Great video. Lake Bled has been on our itinerary twice, but we still have not been. First time, two technical problems and a broken windscreen cost us so much time, so we either had to cut out Bled or Ljubliana, and we cut out Bled. The second time, the weather was so bad that we did not want to see it in thick clouds. It had been wet at Plitvice National Park, but it got worse. Will look forward to your part 2.

Loved this video! What a stunning place. I don’t know if you have already talked about this, but when did you leave for this European trip and how long did you spend away? Just trying to work out how long we would want to take to do something similar. Also the best time of year to do it. Your videos are so enjoyable and informative. Looking forward to your next trip.
Thanks very much for your kind comments. In terms of time scales, this trip for us was a little different , we had just less than a month left on our rolling Schengen Clock , so we were limited in time . We basically planned two main stops at Fussen and Bled , neither disappointed and then managed to squeeze a few more things in around them. They are coming up in the next coupe of videos. It didn't feel rushed in that time, but if we hadn't been restricted we would have probably taken six weeks and called at Innsbruck and Ljubljana. If you do head down that region check out Rothenburg (There's a video here - ruclips.net/video/yoRuoHYtcH8/видео.html ) and Berchtesgaden (visit the Eagles Next if you haven't been) . Thanks for the tips. Just watched your video on Rothenberg - another great video and looks well worth a visit. We are planning to go to Croatia (I think!) and we will definitely fit in Lake Bled and some of your German ideas and want to see some more of Austria. We can spend about six weeks so this seems like it could work, leaving either late May or early September.

Thank very much, it's very kind of you to say so. Prices range from £30.00 - £40 at peak times. It has prime location status so I guess the charges come with that. Bled❤ it's fab that there are coffee stands on way around the lake...but are there loos?? 🤔🙈🤣 vital info required please lol
Hi Leanne , we had to check before replying, we didn't want to get such critical piece of information wrong 😂😂😂. The coffee shops have mainly got toilets but three public toilets are plotted on google maps , strategically located around the lake. We used the ones in bars and cafe's so I can't vouch for the public ones but everything else was spotless so we remain hopeful. Hope that helps , thanks for watching Helen and Martin
