    Hi
    I finally finished Riyria Revelations and since the video says spoilers will be for those I decided to watch. But I was dumbfounded it contained a quote from another book (haven't read that one yet) and I consider that a spoiler :(
    Do your other videos go like this? If there are quotes that should be disclosed. Good stuff though

      Oh shoot! You are totally right. I always try to disclose spoilers at the beginning of the videos, but I completely missed I included a quote from Age of Empyre in this video and didn't add a spoiler tag for it. I added a card to the spoiler section of this video now. Sorry about that :(

    You should do videos recapping each book in Ryira and Legends!!! It would be awesome! I want to read Noland but I cant remember the other series well anymore it's been so long!

      I could definitely do that. I wonder if they would be too different from the videos where I recap the movements (Where in Elan series).

    This was a lot to absorb while reading, so this recap is fantastic, thank you!

    There's some new, depressing context to that whole mystery night, thanks to Farilane. Might be worth revisiting in the future!

      Yeah! I loved how Sullivan was able to weave in that tiny detail of the timeline of events so many years later.

    Thank you for what you do!!! This is my favorite series…..but I’m confused….so Royce is related to Persephone?

    • @riyriaexplained
      @riyriaexplained  3 года назад +1

      Yep! Royce is the distant descendant of Persephone. My "Lineage of the Heir of Novron" video goes through what we know of the lineage from Nyphron/Persephone to Royce. (Though that video needs 1 additional name, now that Nolyn was released.)

    How do we find out that Arcadeus visited the midwife and that she left Royce on the street? Is it only from Turins promise to Persephone or is it also somewhere in the original books?

    But Royce didn't have the amulet then! How was Arcadius able to find Royce?

    • @riyriaexplained
      @riyriaexplained  4 года назад +4

      Good question! When Arcadius discovered the "tomb of Yolric" he learned a method to locate the heir. This method is completely different from what Esrahaddon is doing when locating the amulet. Arcadius' method directly locates the heir, which is how he is able to locate Royce. We don't know any more of how Arcadius learned this far superior method, other than he found the "tomb of Yolric." I do have a theory of who taught him (my theory is that is was not Yolric), but perhaps we will learn more in the upcoming "Rise and Fall" series, since Yolric is a major character during that time period.

    After reading "Farilane," I don't think it was Arcadius who told anyone where to find the heir. Or he did for good, or but Turin had something to do about it because...... spoiler warning ⚠️

      Definitely agree that the whole scenario was most likely orchestrated by Turin. I am guessing Arcadius definitely could have given up the location, but it would have been because of the events that Turin put in motion. The one part about this what I am really hoping we learn more about in future books is the whole "tomb of Yolric" that Arcadius was said to have visited.

      @Riyria Explained The tomb is what I am looking forward to. If Yolric is Trilos. I am not 100% sure they are the same person. Yolric line about wanting to see the invisible hand and wanting to see his face, we get from Arista flash back didn't feel like line from person who hates this "invisible hand(Turin)" person with every fiber of their being. But a more of a curiosity of who the invisible hand is/was.
      You realized how close it was to the Horn destroying itself that night, right? If the first baby lived past his father death, just minutes. Just minutes. One of those babies had to die, just like Farilane.
