- Hi everyone. Simon here. Long time no see. I haven’t posted any food or travel content since I left Japan, and found myself in a weird space for a long time.
But, hey, I finally made a food and travel video. I went to France recently, and got some fun footage of swimming with Fudgy in Lake Annecy, hiking with him in Montmin, and having some great French food with him as well, in Moulin du Gastronome, Clos de Sens, and a lovely guesthouse around Provence. I really enjoyed being creative again, and spent the last couple of weeks putting this video together, and I made something that I like that I wanted to share. I hope you like it too.
Posting this video has been a very exciting, but also deeply anxious experience for me. I’m not sure how much I’ll engage with the comment section here, because I’m very uncomfortable with violence in communication, and I don’t feel very safe with what I’m expecting to read here. I watched eat your kimchi from through my teenage years and into adulthood. I look up to both you and Martina as kind of like older cousins or just role models in general doing cool things. I want both of you to thrive. I want both of you to exist happily. From the perspective of a devoted fan I feel bad seeing two determined people both competing for the same platform. I would love to see you both branch out. Both of you are stellar human beings. I wanna see you both happy, much love!

@@shelleyscloud3651 My apologies, "competing" is too harsh. You can hear the hurt in Simon's voice from the hate comments. I feel for them. It can't be easy. And like you said. I would love to see them branch out and see them promote their own channels, personal projects, and accomplishments here for the fans to keep up. I just think it might be healthy to have some distance from a place that they built together. I want them both to thrive in ever new experience.

This video took me by surprise! To think I almost missed this candy! It was a wonderful, atmospheric and spiritual journey. I hope you and Fudgy-boy will have many more of them, and we, simple and well-meaning subscribers, will have more of your videos. We all missed you and worried, hoping that everything will be fine and one day we will see you happy, brave and positive.
At first, after such a break and everything you have experienced, it`s difficult, but over time you will be more and more confident in front of the camera again and open up to your viewers who have been supporting you all this time)
And... don't think about the haters - they are unhappy people. Just don't read the negativity and criticism. Only good words give energy and strength to do something good.

(Oh, and running with Fudgy was like flying the white dragon from The Neverending Story. It was cool!)
These two both have separate channels from this one, if any of you are looking for more content from either you should go explore their personal channels. Personally I see it as this channel is being used by both to kind of remind fans they still exist in other places and to promote new fans onto their separate channels and am personally down for that. Again both have their own channels and both use this one. As long as they aren't bad mouthing one another on this one, it's fine, I think they both have shown they don't intend to use this channel for any of that now. I know people remember this as a "couple channel" so they hurt seeing it used with the two separated but I think if we truly love these two we can accept they are happy apart and move on with them. Let's all move on together guys.

Simon, it is so good to see you back. This was such a lovely, wholesome adventure that brought a smile to my face. I loved seeing Fudgy braving the lake waters and his ears flapping up mountains tops, following these magical food experiences sprinkled in between, and hearing your storytelling once more. Waiting for more Fudgy road trips whenever you feel inspired.

Simon, this was a good video. I chuckled at the quirky ad-libs and Fudgy's reaction to things. I liked the Fudgy footage from the GoPro. It was refreshing to see France and French destinations without Paris. I would be VERY interested in pet-friendly travel videos as I don't see many of them on RUclips.This video is a step in the right direction. I enjoyed it!

The wisest and healthiest thing to do is move to a different channel and make this an archive for your past videos.
it seems like both parties get sponsors for this channel so while idealistic it's probably not possible
@@PigeonCarriere both parties should go to their own channels then after. They are both staying just to be stubborn and keep the audience that they rightfully earned, but I find it very strange from a fans point of view to have two creators that are separated share a channel. Once their sponsor contracts are over they should move on.
@@Andy_Kitsune What doesn't settle well for people is that Martina migrated to keep making similar content as EYK, but when Simon does similar content, it has to be posted here as it doesn't match his channel. The few videos that she posted here are very much in EYK style, feat. Martina. This one too, but feat. Simon. The frustation stems from that. If Simon wants to tackle videos similar to the older ones, he can't really use his channel, and shouldn't really use this one.
Looks like Martina has given up the channel to him, I think having Simon putting all this personal emotional stuff on the channel is too much for her and I don't blame her for not wanting to have to share space with that while she's trying to process her own emotions privately

Nice video from a very nice place. It always strikes me how people seek a relationship with their dog so similar to one they would have had with own children. It is sad in a way, so much love to give... And the end bit with "someone" walking a dog straight into a scene, was hilarious 😄
