    Update: after speaking to FordPass and Ford Customer service today, this situation was escalated to a supervisor and they bypassed the dealer and gave me the points anyways. This was because the FordPass rep got in contact with the dealer finally was told "we haven't punched that deal out yet, but we'll get to it". The dealer failed to give any ETA and FordPass didn't like that.

      You really need to get a lawyer man. You could totally take them to court for all of this junk that is happening to you

      As I said before. You look like a cross your T’s dot your I’s guy. File those complaints with your Consumer Protection Agency and State Attorney Generals office and be that pebble in that dealers shoe. Give it back to them like their doing you.
      I actually won a Lemon Law dispute and they bought my car car back. (Not at your dealer) I was told by the GM at the dealer that he had been in the car business 38 years and never saw someone win. He said my hats off to you young man😃

      It sounds like Ford did right by you but the dealer got away with their improper actions.

    Thank you for letting us know! We will do what we can to steer people away from that dealer. 👍 Honestly, this speaks poorly for Ford support as well. Why the heck can't Ford trump that stupid dealer and just give you the points? I may not even complete my Maverick purchase (if it ever comes in ).🙄

    I never got mine either in my fordpass app, bought a new maverick last summer. I spent this morning on chat with Ford and the fixed it and gave me 42k. Said they were missing sales info.

    Great videos !! I'm sorry you are having trouble with this Ford dealership... but there are so many bad dealerships out there it's a shame. As a Ford shareholder I am pissed off about all of this ...no wonder the stock has been terrible for the last many years.

    Lived in Huntley, Il., but never shopped at this dealership. Sorry for your pain. My suggestion....just have Ford put the points in your account. You have already proved to them that you are entitled to them.

    My dealer Gosch Ford here in So Cali was great. Sold ordered Mav Lariat for msrp. No add ons, no mark up. EZ done in 45 minutes out the door. And most of that time doing Ford pass. Yes, got my points. Didn't know about them. Guess use them for oil change. Found a great hard aluminum trim fold bed cover for $575 from Oedro on line. Great quality and fast shipping.

    Absolutely love Ford. But with these horror stories and over priced trucks. I might just go to Toyota this time around. You're not the only one to complain. Even about Chevy and Dodge. Seems like the least complaints are from Toyota.

    I’m glad we went with a Chevy Colorado instead of the Ford Maverick. I knew something was up when they kept changing my options. They kept slowly taking away the options for the same price. Screw Ford.

    I came across this after i just discovered my points missing. 42k went to a maintenance plan i never purchased. They did try to sneak it into my contract though

    Sorry your going through this.I purchased a 2023 Ranger Lariat 10 days ago.Had my Ford pass points within 4-5 days.Already ordered tonneau cover and bed mat.Already in .Keep us updated,hope you get straightened out.

      How did you order online!? I have ZERO options to use my points. They are there but when I checkout I don't see anything to use the points just asking for card info!

    This is giving me PTSD about what I went through in the early 90s with Pontiac. It was a lot harder to do this before the internet to help with research to find someone to contact at GM. I see it finally got resolved and that is great but you can not let up when they are cheating you like this and the more light you shed on it to ford upper management the better it will be for the other poor people that go to that dealer in the future.

    I have a feeling of the same deception s you are going through when my July arrival comes in after waiting 18 months. I think I will get these understanding s in writing before signing the purchase. Though by July, dealer new regulations and will be implemented.

    Ford made a huge mistake by selling off all interest in their dealerships. Ford has no leverage over them, other than refusing to deliver them new vehicles to sell, but that turns out to be detrimental to both the dealer and Ford, so that is very rare to see. They have threatened to do it, but I have never heard of Ford actually denying a corrupt dealer cars to sell. I personally would like to see manufacturers go to online sales, like the Tesla sales model.

    I'm eight months into waiting for a Maverick. Just got off the phone with the dealer. Great guys. They are going nuts. They're receiving cars with no notice from Ford and getting orders cancelled with no reason given. I think Ford is headed down the tubes? They can give me no update on my order and yet ford is opening the order banks up again in July. I'm just about done.

    Sorry you had to deal with that. We got 242,000 ford pass points for our Bronco. I did have to prove it to them by showing them the original email, but it was all taken care of.

    Same type thing like that happened to me someone didn't pick the vehicle up so they jacked it up an extra $4,000 got my fordpass points they disappeared but fortunately I had a good salesperson and she got on top of it and I got them back but it took so going back and forth I don't know if it's just me but trying to do online purchases it is trying to charge my card so I think I will be going into the store to do the purchase

    My sales person told me that he would give me $200 in Ford Points to help me out. I did not know that everyone gets them when you buy a new car. Well he was basically saying that he was giving me something that everyone gets for free. After we went back and forth, he scammed me. Bait and switch. I complained to his boss and Ford and they won’t do anything about it. I even have it on text.

    Dealerships are so manipulative and grimey. Just imagine how many people they have ripped off who are not as knowledgeable as you. Looking at that dealers inventory which may or may not be related to your purchase it seems they are focusing on trying to be an overpriced used exotic dealer and not a Ford dealer. Hopefully Ford will drop this dealer giving you all these issues

    I have looked at about 6 Mavericks on ford lots that are marked up at least $5,000. They all have a few thousand miles and considered used. I just have stopped going onto these lots. Their inventory can just rot……..One dealer had four, all starting at $35,000. Too bad.

    I’m assuming that is Huntley Ford in Illinois. I’ve had trouble like yours at a level much like yours. But not with them. File a complaint with the State Attorney Generals office and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Agency. I flood the offender with good agencies and bureaus that will act on my behalf. The offender will lie to them too but documentation is everything when you wish you did it down the road and you didn’t.

    Focused Garage, although your Ford buying experience has been pure hell; it's been a blessing to your subscribers/viewers. Keep those problems/issues coming. I want all dealerships eliminated and only have independent factory certified garages and have the customer deal as much as possible with the Factory about issues. Dealerships are mostly all scam artist. I have on order 3ea '23 Maverick Xl Hybrids. I did not know anything about the 42K Ford Pass Rewards Points. I forgot about using the Federal Trade Commission especially in your own state to report fraud on taxes, etc. Is the Buyer's Order Sheet or Purchase Order the same as a Sales Contract? In someone else's RUclips video, they said to include in the 'Buyers Order Sheet' , the words, 'No Add-On accessories on the Repair Order (RO) for the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and the Buyer will receive any manufacturer buyer incentives at time of delivery'. If you join the Farm Bureau for $20, does Ford Motor Co. still offer the $500 Special Private offer for being a Farm Bureau member and buying a new Ford vehicle? I may have to place another order on 17 Jul 23 for a 2024 Maverick if I receive no build date by 16 Jul 23. BTY, all previous orders seniority is out the window. Another screw job.

    Your first mistake was buying a Ford product that is already on the do not buy list. They generally don't fix the problems but they go through plenty of duct tape. Unfortunately, many dealers treat customers like suckers, mostly because that's a fact. They lure you in and hook you up well. For every savvy buyer, there are 10 suckers who do not question anything they sign and buy whatever the car dealer has to offer. That's why buying A vehicle from a lot of these unscrupulous Dealers is a challenge and even if you get a good deal, You can only hope your buy isn't a nightmare down the road. It's always after the handshake and signature that something so simple can become so maddening especially when they have your money in their coffers.

    I was a loyal Ford buyer for nearly 40 years. I buy cars. Ford stopped building them. I'm so sick of CUV's, SUV's, and trucks. I don't need any of them to make me look important. I wanted a small, fuel efficient CAR. No luck with Ford. I'm now with Hyundai. Good bye forever, Ford. Your boneheadedness has sent me looking to real companies that build car that people can afford. You'll never get me back. I'm so sorry this dealer treated you like that. My last new car that I had for 22 years before getting a Hyundai was a great Ford dealer at least with service. But I had to leave them because they have nothing I want to buy.
