OMG Alexandra I really love this so much. I love that you're not forcing beliefs of having to be a specific gender on your unborn baby. I love that everything is organic and natural. The colors are perfect. I love the convertible furniture. Side note to people commenting: Seriously, stop giving her advice about where her baby should sleep/how her baby should sleep/what she does with her child. Seriously. While SIDS is a real risk, co-sleeping is not a bad thing. I chose not to co-sleep with my daughter consistently and that's exactly what it was- a CHOICE. I have close friends who CHOSE to co-sleep with their children because it works for them. At the end of the day, what works for her is what's best for her and her child. It's also such a fluid decision. She may decide that she doesn't want to co-sleep if she finds her child is doing fine without co-sleeping. She may co-sleep for a few months and then decide to do differently. On the contrary, some mother's who do not want to co-sleep end up doing so because it's what they have to do to get some sleep themselves.
To Alexandra: Do what works best for you! I'm sure you plan on it, but people will offer all kinds of advice based on what they did or their mom did or their sister's boyfriend's aunt did. Every baby is SO different. Just do what works best for you and your family. So much love to you!

The crib turns into a bed? The basonette turns into a desk?! LOVE IT! So practical, and uses less material and transport to update the baby's room as he/she gets older...just awesome

Super peaceful and tranquil two things a baby needs. Such a blessing for you. I love being a mother, mine is 20 but I still remember the long nights breastfeeding, rocking him to sleep and singing and listening to classical music. Enjoy your many new adventures.❤️
Most deaths in babies are caused when the parents choose to put the newborn to sleep beside them. The baby needs instant air flow and it is quiet hard when it is beside 2 adults. Also the parents might accidentally turn over on the baby or blanket falls on the face.😢 P.S the nappy bin is the worst the room will constantly smell like poop! Hahaha
WhatIs ACupcake and so are the other babies that have died from Infant Death Syndrome. All parents try to take care of their baby but then they may do what Alexandra said and put them to sleep near them and something fatal may happen. God Forbid
When we co-slept with our babies, we bought a "bed" that went on between us. It had mesh sides so no issues with breathing and it stayed put. It was especially nice for when I breast fed because the baby was right there and then we were done, baby went back to sleep beside us with no worries. I don't have a clue what it was called or who made it (it was a while ago), but we could also bring it with us to hotels (who brings a crib to a hotel really) and also if the baby fell asleep while feeding in the living room. We would pop that thing lengthwise down the couch and there was no way the baby could roll off or anything. I see parents laying their babies on the couch for a nap with no little cot to protect them and that makes me shudder. If I can find it on Google and get the name of it and who makes it, I will repost :) It was a great thing to have :)

I have lots of the same storage as you!! All of the storage solutions from 3 Sprouts are so cute! My kids aren't babies anymore but it's not just cute for babies, it's cute for older kids too. I have 4 of the storage cubes under each of their beds and it's so nice to be able to just pull a box out and stow away things. I also have the canvas storage bags and let me tell ya....they are enormous. You can use them for stowing stuffies, toys or even use it has a hamper. You can pull it along the floor instead of breaking your back lugging a pile of laundry or carrying a heavy basket. The room looks beautiful :) Nurseries should be kept simple and clean. The more stuff, the more dust, etc and that's not good for baby. BTW, congrats on Baby Alonzo! He's gorgeous!! But how can he not be, look at you!! :)

What a beautiful nursery!!! I did my son's nursery with neutral colors too. Now that my husband and I are thinking about having another, we can use most of the same stuff again for baby#2. Congratulations on your little peanut!

I'm really glad to hear you're nursing the baby! It can be a rough start, maybe the 1st week or 2 but try to stick with it. Laying in bed, snuggled up to your baby, while they're eating is such a great feeling. Once you get into a routine it's easier to plan outings. I recommend writing down what side & how long at least for the 1st month or so. You will be very exhausted & it can be a challenge remembering, which helps keep the milk flow equal.

my daughter slept in her crib since day one. BUT I was the one who was like I WANT HER IN BED WITH ME LOL so after her first yet she was with me hahaha she's two now and she's the cutest cuddler.

Some advice- try not to put your baby in bed with you because although it sounds silly you actually risk suffocating it. I know some one is going to come along and say that I'm lying or it's unlikely but honestly,search it up it's quite common

Be careful about sleeping with your baby! It is perfectly natural and fine, but take precautions and research it! Have the baby on your side and not your partner's side of the bed. Keep a lining of blankets around them so they are safe. So many tragic stories happen when people don't sleep with their baby properly!! Much love and excitement for you!!

Super cute room but I want to say something. You do not want to be in the same room when your baby is sleeping, they get to attached to you and if you leave they will start crying and won't stop or sleep until you stay in the room. Also in the beginning I recommend not having the baby sleep with you in your room because it will be very hard for them to orient their selves when they have to sleep in their own room.

As a young mother myself, I can honestly say breastfeeding my daughter was the best thing I've ever decided to do. I know a lot of young mothers chose formula over breast feeding but it's so comforting and the bonding is incomparable. Also, the swaddle sack by sleepsack is a legitimate lifesaver! You should look into it!
I never want kids but seeing the nursery makes me wna be a momma. Smh.

I love your baby's room! I'm a new mom to a beautiful 4 month old son and i can totally relate to you wanting everything organic. I was the same. I did notice you had wipes from the honest company, and I just wanted to let you know that their diapers still contain the petrochemical SAP in them. They are mostly plant based and are free of chlorine and fragrances, but I did feel that you should know that they still contain SAP, which is what makes all absorbent diapers, well, absorbent. There are other options though that are truly organic and free of everything, like the Bamboo Nature brand that I'm going to switch to on my own little one. I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I know you probably won't read this but if you were to have any questions I'm here :) You're gonna be a wondeful mommy. Best of luck to you and your boyfriend, and if you can make any videos of your mommy life I would love to watch them! :)

If you're doing everything organic cloth to stay away from chemicals, you should definitely look into cloth diapers!!
My son is 2 next month and has never had a rash. Ever. They are safe on the skin, are echo friendly and will save you a bunch of money.
I would love to see a video on pregnancy wardrobe/fashion. Where did you get your pregnancy clothes from and how you style it etc. I know a lot of women always tend to go for their husband's clothes when they're pregnant and i find that to be a big no no.
