The first few months can be really stressful, especially if there is no grandma around to take the baby. But as the baby gets older, it becomes easier for you to have free time.
I find it very exciting when the baby starts to see the environment and becomes curious ...

Hey girl! Military wife here, I just had a baby (2 month old now) we came from Germany a year ago and i couldn’t even imagine having her out there! I still think about moving in with my mom for help, no shame in how you’re feeling!!! Stay strong girl you’re not alone! We are stateside now but I’m still far away from my family and constantly wish I had a little help/me time!
Oh yeah. Even being in a different state is hard.
I think if it weren’t for COVID it wouldn’t have been too bad. My parents and MIL would of been here for a couple of weeks each. I know that would of made a whole lot of diffrence. 🙃
I totally understand how you feel. My husband is in the Air Force and we were stationed overseas with a new baby. Then, he got deployed. 6 months alone in a new country was stressful.
😓 girl, I can’t imagine that! And I do think about it often. I’m so thankful he hasn’t been sent elsewhere while station here. I would hate that! BUT! We’ve always agreed I would go home if he gets deployed or even goes to the field for 2 weeks.

It will get better, we all go true that phase. You definitely need to start letting your husband deal with baby when you go out even if she is crying. That was the only thing that worked for me, he learned the hard way😂 but remember our kids are ok if we are ok and we need some time for us! This second lockdown that started today won’t be easy but we going to be ok! Blessings and happy holidays!

It's a case of too much of too few things, methinks. Perhaps a talk with hubby can help to find you some time for yourself? But you are doing a great job. And your affection for Baby Girl is adorable. You are still in the phase of changing from one environment into another. Like another commenter wrote: share the responsibilities. Train your hubby to be an equal understanding and able parent. Even Naia needs to learn that both parents can give comfort. Perhaps each in its own way. It is a learning situation. And parents learn all the time until kids have left. I took care of my late mom besides having a full time job. Albeit with some help. But I had never the chance of seeing things improving. With kids it is a positive development regarding the time to be present. They get more independent but also more complicated. One reason for couples to have two kids is that they can entertain each other without a parent's presence.

Thanks love!! 💕 I am right here with ya mama. I’m dealing with the same thing. My baby girl is so attached to me (I breastfeed her so perhaps that’s why) like she doesn’t want her papa at all. She’s about to be 5 months in about a week.. but I feel like I don’t have my me time. I feel like I e lost myself after having her, I mean I love her so much but sometimes mama needs her me time and a break. My husband is the same way he’ll be like go out to the store or whatever but as soon as like he calls the bay is crying this and than so it’s hard to have me time when I have to rush back home. I live about an hour away from my family don’t have much help either besides my husband but it’s hard when the Abby only wants me. Thanks for sharing I don’t feel alone it’s just part of mommy hood. Im liking the dark hair and actually you look great in any hair color. Baby girl was really great on her hair cut day. I remember when I first had my babies and the days when my feelings were always on a platter. Awe it's not easy. But I remember my Dad telling me, take one day at a time. I did loose my Mom when I was 6. But uhmm yea i really felt that void. When I wanted to share all kinds of moments. I know our situations are different but loneliness doesn't care. But once you get going and out of the gloom, you'll see all the wonderful things you and Baby girl can get to do together you'll see the difference. Yes I'm in the states and it sucks not to be with family and they are just down the street. We wear our mask but the visits are very seldom & short. For the same reason dam Covid. One more thing, get your nails did! If it's allowed in Germany......just saying.😊 Take care and Merry Christmas to you, hubby and Baby girl! Awe ☃️🤶🎄🎅💕
