I've driven these Silverado and they worth the money. They have a great interior that makes them enjoyable to drive.
I enjoyed reviewing this one! Congrats on 1 million! HUGE accomplishment
That is really awesome mean!
Defiantly not $58,000. close to $74,000 MSRP with diesel and leather. Just ordered a Gas without leather and a good number of options, and it stickered at $62,600. Final price was $56,600 with GM discount. Enjoyed the video.
I laughed when he said that. Not even CLOSE. Even with the gas option that's a 65K truck.
Yeah ain’t NO WAY that’s 58k, base LT 1500 z71 is around that price
What GM discounts did you get? Where did you buy yours?
@@joshhaywood0915 He is talking about the GM Employee discount. Like the Ford A plan.
How long did your order take?
Hi Joe. Great Job on the review. I just picked up my 2024 HD2500 LTZ. What a truck. Mine is the Radiant Red Tincoat with the interior Gideon / Very Dark Atmosphere Interior. It is a Two Town Tan Interior . The contrast with the Red Radiant Interior is Awesome. I got the two LTZ Convivence Packages.
The 20inch Chrome Wheels , and the running boards with the tonteau cover. Total was $71,510.00.
I am really happy with the performance , ride , and the comfort level. I have only 600 miles on it so far. My last truck was a 2006 2500HD. That is an awesome truck. I still have that truck. I got the 6.6 Gas engine. I really like the Allison Trans 10 speed with this truck. I just towed my Classics car with my car trailer. No problem towing . I would rate it a 10 out 10 . Thanks you Joe and Lorri
Congratulations on your 1M subs, you & Lory genuinely deserve it
they dont deserve it,
they earned it thru making entertaining content,
show biizness is not about fair, or deserve or none o that.
its about getting lucky, and also having that IT factor, and being able to capture an audience
"Get rid of the socks because you got the bulge right there." LOL!!! Ordered a 2024 2500HD yesterday. Excited to get it!
Nicely Done!
lovely video. As usual Joe and Lori. Take care. I was 2 years old and rocking back in 1969!
Another epic video Joe!!!! Thanks for all that you do!!!!
Ahhh yes. Pickups are my favorite Raiti episodes
Awesome video!! Congrats on one million subs also Joe! You rock!
Thank you so very much man! You are the best!
Joe, you always have very informative and fun reviews.
Love the content and consistency Joe!
(Edit): original comment was for a typo in title

You are the best Matt!
Joe you’re making all of us feel large and in charge! My setup would be a red or a white. And good luck steven
this truck looks badass
Truck's so big it has its own ZIP code.
You better believe it!
Like my wife’s ass
Joe, I lost how many times in this video that you had me laughing out loud. Great work.
Wishing you the best Steven! Poker player, eh? That takes smarts and intuition. 👍.
congrats on the 1million subscribers 👏
How are the seats? Do they have more padding than the previous years? My 2020 seats are hard as a rock and small
Great video. But you're wrong on the price. A base model LT with the 6.6 gasser and a few extra options is around $58K. This particular vehicle is going to be closer to $73-74K.
Not in Virginia 56k starting at custom
@@briankelly562 I just ballparked it, I just knew it was in the mid to high 50s.
$ 73,334 duramax, leather, LT, crew cab. That is listed price on mine. Lots of extras on it.
Joe and Lori and Steve and keep up the good work and I love the video 👍 💯💯💯💯
Just bought a new 2024 2500 Silverado HD LTZ. It’s nice!
My wife and I are currently in an '03 Silverado 1500HD. We primarily use it to pull a 27' (32', external) bumper-pull toy hauler, with a 950# Harley in back. Our Chevy HD has the structural capacity to pull the loaded trailer, but the engine really struggles on hills. It'll pull up a hill, but will do it slowly. Preamble over... we have decided that as a retirement present to ourselves that we're going to get into a 3/4 ton HD, that'll easily pull our current rig while still allowing growth into a somewhat larger rig in the future (probably a fifth wheel). I've been trading diesel vs gas (both V8 aspirated and V6 turbo). I'm actually kind of leaning toward the V6 turbo because of its low-rpm pulling torque. Would love a diesel, but don't think that I want to pay an extra $10K for the diesel, especially considering the higher costs to maintain a diesel verses a gas. I had kind of settled on a GMC Sierra Denali 2500 (not Ultimate), mid trim level, with a 6.7l V8, mostly for it axle strength, payload and towing numbers. However, the price tag for that truck is really making me squirm. $90 - $100 for a truck is CRAZY! So, after watching this video, I'm going to give a Chevy Silverado 2500HD another serious look. We would have to add running boards though (I'm 5'8" and my wife 5'2"... we'd have to bring step stools to get into the truck without running boards. LOL).
I've watched several of your truck videos. I like your format (technical and tongue-n-cheek anecdotal comments). Liked, Subscribed, and Bell Rung.
Heck yeah!! other truck review, and one is looking good.
Don’t think you can loose with any of these trucks. Their all freaking amazing
❤ yes sir the work horse love it pul all my toys good luck Steven and thanks Joe an Lori have a beautiful blessed week folks 🙏❤
I love the interesting way Joe pronounces his "G's". Reminds me of the way the Ultimate Warrior pronounced "Hulk Hogan." Joe- check the news- you're part of the new English dialect coming from south Florida!
I love this truck this is my favorite truck
for all these people saying raitis rides DESERVES 1mill subs,
this is show bizness baby,
there is no such thing as deserve.
they earned it thru making entertaining content, and getting lucky,
you gotta have talent AND A LOT OF LUCK.
I could put a plow on the front of that bad boy and clear a lot of town parking lots in the fall and winter, while simultaneously hauling the hay. Oh wait, I'm not a rancher. I got lost there for a second. Great truck!
I thought there was a mistake when u said 58k..i was expecting 70k.. I'm liking this...nice 1..have a blessed day Joe n fam
I am glad that I can bring the surprises.
I built a similar gas version and it was 60-61k.....that is a 70k truck fir sure with diesel
I like the chrome front bumper I would like the LED lights they always look brighter I'd like the chrome fender opening
Very Nice
These are closer to 71k Joe. 58k might be the gas motor. Great video!
I can’t look at a GM truck without thinking clown shoes, thanks. Sharp looking truck, love the colour.
Looks Kool joe .
I am so glad that you approve!
FYI you can option all kinds of running boards and even a sunroof on an LT
The new front-end looks very nice. Huge improvement 👏
You can get the led lights on certain packages and configurations on the lt.
Best looking HD! Truck
The front turn signals up high like that reminds me of the '65 C-10
Anyone know how to disable the chime when you press the power liftgate button?
What would be cool is an SUV version of this truck!
Not another SUV please.
My dog has become a twikie lover. She gets one every Friday night.
Love it
Been wanting to have one of this...
Ya know Joe, never knew that was a bow tie until I started watching Raiti’s rides. I’m a little slow……..🙃😂
I am here for you Tom!
Really nice truck great job GM
Yo do get led lighting on the LT trim if you go with the sport package or midnight package.
Joe
Awesome video as always!
Would love to see Chevy Silverado vs GMC Sierra side by side comparison
They're the same truck 😂
@@79random They look very different. The GMC has a much better front end in my opinion. GMC has always been a little higher quality that Chevy even though both built by GM
I couldn't wrap my head around the typo haha..but I 100% knew where it was going
Yeah it can't believe I missed that!
Great review as always. I have the 2020 Trail Boss with the 6.2 and love it. I really like the new dash setup on the 2024.. ALL IN for Poker Competition...
Personally I like to have incandescent lights. Incandescent lights are cheaper to change whenever they go out. Most modern vehicles now have one piece headlight system so the LEDs burn out you got to buy the whole new light setup which could be hundreds of dollars. I think if a customer is going to order a vehicle they should have a choice between LED and incandescent lights. Plus incandescent lights and vehicles nowadays they don't put the best quality and I've seen new trucks going down the road or half of the lights are burned out. I always liked incandescent bulbs.
Great video Joe, but ive gotta disagree with you not zonking the headlights. Headlights are part of safety and it seems when it comes to trucks manufacturers like the pay to be safer. Who cares about fancy led daytime running lamps or switchback blinkers, but make them equivalent on all trims. And you and I both know led vs halogen isn't even close.
I like the design of wheel
My LT has a sunroof and back sliding glass. So how did that happen?
Options
Now I'm afford one!
Still can't get over seeing the "1M" next to your channel name. Looks really cool, you should make 1M a logo on a t-shirt.
Your fans would know what it means, plus it's kind of a funny play off of the 3M company.
That’s a great freaking idea
@@RaitisRides Awesome 😎👏👌😃
I know I haven’t even watched the video yet, but I got notified of you and Saabkyle04 uploading a Silverado video 1 second apart from one another 😂
Love the truck. Would like a larger Nav Screen, not much about 2” higher. Same width. Would like the interior to be a little higher level of leather and plastics.
The Z71 sport package gives it the new front end like on the high country
The color is off da chain
It really fits the truck nicely!
@@RaitisRides amen
Sounds like the home shopping channel.
Really nice truck
I am so glad that you are digging this one.
If I had a need of a truck like this it would be the one for me but in the High Country version.
HC is sweet
HC w diesel though, low 80K+ to 90K plus depending on options…. That’s without tax tags title dealer fees…. IMHO worth the cheese though. It’s the least costly top trim of them all, and IMHO one of the nicest!
Vehicles are one of those things that they can remind you everyday that you do not have a lot of money to get a better version with all the limitations, omissions and cheaper materials.
question Joe, is it me or do you not do many hyundai sedans ? Id like to see some 😊
work truck and custom trims having halogens on them, I understand. But LEDs should be standard on LT and above trims.
975 torque? That's madness!!
Madness is its down 225 ft lbs vs Ford diesel!
Any more torque isn’t really useful, cannot get it to the ground IMHO. It’s all mythical chess match at whose numbers are real and are there to make people think wow. Run them all (GM, RAM, Ford) and I bet the differences are minuscule.
Hi Joe!👋
I love my 2022 Z71 2500 Duramax
3:14 "You can get rid of the socks, cause you have the bulge right there!" lol
I have custom gas like it so far.just a Lot of power.
I like it
cold twinkies for the win, but the twofer is appealing.
Just bought a 2024 3500HD LTZ which was a really nice upgrade coming from a 2018 Ram 2500 Big Horn. I looked at the RAM and Fords too. Here's my take:
RAM: The Ram was a great truck and I had no reason to leave them EXCEPT that they still have not updated the HD truck since 2019--as such the interior is starting to feel stale and the back seat on the crew cab is still shallow (depth) in the middle seat which is a problem for me with having to fit 3 car seats. The middle car seat overhangs the base of the middle seat by 3+ inches, does not have an auto-lock retracting seatbelt in center and this still hasn't changed for 2024 Ram HDs.
FORD: Immediately upon sitting inside a new Ford (Lariat), I just didn't care for the interior. Something about some of the interior plastic in the Ford seemed dated and cheap. I think the Ford has really nice exterior styling and the new H.O. 6.7L is tempting--overall the Ford's towing and powertrain capability is hard to beat but just couldn't get over the interior.
I do miss the true diesel sound from the Cummins (Duramax sounds like a sewing machine) but otherwise the new GM line is no comparison. The Ford wasn't terrible, it just wasn't as refined as its GM counterparts. If the GM gives me trouble, I'll be headed back to Ram in a few years and hopefully by then we will see a nice refresh on the Ram HD line.
Just priced a Custom gasser crew cab with the custom value package. Out the door, 59K.
Where are you located man!? I’d buy a truck from you just from the commentary on this video! Had me informed about the truck and on the edge of my seat in hysterics!! 😂 please tell me you are somewhere in Florida! And $58 for a dirtymax!? I’m on my way!!
I prefer the gmc! Looks tougher and it's better lookin'
Not quite loaded as i would like, but... the price is really good imo.
I agree 58k seems like a bargain for this
I am ordering a 2024 LT 3500 pretty well loaded up and it came to $65k
Hell yes it is
"Twinkie party tray 😂😂😂"
Is that lake shore blue?
What color is this. Sterling gray metallic??
I crawed Cargurus for the nation and the only thing out there is Sterling (zero Slate Grays) and they all look like this truck so - I would say 99.9% yes that is Sterling.
I have had people with the paint code sell it and call it “sharkskin” as well. 😂😂😂
This is a very good looking truck. Does Chevy make long lasting trucks with good engines??
It really depends on who you ask Dan!
Yes but they still use the crappy 80le series transmissions.
L5P has been a good motor historically. Allison tranny collab 10 speed w Duramax is very powerful and surprisingly smooth. Now, the V8 gas engines in 1/2 ton and ford/GM collaboration on tranny are neither great. Those gassers have rod and lifter issues and the trannies on both fords and GM 1/2 ton 10 speeds can be problematic…. Each to their own. I’ve owned a lot of GM and Ford. Not a RAM guy, was one and done. Have found that the 3/4 ton models in all are just so much more robust than 1/2 tons. So I lean HD due to that…
What's the exterior color spec?
58K seems like a great price for what you get. I will trade the twinkies for some Ding Dongs.
At this point LED should be standard for all trims
2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Heavy-Duty LT 6.6L Duramax Diesel Allison 10-Speed Automatic Z71 OFF-ROAD Package Crew Cab 4X4!
whats nice ive noticed with chevy, its simple not flashy or overly expensive
warm 🔥
The square wheel wells on Chevrolet and gmc trucks kinda kills it for me it makes tires look small and it’s funny looking😂
I know they are not for everyone that is for sure!
Distinctive and iconic. Round is so boring…
The seats suck in mine. That's the one thing i liked about the ford
Ahh! C’mon Joe. Do you even need to ask!? 😉
Is the diesel engine still heavier than gas?
That front end still looks inverted to me with the turn signal and headlight placement. The halogen lights are a disappointment considering the price. They're on the right track with the higher end trim light setup and should've changed all of them.
I think it was found that halogen bulbs are better for automotive use.
Just picked up my 24 with the 6.6 gas. I honestly don’t like the transmission.it seems to engine break even at slow breaking speeds and makes the truck kinda of lunge instead of smooth breaking. Also, shifting in general is way to noticeable instead of smooth.
Still like that? Any updates?
You get me that truck for 58k and we can definitely talk about it
"Buy" and yes.
Thanks Blair!
I think you mis spoke Joe, there ain't no way a Silverado HD/ LT package with Duromax Diesel, and multiflex tailgate with convenience package only goes 58K, if thats true, tell me where to buy it, I'm all in.
When he says the seats break it, he is wrong. I have 43k miles on mine now and they're hard as a rock with no support where needed at all. Back pain after every drive.
