Wonderfully produced video as always. We were fortunate to have been based in Germany for 12 years & that area was one of our favourites- Germany & Bayern in particular has such good walking/cycling routes. I smiled at your morning run routine - could have been us writing that - the early recce for the day ahead. Looking forward to phase 2.

What a fabulous video. I would love to go on that walk with the rickety bridge . I only recently discovered there were Ivy Bees after walking past some Ivy which was buzzing with hundreds of tiny bees near where I live . I thought I had walked into a bee hive ! I think the castle looked like a Disney one , it’s magnificent !!
I never knew about Ivy Bees , it quite special to see ,there were so many. The Castle is reputedly to have inspired Walt Disney to build the first Disney Castle in California. Thanks very much for watching Helen and Martin

Füssen and Schloss Neuschwanstein is a beautiful place we were also there in August and had the same meal as you in the same restaurant, while we were watching your vlog my wife said I wonder if they have a Schweinshaxe as you have to in Bayern 🤣 and look and behold you did 😄. Fantastic photos from Martin again I just wish I could take photos like that. 💙❤️

Lovely vlog and took us back to our time there. Great shots of the castle!! That’s Stellplatz was brilliant wasn’t it? So handy with Aldi and Lidl on your doorstep for provisions. It made me chuckle that you go on adventurous runs and bike rides, trying out the local beer and our main goal is for me to make it up the hills in one piece and then seek out the best coffee and cake 🤣 Via La difference in how we all travel 😊x

Common ivy comes into flower at this time of the year and presents insects with a valuable and scarce source of nectar - all the action is on the ivy and if the sun comes out then butterflies will be attracted too.

You’ve missed out on one of our top two site in Europe, one being Camping Jungfrau in Switzerland and just by the lakeside is camping Brunnen, we spent 5 nights there one year (in a tent) loved it so much we returned the following year for 10 nights, absolutely love the area. Safe travels.
Hi Edwin we agree about Camping Jungfrau, it is one of the best sites in the Europe, we have stayed there. I rode my bike passed Camping Brunnen around the lake , it looked very nice. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
Another excellent vlog. I see a lot of lovely rivers and lakes in you German vlogs. We are keek canoe 🛶 users and wondered if you know whether you can use you own inflatable canoes on many of these

There are three lakes and people were using their own equipment , It looked a great from a bye standers point of view. Lake Bled was definitely a option in Slovenia to . videos to come.
