I see In your videos that you are working at different types of bench tops. Is the green one a laminate made by Mastercraft? And how does it compare to solid wood top?
Joel - I like the micro ball idea. But I'm wondering if it is sufficient to do a hammer/nail setting for thick bezel, and gives me both hands free. Doesn't it move on you while you're tapping?

The grs ball vise is great, but only if you have a gravermach and a microscope. For the common folks like me I stick with the Benchmate 🤗

What is the brand name of smallest vice you are using. Sounds like syonset ball. Would appreciate it

Just have to make sure its braced properly and its good.
