  • We sailed the Carnival Jubilee on January 20-27, 2024. We stayed in cabin 14506. This is a tour of that room made up for five people. The cabin has a separate living room and bedroom. Huge walking shower with wand, rain shower and body jets. A large balcony with dining space, lounging space and it even has a jetted tub. The views are of the aft of the ship and wrap around to the side of the ship as well. This is a cabin worth encountering.

    Great video Mr. Covert, could you tell me how you were able to book the suite? Did you call Carnival direct or did you need to go through a Travel Agent? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

      This cabin, we booked directly on the Carnival website. Since booking this cabin we have used a Personal Vacation Planner (a Carnival employee). We have tried in the past to work with a travel agent and have never gone through with those trips.
      The website is user friendly and easy to navigate.

    Does the deck get alot of sun? We sometimes like to lay out but it appears covered above.

      There was always a spot that had some sun. There is a solid 8 feet in the back that is exposed, but along the side it is full cover.

    Any issues with AC keeping the room cold?

    • @cruisenfamily5
      @cruisenfamily5  Месяц назад

      Yes. The whole room depends on circulation between the bathroom, living room and bedroom. At night we wanted doors closed, but the AC would respond appropriately, making it warmer in the bedroom than we were hoping for. We figured out what we needed to do, but it was a little frustrating.
      We still had a great cruise, but definitely something to know before you book.

      @@cruisenfamily5 what is the trick to figuring out how to keep the room cool?

      Keep the interior doors open for circulation

    This is our exact room! Thank you. Can you tell me if it was loud, being on top of summers landing? We were worried about the noise. Also, is the outdoor tub actually hot or is it just a whirlpool?

    • @cruisenfamily5
      @cruisenfamily5  5 месяцев назад

      There was no issues of Summer’s Landing noise. If you were on say deck 9/10 then maybe, but not this cabin.
      The water gets scolding hot if you add just hot. It is very much like a whirlpool though because there are no heating elements to keep the water hot like in a hot tub.
      We hope you enjoy your cruise, please if you have other questions, ask away!

    Will they put the beds up during the day?

    • @cruisenfamily5
      @cruisenfamily5  5 месяцев назад +1

      They did not for us. I saw another YT with 5 in the cabin and they said the same thing. It was definitely a bummer because although the room is a “living room” it never really appeared that way. Having the large balcony was definitely a plus, with that considered.

    Just got off the Jubilee and this suite. TBH, rather disappointed. The room space layout was good. However, it was not clean and looked very worn. The furniture inside and out was stained. Smudges of something on the walls. Residue running down the bathroom doors, didn't even want to guess. Pointed these things out to the steward, his response was, "I'm sorry, i tried to clean the furniture the best i could," and that was it. I don't mind paying, but i expect to get what i pay for. Overall, the service throughout the ship was lackluster. The atmosphere was blah. The ship was not full. Many passengers discussed similar dissatisfactions. Went to guest services twice, and each time, I was told someone would contact me. I disembarked this morning and heard from no one. Side note, the Galveston port is a mess. Yea, it's got a nice new paint job, but functionality is awful.

      Thanks for sharing your experience. The rooms and ship need to kept up or it will deteriorate. Disappointing that no one followed up with you
