Mark Melchior This is also not true.. when a blown call is reviewed and does not get overturned. The coaches or players cannot argue or it's an immediate ejection... however, players and coached still do it.
Toiska36 as a cardinals fan I am very disappointed in you sir. What did that have to do with anything (edit) just realized this from 4 years ago sorry m8
Greg Gibson is one of the best. He missed this call because he was straight lined. It happens. it is ridiculous to think he should be fined and suspended for this call.
Jerry Davis is the crew chief...I'm an amateur umpire and for all of u umpires (or if u do any other sports) out there I recommend u buy ur umpire clothing and supplies from Jerry Davis...quality products at reasonable prices..I never met Jerry and don't work for him.
Well bitch guess who won it all that year you fucking douche. Feel sorry if you are a Milwaukee fan. Both the Brewers and the bucks suck. Teams from Milwaukee clearly suck.
EMCXOWNAGEWOLF dude, are you fucking stupid? that's a brewers fan seeing it from the cardinals point of view and you take the time to berate him? can you even fucking read, you worm?
I don't get how this was clear. None of the 3 angles show Pujols definitively touching the bag. Out of the 3 views of the play (Live and the 2 replays), the first replay was the best angle (though that isn't saying much) and it wasn't clear that Albert touch the base. It looked like he kicked the dirt instead. Now he may have touched the base but none of the views we had here actually show him touching the base...
If LaRussa gets tossed it's for a good reason. He never argued unless he really needed to.
With replay now, none of this happens
Not true at all. There has been plenty of blown calls even with the replay.
I didn't necessarily mean the call wouldn't still get blown, but with a review, most of the arguing has gone away in these instances

Greg Gibson, the first base umpire
This is why the challenge was made.
BAD BAD call. Umpire should be fined and suspended for stuff like this. Throws out Larussa too.

EASILY out
I'm a reds fan. And if Pujols argues its prolly a bad call
Clintnix
Ha I was at this game! I remember him getting ejected.
TG for instant replay now
Still not as bad as Joyce's call on Galarraga!
I think the umpires should have gotten together to discuss what the other umpires saw
That's only up to umpire making call
No
Anyone who's got the ability to see, can clearly see that he was out
I can see that was out indeed.
Really no angel they gave was 100 legitimate I like to see camera angel from down line
OOPS. Hahahaha. Meant "out." That's akward......
BAD CALL

*Gerry Davis
this is the reason why mlb got instant replay
30 sec commerical to watch 2 minute baseball clip. Every video from mlb. What a joke.
How in the fuck do you not have ad block
Well, let's see. Hmmm. The year 2011. I wonder who won it all that year... Hmmm. I think the year turned out ok for us, don't you?
Are you fucking kidding me? Safe by literally a mile!
Bro look back at 0:48 and you’ll see Pujos’s foot touched first base so the runner was out
The first base umpire was (#53/Greg Gibson)
No, he’s the home plate umpire, and he’s motioning to both players.
I think he was out...... and please, spare me your "fanboy" rhetoric
Well bitch guess who won it all that year you fucking douche. Feel sorry if you are a Milwaukee fan. Both the Brewers and the bucks suck. Teams from Milwaukee clearly suck.
Also if that is your wife or girlfriend....bruh...she is fucking ugly as you.
EMCXOWNAGEWOLF I'm a Cardinals fan, first off. And secondly, that's not my wife, and why the hell does it matter if it was?
I'm a brewers fan, but jesus christ. That was bad.
Lol brewers suck man....when was the last time they even won a world series. Cardinals are 11 time world series champions.
IsoTonicMods o COM From a Tigers fan, good luck to Milwaukee in the future. Their fans are relatively nice.
Also, go Packers!
EMCXOWNAGEWOLF dude, are you fucking stupid? that's a brewers fan seeing it from the cardinals point of view and you take the time to berate him? can you even fucking read, you worm?
bad call
Easy call, not sure how the ump screwed it up so badly
And this is why we have replay reviews
John Baha plays like this
Absolutely.

You are joking right?
@@RailroadEngineer123 Nope...
No
This is why we have instant replay now, folks. La Russa had a legit beef here. Bad call all the way around.
It looks like the call was right. Can't tell but his foot looked like it just barely missed.
Look again at :35 in this video, he CLEARLY has the toe of his shoe on the bag.
Wrong
