- For those that are now confused (somebody always is when Tommaso appears), Carlo has 2 children: Skye who is also my daughter and Tommaso from an earlier relationship. Tommaso (aka Tommy) lives in Montepertuso just a short walk from ours and is a pastry chef.
As soon as Carlo finished his job he wanted to book a trip away. Obviously with all the restrictions he was limited to Europe so chose Lisbon, a place he had always wanted to visit. He wanted us all to come but we couldn't take or leave Holly so I offered to stay behind with her. So it because the first ever father and kids trip away!

Carlo and his children, Skye and Tommaso, vacation in gorgeous Lisbon. This was a wonderful treat. I laughed at Carlo's comment, "antique trolley with WIFI." The drone film is spectacular. I love it when we can learn about the history of a place.❤️

I used the phrase "early retirement" because it is a term used for someone younger than the typical retiring age of 65. Carlo is young, and the terminology has nothing to do with how many years Carlo has been employed.

Totally agree with you, he has a very nice and natural camera presence. Plus authentic food is hard to resist :).
Actually, regarding Tommaso having a cooking channel, I have to say that he has a confident, authentic and pleasant way of communication. Maybe something to consider?

PS : and I'm happily surprised that it's allowed to fly a drone over the city, it's beautiful !
It comes with certain restrictions, but I’m sure Carlo is aware of that:). There are strict rules depending on your drone's weight, your flight zones and a code of conduct to follow. Failing to comply with local drone laws could expose you up to 2,500€ in fines. 😦

I loved the fact that you are so close with your children, I think that it is wonderful that you can go places with them and it doesn’t matter who does the commentary I find it all interesting to pick up a few words in your native tongue, keeps me wanting to learn more. That is what travel is all about.
I believe humans would be more tolerable and accommodating towards each other is everyone had the opportunity to travel .

Just watched your last 2 videos very nice. Liked what you do when not responsible for everyone's lunch and dinner. Like that Carlo and kids have a good time. I have been in Florida for 2 1/2 weeks visiting relatives and loving the warmth as opposed to northeatern USA. I treat my trips there as a "refresh" and do not answer emails or do the internet at all, so peaceful.

Carlo and his son are very natural hosts on camera. Let's see more please. I cannot get enough. They are a very good team of presenters in Italian. Sky is sweet on camera too but seems quite shy despite her gorgeous and stunning face. Being on camera is not for everyone so no worries. Just loving all these daily lovely trip excursions which obviously take up time, planning and effort apart from the daily editing so thanks very much for all your hard work and consistency. 😊

Cable Cars! Oh wow its almost like being in San Francisco again. That makes it so much easier getting around such a large city. A beautiful place to visit. Carlo could not keep his eyes of the pasties. Such a large variety everywhere. I see so much of Roman influence in the ancient builds.
Yes cable cars, we also have a bridge, called the 25 of April bridge which is a downsized version of the golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco,
