Thank you for this video. We are on a trip to Noway in May/June and will be catching ferry home from Rotterdam. We've always used the tunnel to cross before so this site and the information on the vet is ideal for us !

I think you'l like the ferry ride from Rotterdam, we like the Harwich route such a pain for us getting to the Tunnel . Thank you for another brilliant tour. We returned 3 weeks ago from Holland for the first time after 3 months travelling as far as Croatia. I was wondering how much you had to pay for Poppy at the vets. We paid €62 for Poppy which is quite a bit more than France or Spain.
Hi , we paid €55 for our Poppy , she's 7.5kg . We have found northern European Vets are dearer that Spain , we paid €50 in Belgium in May . In France and Spain we have paid in the range of €30 - €40 , but we known of people paying less. We went to The Netherlands in 2017 and my son was friends with a Dutch exchange student and asked her advice: Delft. I think her explanation was that it was like Amsterdam but smaller and without the bad bits, having been there as well that seems about right. Did they make Poppy wear a muzzle on board or were you doing that as a precaution? It’s an issue that comes up on motorhome Facebook groups and people in the U.K. get anxious about it because their dogs aren’t used to being muzzled (neither is ours but we’ve always stuck to Eurotunnel).
Hi good afternoon , strictly speaking the rules say that dogs should be muzzled on the boat , but there didn't seem to be a lot of enforcement of the rule . We put it on Poppy as she's used to it as we regularly travel on public transport in Europe where it's required and we trained her to get used to a muzzle while she was young, so she's happy with it, specially as she gets loads of treats . We have a soft muzzle that's open at the end so we can give her a treat as we go. (Pet's at Home). Hi guys, could you just advise how far this site is from the town & also how far Kinderdijk camper park was from the windmills to walk please? Thanks, Elen
Hi Elen, the walk to Kinderdijk Heritage Centre is 3 miles , but it's flat and the distance is easily covered as you walk through the windmills to get there. There is cafe/ restaurant there and toilets etc. It's an nice walk but if you have bikes being Holland there is a great cycleway to use that takes you from Camperstop all the way. The walk from the campsite to the centre of Delft is 15 - 20 mins and again is an easy walk, again bikes routes are available. Hope that helps we really enjoyed both spots and walked both routes as we took Poppy along. Best wishes Helen and Martin
Hi , no we haven’t ever. We’re aware that some stories on Facebook are suggesting there are issues but can’t verify those. We have friends currently touring who haven’t experienced any difficulty. I should clarify that this doesnt apply to direct fill bottles which has always been an issue , but proper fitted systems have always been fine to now. I’ll keep an eye on it. H and M
