Ordered the 2025 xlt awd luxury package. 3 more weeks away! I live in upstate ny but I drive to the city a lot. So my area is very snowy and rural so its nice to have an AWD truck but the city is compact so its nice that its not big. Perfect for me. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
I have a 2023 Maverick XL AWD out of Rockford,IL. I agree with you about the 3,500 miles oil changes. I plan on changing my oil & filter every 5,000 miles and changing the trans, PTU, and Diff fluid every 30,000 miles. Going to be undercoating the truck in the next couple of weeks with Blaster’ Undercoating. Great video!
I bought a 2023 Lariat hybrid and have 9,000 miles on it. I love it. I have it setup to flat tow behind our class C RV. I also tow my 16’ Alumacraft boat behind the Maverick and it tow great. MPG averages close to 40.
Had my maverick (2022) for over a year now, got 31k miles and I’ve got no complaints. Sadly, I did not doge the air bag recall but my dealer handled the install pretty well. I like the apple CarPlay but think I’ve destroyed my lightning port on my phone to the point where it can’t transmit a signal anymore. Charges fine, but overall a solid vehicle by ford IMO.
Man what are the odds. I’m expecting my cactus gray maverick any day now, AND that’s my exact mtb. The Siskiu T8 in charcoal lol. Love the choices and great video!
I've been reading on Maverick forums that the Costco brand oil isn't up to to Fords specs. I believe it's based on LSPI (low speed pre ignition) requirements of turbo charged engines.
How well-suited is the Maverick for hills? When I go mountain biking in Washington State, I occasionally have to climb some really steep hills, and my CX-5 feels really underpowered.
I just got a 23 XL hybrid. Mine pull to the right when I give it some gas. Dealer said alignment is fine that it's tork steer! I also have a 22 hybrid for 16 months and never noticed it. My daughter took it to college 4 months ago so I can't test them side by side! Do you feel the tork steer?
Just curious, why not just use straps to handle bar and keep the bike standing up in bed? Feel like I’m missing something on why everyone uses the pad/tailgate method
It’s not a truck. It’s a car with a bed. It has no hauling or towing capability. It’s way over priced. And the dealers are making it even more over priced. Ford is not making many to keep the price inflated. So no thanks.
It has capable towing and hauling for the average user. It's not over priced. Compared to other trucks, it's affordable and low priced. It appears to me that you are just one of those Ford haters that felt the need to bash a Ford product.
Thanks for the comment. Also lol @ the original comment calling it overpriced. The average price of a new car is $48,000 yet the Maverick starts in the low 20's. It is literally one of the CHEAPEST new cars you can buy.

Have a 22 Mav Hybrid. Do the recall and Service Bulletins and you’re good to go. Amazing mileage. Smooth. Comfy. Average mileage: 45mpg.
Happy to hear yours has been good to you!
Miles on your car? And do you have the towing package?
@@earthquake69 hi. I have 14,ooo miles on the odometer . No tow package.
My '23 Mav Lariat Hybrid, bought in March, has been perfect. I get 45 MPG too. Eat your heart out big truck owners.
Enough 'truck' for 75% of truck owners.

Sorry to hear about your phone, maybe try getting a wireless CarPlay adapter.

No way! That is awesome!
Just wanted to add that I think you have a great voice for radio.
Thanks for the video. Been cross shopping a Maverick against a economy cars as a new daily. Informative. 👍🏾
So much practicality with the Maverick.

Thanks for the heads up. I am running Mobil 1, I just bought it through Costco for the good pricing.
Did you load your motorcycle yet? Wanted to see pics
Doesn’t that void the warranty when a guy does his own oil changes ? 🤔

Why do they not offer ford grabber maverick blue?
3000 miles would be slightly over a month for my commute alone.
what bed cover did you install?
Those are nice looking sunglasses.
Haha, thanks.
Solid video

That is the first I heard about a Hybrid model having torque steer. I don't experience torque steer in mine but I also have AWD.
Problem solved! Bad tire!
I have 23 xlt hybrid no torque steer.
Where do you recommend going for ford service centers in northwest Chicago burbs?
I've heard good things about Friendly Ford and Cucci Ford.

FX Series, Does it have Blind Side Mirrors?
It has mini mirrors within the side mirrors to act as blind spot mirrors. For true blind spot monitoring LED you need the Lariat trim.
I HAVE BLIND SPOT LED AND MINE ISNT THE LARIET TRIM. ITS AN FX4 @@FocusedGarage

2.0 AWD?
Boring. Didn’t show much of the truck.
10,000 mi review are you joking

Back up your comment Peter. What ya got ?
It can tow 4000 lbs. and haul 2000 lbs. Try to do that with your average "car"...
Someone should tell the DMV that so I don't have to pay extra for truck plates.
