    With this third consecutive loss in a conference title game, the Eagles joined Dallas (1980-1982) and the Raiders from 1968-1970 and 1973-1975. From what I've learned from NFL Films, Eagle fans were most demoralized by the Buccaneers loss, I assume because McNabb was healthy and Tampa Bay had never won a game in below 40 degree temperature. In the Top Ten Devastating losses episode, it was said the fans were so demoralized, they didn't even do their usual booing leaving the stadium.

Dan Morgan and Will Witherspoon at LB with Mike Minter and Deon Grant roaming behind them. The CBs were the closest thing to a weak link, but thanks to the pass rush they weren't exposed that often.

    • @NYG5
      @NYG5 2 года назад +1

      Westbrook does so much to soften up the coverage. It's why the Eagles offense went from scoring around 16 points against the Giants every game before Westbrook to upwards of 24 points when he became a starter. Giants used to be able to get away with what the Panthers did here, pressing their pedestrian WRs and containing and going after McNabb. Once Westbrook comes along you would have him running one on one against fat Antonio Pierce and the like for easy yardage.
      He was like Tiki Barber with less cutback but more speed and power. Maybe a little faster than LT

  • @chrisuncleahmad

    Panthers/Patriots on paper might be the least interesting SB since Ravens/Giants
    But considering their knack for close games, it will likely not be a blowout
