Very excited to try this routine out!
😂😂 I love to see result
Hello, so nobody has answered this question for me me when I have asked on other videos so I will try here... Can anyone explain the rationale of using a deep conditioner after the ACV, then using the bentonite clay? The clay itself says it’s a clarifier which is a cleanser. Wouldn’t that just strip out the moisture you added to your hair with the deep conditioner? Thanks in advance...
I was thinking this too. Chev B. did a video on this method and she deep conditioned after the mask and her hair turned out good so I don't think it really matters
@@jasminet.4255 but like you said she deep conditioned AFTER the mask so this doesn’t follow to protocol of all of the videos I have watched on max hydration and doesn’t answer my original question. For this method, they have you deep condition then apply the clarifying mask which would strip the hair of the conditioner you just put in. My question was what’s the rationale in deep conditioning and then putting in the clarifying mask if it will just strip the moisture you just put in it?
@@mzjuicywaters2158 I get what you mean, I was just saying that you'll probably get the same results either way. My guess for why they do the deep conditioner first is so the mask wont be as stripping. Doing the mask right before the leave-in and gel might also help those products absorb/moisturize better because the hair has just been clarified.
@@jasminet.4255 I hear you. But I did the method as written on my daughter’s hair and didn’t get these results. That’s why I questioned it in the first place. But IMHO deep conditioning before clarifying a second time seems like a waste of product. Why put a product in the hair to do a job then strip the hair of that product... IDK. I’m just curious.
@@mzjuicywaters2158 so to my understanding if someone has low porosity hair, meaning it doesn't absorb or hold moisture well, they deep condition after clarifying to add lubrication (despite what people say only water moisturizes, oils, creams etc just help the moisture stay in the hair) and keep the clay from stripping the hair of what little moisture it can hold, acting as a buffer while the clay deposits minerals which helps the hair coil and clump together for definition.
The only way to be sure of what your daughter's hair needs is to experiment.
If you don't use a lot of product in her hair ACV rinse may be too much or you can leave they clay in too long. It's hard to tell from videos if our hair is similar enough to get the same results.
Hope this helps.
You are so cutie. Just subscribed! X
