I thinks the Serena topic it´s a central one in tennis, the fact that she is faraway yet so close to reaching number 24 BUT this clip is supposed to be a rewind of... KERBER´S VICTORY and all what the three commentators are talking about is Serena and i find that quite disrespectful for someone of Kerber´s caliber. Kerber beat Serena, Serena didn´t loose against her, she had beaten her before and she had played her really tough in the 2016 final, so they could have expand a bit more on that. The 2018 final was a jewel performance by Kerber who gave a master class on court coverage, switching defense to attack, counterpunching at is best and mental strenght. That being said, it would defently be interesting to have the ladies play 3 out of 5 in the slams as i do agree the very best would strive.

I don't think that Serena will ever reach 24. Wimbledon has been cancelled this year, and I have a feeling that the US Open will be also. So next year, she will be near 40 years of age without match play for over a year. Players now can hit consistently, with power and precision. Serena can hit with power and precision, but is not consistent if her opponent can stay with her from the baseline. Serena will usually be the first one to make an error. She created the current power game, and is now the victim of it.
Any Match Serena William's plays from ages 22 till 39 The match is Always on her racquet at this point its Mental.. and Now people see what Venus William's Has struggled with for many years, Losing matches that she Should have won .. once they are able to mentally dig deep and let go of the outside pressure itll happen. People tend to forget that Serena isn't like a normal Tennis Player, she is a mogul, she has SO Much going on, it may be hard to focus on what her end goal is, she has made it to multiple Major Finals, so that tells me the Game is definitely there and she is capable of winning the match, executing is now what she needs to do.. 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Serena will be too fat and slow when tennis resumes again....she will lose earlier and earlier in rounds and will retire at 23 GS!! End of story.
