you should put the mods you cover into nexus collections I'd like to have everything you recommend in one
I use it and I recommend it
I'm the mod author of Elven Ears for Breton NPCs!
Thank you so much for the showcase :)
I love your mod, but I always was wondering if anyone would make a more cohesive Breton appearance overhaul, making the NPCs match the aesthetic style shown in Oblivion's strategy guide. I really liked their fae-like appearance.
Fantastic work , thanks for the cool mod :))
thanks for this mod I been enjoying this a lot I was annoyed that Bethesda left this key feature out for Bretons. I didn't even know Coronach was a Breton till now
Thank you so much! I play a Breton character and this is very welcome visual enhancement for them! Thank you for your work!
dude such a simple mod that makes such a big difference. I always thought it was strange how Imperials, Bretons and Nords have basically looked the same since Daggerfall.
I wasn't expecting a mod like Valenwood anytime soon it looks great and reminds me of Moonpath to Elswyer, but with more detail since with ESO we have a idea of what landmarks and creatures are there
This channel saved my hopes for elder scrolls 6, the modding community should save it even if Bethesda kills it
That's always been part of their design that modding will fix it
Vanilla Skyrim has bad graphics, dull quests and NPCs, bad combat bad stealth and so, so many bugs and other issues.
I've spent 100s of hours in Skyrim, modders have made it excellent and it's one of my favourite games.
Just be prepared to wait a decade before ES6 gets really good.
Although it pains me to buy Bethesda games. I know that some of the talented mod authors out there need our endorsements. Sometimes their portfolio of work gets them their dream job.
I don't think it's an issue of "if", but more of they have killed it. They won't even give us any info after all these years. I'm through wasting my time waiting on their empty promises. To me they rate up there with Acti-Blizz and how they destroyed a solid mmo and screwed players. Modders hold and show the passion to push Skyrim further and further.
As the saying goes, "the real Elder Scrolls 6 is the mods we made along the way."
Undead snow elves, now thats a mod that should be included in a Snow Elven dungeons mod. Always felt weird that Skyrim was their home, but the only ruins are in the Forgotten Vale.
Well that’s probs cus the Nords absolutely abolished them all and they hid in the Forrgotten vale from both the Dwemer and Nords. Don’t forget they all got enslaved by the dwarfs aswel💀.
Mihail is the primary reason I got back into Skyrim. His mods just fit so well, adding creatures that fit naturally into the world of the Elder Scrolls, whether they be lore friendly or from other fantasy games ❤
I thought the Matrix Sentinels and Bioshock Big Daddy reskinned as dwarven were a bit much but the rest has been really good.
@@101Mant Okay maybe some don’t fit as neatly but they are interesting interpretations. Oh don’t get me started on those Dwarven sentinels. I hate them with a passion 😂
Yeah Mihail is like a daedric prince. Daedric prince of creatures and monsters 😂
@@Hasbola1709 All Hail Prince Mihail. Lord of Fauna and Monsters
The necrophages mod is so good
Me This Morning: "I finally finished my new Skyrim mod list! Time to actually play the game!"
Heavy Burns: "Welcome Back to-!"
Me Now: "Ah sh**, here we go again..."
Why not add mods while you are playing? I'm still on my first playthrough of skyrim and I just add mods as I'm going through with the game no need to start a new charcter for every mod you add.
@@cratoss.4772 Some mods require a new game but my original post was more about how I spent the last 2 weeks building my load order and now I have to check it again.
Don't misunderstand though, this is a happy problem for me to have and I really look forward to whenever there's a new Skyrim mods video! XD
@@cratoss.4772 adding mods halfway through your play through is not good practice lmao
@nooooo but most mods are safe no,if they are not the authors are often kind enough to say that it isn't in the description. Besides most of the mods I add are creature or weapon mods all of which are more often than not safe to add mid playthrough. All of mikhails mod I added mid playthrough and I've yet to run into a problem, besides it certainly beats obsessing over ones load order instead actually playing the game I swear some people are too autistic for their own good smh😪. If it works it works.
@@cratoss.4772 i added like 300 and thought I was ready and then I added like 150 more midway through I don’t get a single ctd. As long as you read the descriptions and aren’t downloading whatever willy nilly then it should be fine
Love all the mods showcased. The EldenRoot looks sooo interesting. Would love to try these mods out. Amazing video as always
Thanks man! Yeah elden root was a suprise how big it was , defiently worth a look :))
@@HeavyBurns can’t wait for your next showcase! :)
Technically, the Udryfrykte was also in Oblivion, but it had 100% chameleon for some reason, so Bloodmoon was still the last time we SAW it. (except that one in the dark brotherhood questline in skyrim)
Something so cozy when seeing so many minor yet immersive mods on display
Another correction @Heavy Burns , this is for the Mod that on your screen you show is spelled as ELDENROOT, however if you type it in as you showed you will find a different mod called ELDENROOT - Simple Lush Trees. The correct spelling is Elden Root - A Tale of Valenwood. If you space isn't put in, you won't find the correct mod.
I really hope the Elden root mod has compatibility/Synergy with song of the green, even if it’s just an update to the latter. Auri Might be considered an apostate, but it’d be nice to be able to take her home again. If it’s not a thing now I do hope it’s added in the future
I really hope we see AI used to vastly expand NPC dialogue and interactions to be on par with Morrowind, where your characters deeds, race, factions and maybe even background and abilities has a strong impact on how you interact with the world, except 100% voiced. It’s already being used in some mods and while not perfect, if far more flexible then the splice method that’s restricted modders from expanding existing characters and quests for so long.
I agree
With A.I like that you can add the player's voice to the game dude
@@BlackStar-hy1iy They already did that, look up Skyrim voiced protagonist.
Thanks for including my Druid's Hut!
I recognized that style immediately, and figured it was either yours or someone you okayed to use those assets. Looks great ❤️😁
Elden Root, brilliant mod looks like it's from ESO.
these all look amazing!! several of these mods i hadn't seen or heard of yet, much appreciated for you showing them all
also thanks for showcasing my mod Kalnn (vampire's hobbit hole) btw! 🖤
I cant stop modding skyrim and I Never get to play it because your awesome videos wont let me😂
My steam says I have 800+ hours between Oldrim and SE.. at least half of that is mod switching and testing. I haven't "finished" the game in years but I play it at least once a month.
The videos on this channel feel like actual short films like The Alchemist. Incredible what an old engine can achieve with some new meshes, textures and obiously the nice cutting and edititng of the footage. Aside from the ads (I know it's neccessary) the videos are masterpieces.
Bogmort is so good, they add so much to the marshes
thanks heavy! i’ll definitely be installing some of these
Amazing video with stunning scene editing skills as usuals, love it!
I'm really glad elden root was included, the auther seems to be very excited about their own project so this might give se exposure to them.
Uderfrykte was also in Oblivion high in the mouintains !!
I’m still surprised the first few frames is still Skyrim!! :]
100% going to get the Elven Ears for Bretons mod and I can't wait to try out that Valenwood. It looks beautiful!!
I mean most of these mods have a tiny amount of downloads because they haven't been updated in years and some even have crashes and bugs, like the last one.
Uderfrykte was last seen in Oblivion though
Hope you're doing well Heavy.
Doing great thanks buddy! Hope you're well too :))
really loved the "into"
Amazing mods, especially the Valenwood one! I just wish th Vampire Falmer had armor on lol.😅
Absolutely love your intro, editing, etc. basically i really like your channel and your style. Keep at it champ!
Thank you for this nice showcase video.
have you done a "best mod combos" style video where you showcase mods that are good when paired together?
Ooooooo! There are a lot of mods here I want to try out! Thank you for showcasing these! Time to mess up my load order!
Damn, that hobbit hole probably cost $2,500 a month on rent
Love this kind of content. MOAR!
The flies one is very hit or miss on the immersion as I would be very unimmersed seeing flies around a frozen corpse in a negative 0 degree place
Another great showcase burns. Will be taking some of these fasho.
2:40 I wish I was this thrall
The Undead and Vampire Falmer are very thematic and imo lore friendly to what we know about what went down in the Vale.
Such an amazing list Friend 🤘
Do you have a mod order list for loading the mods?
Hi, I have a question you might be getting a lot, but how did you make your skyrim look so... crisp? Is it just 4k textures everywhere, or perhaps what mod and enb you use for lighting? I'm trying to recreate something like it in VR and so far I've achieved only solid 27 fps in riften...
your intro is always on point
Another great vid highlighting the talented modders that keep this game alive. As our friendly Riften Dumer says "Thank you. I really appreciate all you've done for me."
Really like the look of Eldenroot. Personally, all the vampire mods (including warebeast and zombie) are just too much crossover. You know, sometimes less is more. So I'll stick to those interesting expansions of men, mer and environment. Though it's good to see wonderfully designed mods for those that want vampires, etc. They are in the game afterall, so whatever floats your boat, right?
Uderfrykte is last seen in Oblivion on a mountain top ;)
I truly appreciate your videos ,one helped greatly to tackle the reluctance to attempt modding, the ModManager2 guide, that I followed spicificly as best as I could, even enjoyed the overwhelming changes to Skyrim AE,_at first I was worried I did somethin wrong, yet managed to play the AE of Skyrim a bit modded-[your imageries of MM2 and mine never matched-best I know?]I supplied 2 screenshots__ I discoverd how to install mods to Que the Box,like you shown--then I got the pop ups-and have been playing from Stream-waiting to see if this occurance IS on them, and they will fix it,or if it's what I did ? Can You help me out,if you can? THANKS ,Shan...
When i enter valenwood , and i walk around , theres a point when it crashes , always at the same area near the start , how can i fix it to explore the area?
I have to correct you on this @Heavy Burns but you said accurately reflect when it came to the Elven Ears for Breton NPCs. Sorry but there is nothing in the lore books of any Elder Scrolls Game that states that Bretons have such ears. No TES game has ever shown this as well. That means that Bretons are represented correctly until Bethesda states otherwise. Its wrong to use such phrases as accurately reflects when it in fact does not. Its a FAN interpretation of what they think and that is the more accurate phrase to use. Just because games like Dungeons and Dragons for example since they started this whole RPG genre in the USA and Europe to begin with, make Half-Elves with shorter slightly pointed elven ears to reflect their half elf blood line doesn't mean it will be the same in ever fantasy world setting nor does it have to. Bethesda's Elder Scrolls world has many things similar to D&D while also being very different as well. For example in TES we have no real Dwarves, our Dwarves are really the Dwemer which are just different Elves. The Bretons are more human in appearance but have instead some magical resistance and are slightly better at magic then their other human counterparts and that is just fine for me. I'm not saying folks shouldn't use this mod, we are all free to interpret the game as we like in our play throughs, its what mods are for. I just didn't care for the "accurately reflects" phrase when I know my TES lore well and visit UESP often enough to remind myself on things when I got the free time. Also that mod in question can cause some minor compatibility issues with other companion overhaul mods as stated on the mod page under the compatibility section -> "This mod can be used with other NPC mods as well, I use it with Bijin AIO and Dibella's Blessing, but manual patching might be required for best consistency. (I had to disable the ears for 2 NPCs that were edited by Dibella's Blessing.)".
What enb + reshade makes this colors in ur game its amazingly colorful
Flies around corpses sounds like the name of an argonian scavenger😂
Does anyone know if theres a modlist that has many of the mods HB showcases? Dont have the spare time to manually download all of em
Thank you for the great content.
Wha ENB are you using, love it
Bretons have a very small amount of elven ancestors they’re not quite half elves but more like 95% human 5% elf
Btw why ther is a Kennedy speech in your intro?
I have been playing Skyrim for 5 years now and I did not know trolls had three eyes in vanilla Skyrim
Uderfrykte was in oblivion too
Eldenroot looks golden. Wow
What tree mod(s) make your morthal marsh look so good!?
Enjoyed the Marvel-esque opening. Kudos!
Bretons don't have elf ears because it's a super rare trait, like horns on Bosmer.
Thank you for the video
We Eldenroot we now have a new region to explore, there was moonpath to elsweyr, Hammerfell with grey cowl of nocturnal, Solstheim. Geebus
How dou you make the cinematic shots in your videos???????????????????????????
Book of Creed by Monitor144hz.
Its Patreon sub at the moment but when paired with all the sneak/ai/crime mods, master of disguise and using them with Paraglider, it essentially ports all mechanics from basically every Assassin's Creed game to Skyrim as Book of Creed finally adds AC style Assassinations!
Now we just need mountain climbing for normal, Conan Exiles/Tomb Raider style climbing and also has Prince of Persia/AC style parkour built in. After that modding Skyrim pretty much done.
There is an udulfrik matron in oblivion
Ive been using Opera GX for a while now. It's by far the best browser I've ever used. It also has a VPN mode and a homepage with news about games. The sound it makes when you type is also really nice.
Please tell us which fantastic graphical mods you used to enhance the visualization!
I'm having a issue when I last played skyrim it was working fine but after not playing it for a few months I thought I'd give it a go and it would load me in but my character was missing there head and would not save any of the looks for my character and now when I try load the game it won't load on to the main menu it's just stuck on infinite load anyone know how to fix this?
THE best hidden gems videos out there.
Thank you good sir
The Uderfrykte was in oblivion at dive rock. Just saying 👀
Argonian companion mod “flies around corpses”
Man i need a werewolf home
"SKYRIM MODS I NEVER WANT TO PLAY WITHOUT" *bretons have pointy ears now* "I CANNOT EXPERIENCE SKYRIM WITHOUT THESE MODS" *flies*
How in Arkay did that Elden Root mod fly under my radar?! I've been looki g for a mod like that for so long, it's really cool! Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'd like to try it out when I can!
i'm really looking forward to the ai npc mod using gpt to come out
I'd kill for an Elder Scrolls game based in Valenwood, ESO just doesnt cut it
Anyone know what graphic mods he is using, thanks!
That feeling when the burns are heavy or smth I don’t watch his videos:
If elder 6 don't have mods, I will be upset! Thank you to all the mods community for giving us so much fun and graphics overhaul! Skyrim can now look like it's only come out this year! Honestly I want mods to keep coming!
Nice!
best modding community out there.
El Sopa... That is the gangster. The mods he makes are MINT
Don't mind me. Appeasing the algorithm. Thank you for your hard work.
Hmm i think the only one i could really see myself ever installing is the vampire home
i mean after lotd ...do we need another player home?
At this point Skyrim is the mod.
The mods are the actual game
Wth I came to play mods and there's this skyrim thing in my game
1. Are all of the mods in your list compatible with AE?
2. Is "Ears for Bretons" compatible with High Poly Head?
killer intro
My barbarian dragonborn will get more enemies to crush!
Honest question! I just started playing Skyrim after over 5 years since last time I played, and found out about the Mods (shocker, I know). Can I implement the Mods into an already existing Saved Game, or do I have to start a new Character for them to implement?
On ps5 what the modes called please
I love playing Skyrim on PS5 but some of the mods and the ability to use console commands (for when the game glitches *again*!) make me wish I could have some of the PC features.
Pirate overhaul?!
You never want to play Skyrim without turning a troll into a Razer gaming headphone?
cool thing i use opera GX too cool brows
er
Isn’t eldenroot part of ESO?
Bloatflies are a Fallout thing, those are just regular flies
