Finally a video with precise instructions, in a pattern I like, and available in multiple sizes. I started teaching myself to crochet recently and I was able to follow your easy directions and they came out great! Thank you SO much for posting!
I haven't made this washcloth yet, but I wanted to tell you how helpful your sizing chart is. So many tutorials make their washcloths bigger than I need. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I’ve just done two single crochet dish clothes and not I’m going to do these to add to my collection. This was such a good video and you made it look so simple. Thank you ☺️
Love these, thank you so much for sharing. These will make great bridal shower gifts, wedding gifts and even baby shower gifts. Your tutorials are so easy to follow. HUGS, BJL
I'm looking for something simple I can do and relax. I wanted something open and yours looks very nice. I've been doing all single crochet but need a better looking pattern. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
In my opinion, this a nice combination of stitches, but to make an actual useful dishcloth, it should be advised that people crochet this very tightly. Also, that starting row needs to somehow adhere to the rest, rather than having the loose holes. When you use a dish cloth, they will sag and catch on things. Perhaps show how you put the border on the finished ones in the video? Thanks for the video!
Hello! Wondering how many chains would I have to make in order to make it even smaller? I was thinking of a kitchen scrubby with this pattern....any help would be awesome, Thanks in advance!
Hi .. just a beginner here and so if I understand correctly .. when you are finishing row 1, you don't chain 1 before making that double crochet in the turning chain? and every time you do row 1 you include that double crochet in the turning chain ? thanks
Love this tutorial it is very easy to follow along, but you stopped and expect us to follow written pattern:-( now I can't finish because for the life of me I can't follow written instructions. Could you possibly do a tutorial of the extra small from start to finish PLEASE?
You don't have to have the written pattern to finish. Just repeat row 2 and row 3 until it is the height you want. If you need to replay the video over and over for each row, do that. She shows how to finish at the end. :)
Dumb Question! But I'm hoping someone can answer! i made this for my 2 year only son and it has become his "blankie". i wanted to make a bigger one (i made the Lg 34 ch) i want to double the size so would i just chain 68??? i graphed the pattern out and it looked like 66 chain stitches, but i am new to crochet. Any help would be great thank you!
If you use acrylic yarn it will not absorb the water, it repels it. So to make a dishcloth absorbent use 100% cotton yarn. I really like Sugar N Cream brand yarn for dishcloths.
What sizes and colors will you make? Share below! 🌸

What yarn and colours did you use? If I wanted to make a blanket do you have a formula for working out how many stitches to use? Thank you.

Is there anyway to put a border around the sparkling clean dishcloth or is it supposed to not have a border?

Hello,

I figured out how to put a border on but, somehow my stitch is off by 1/2 inch on every one I make. What am I doing wrong?
Can I use this pattern to do the dish towel also. This way I can have the dishcloth and have the dish towel to match.
Stephanie Johnson yes
hi there - how many rows did you make each of the sizes ?
thanks for the tutorial
Your yarn is always so nice! I am sorry to be a pain, but what brand of yarn is this in the video. I bought creme de la creme and I hate it.
No worries! I am happy to share. :) The yarn I used is Lily Sugar 'n Creme in "Hot Purple "Hot Pink" "Key Lime Pie" and "Mod Blue" Hope that helps!
I also dislike the crème de la crème.
