at moderate boost levels driven by an adult, I'd surely love it.

I peaked out at 493lbs little over two years ago, currently at 225lbs, my car is noticeably faster. Haven't changed a single thing on it. Wish I had a dragy back then vs now.
I ❤ the grammar lessons Alex, hard to take people seriously when the spelling brings back my 1st grade PTSD from English class. I was in a private school in Germany through 2nd grade. Teachers spanked my hands with rulers and my 🍑 with a big cricket paddle.
I have a lot of E85 and 93 gas stations in Iowa. My problem is the E85 is not reliably 85%. My goal is to tune for 91 piss and also get an E85 tune for performance. I won’t pulley down beyond the range that 91 is happy.

The deal is the guys with big floppy tires have a hard time with fly paper tracks southern radial prep tracks. I think the big tire guys should test on 315 radials if they really want to blow records away.
This is why I talked about no prep guys coming over to prep and having a hard time.

I don't trust the idea of flex in a supercharged Coyote. I don't even trust people to properly mix Ethanol. The average car guy can't do math and isn't disciplined. To properly mix Ethanol, you need to know what the Ethanol content of your local stations are. Then you have to look up the size of your gas tank. Then, do math for the first fill up, and then every subsequent fill up (first fill up needs more ethanol). And once you know the math, be religious. Go to the same station or stations with the same miles to empty. Swipe your card, pump the Ethanol. Swipe your card again, pump the gas. No way in hell the average guy can/will do that
Alex your really good at constructive criticism but here is some food for thought. If everyone started to think and view things the way you do then why would it not be surprising the racing community is the way it is... Or maybe more and more people are viewing the world the way you do and that's why we are there now.
Not everyone trying to be friendly is lying or out to get you or someone else.
Seems like a miserable way to view things.
Don't take this as a shot at your or anyone else. Take it as constructive criticism or food for thought.
