Hobotech what happened to elecaenta solar panel company there panels aren't available anymore... what would be a good replacement
I have the 200 watt panel version of those Bouge RV panels hooked to two Bluetti's. Those panels work great so far.
FYI - You said 4F ~20C. The manual says -4F/-20C minimum discharge temp. Simple slip of the negative sign :) Thanks as always for your in depth overview!
Just used your Link with Discount!! Ac charge is not even an issue since it will be coming with me in my MACK truck for DC charging, THANKS FOR THE DISCOUNT BRO 🤟
These are getting very competitive for a simple backup solution.....or for something for a outdoor/camping trip. Thanks for the video Hobo.
That's a great form factor for a unit of this size.
I usually don't pay much attention to these smaller units, but yea, I can see this for certain items... Thanks for the review.
Also the Alien dance was very cool.
I bought one with two of the panels for an upcoming bicycle tour of the south-west. Perfect size and weight for my panniers. I hope it holds up to the rigors of camping for 9 to 12 months! We'll see ... Great stuff, Tom.
TBT video, with all of the entertaining content! Looks like a pretty good value at $199, and the 20% makes it even sweeter. Something like this could power your home internet router during a power outage of several hours.
Juice has left the building!😂 Thanks Professor!
What a cool SoGen! I think I need one.
I just picked up a similar smaller device from Renogy. In Canada itvwas on sale for 190CAD for a 222wh, 200watt output. By comparison the BougeRV 220Wh portable on their Canadian website is on sale right now for 270CAD. That's a pretty wide margin for similar performing products.
More power Scotty.
Great intro sfx!!!
First off, a good review. That said at about 1.25 into the video you said "modified" inverter. I search the tech specs on the Bouge website and could not find if it's a modified or pure sine wave inverter anywhere. Perhaps good reason? I thought modified sine wave inverters were a thing of the past. To me it's a game changer vs pure sine. The power station is small and portable but only provides a 150W output. Price with discount is decent but for my money I'd go with another tried and true Bluetti EB3A with a 600W pure sine output at not much more $ even without a discount. JMO.
I was surprised I had to scan so far down in the comments to find anyone mentioning that it was modified sine wave instead of pure sine wave.
Dealbreaker.
I use my old 100watt jackery solar panel 👍
Great video, would love to see a review of the DJI Power 1000 in the future
Same here. I just got the email from DJI today
I'm telling everyone to write them to send one to me. If enough do, they will.
I would also love this
WOW NICE
Please review the BougeRV outdoor shower water heater or similar clones.
The JuiceGo is a good idea by BougeRV, though not a need at this time. Thanks for the review.
Was looking for a power station that I could fit in my backpack for long onewheel rides and use to charge it. It being only 150watt output wasn’t enough plus the wh being so low wasn’t great either. Went with ryobi 40v batteries and the 300watt inverter instead.
i like that its light but the bluetti eb3a when its on sale for $200 or the ac2a and river 2 outright instead.
the Juice 😂😂😂 great timing.
NICE. 😀
Bluetti EB3A still seems to be the best Bang for buck as far as power vs size
I want one!
I would like to see a review on Bougerv 240wh portable power station for refigde because I have CRPRO25 And I have Bluetti AC2A but I don’t like it to small and I would rather have a small battery that fits in my fridge compartment.
Can you compare the new DJI battery 1000 vs Anker solix c1000
But will it summon the little green guys above?
hA HOBOTECH DID YOU WATCH the ELLIPSE AND HAVE YOU SEEN ANY WILD STUFF OUT THERE
I need Clarification! I just saw an ad for this product and they were using the AC ( NOT PURE SINE) hooked up to a Bougerv cooler??? Isnt this a NO NO????
Interest little box. I recently got the Pecron e300, but this is smaller and lighter.
Excellent presentation. Thank you. Would be nice if this unit had some 5521 12v outputs. The Bluetti EB3A is about $180 with coupons now and is in the same size and capacity class. It has much better 12v output options, a more powerful inverter, charging input and weights in at 10lbs. I have one of the older Energizer PPS240's that you reviewed a couple of years ago. That unit is very close to this one as well. To this day, I still use the heck out of it as it is a really good size (6lbs) for the features.
Seems like a great product, however, it lost me at modified sine wave
👍🏽 do you plan on reviewing the new DJI power stations?
Write them and tell them to send me one.
@@HOBOTECH😂😂😂👍🏽
👍
Mr. Hobo or anybody here know if its Ok to use this product with its mppt with my Tv??
The T Coronae what now? 😳
Have you consideted the SeaStar S50
It's on my short list.
😊😊😊😊😊
I'm not well versed in amps and watts. So would something like this run my wife's cpap for how many straight hours? I don't think a 150 watt inverter would run a cpap, or would it
CPAPs take 30-60w depending on model and settings.
You need to get one of those inexpensive killowatt meters to actually verify the watt requirements. Once you know the watt draw you can divide the 230 that Hobo tested on this one by your draw to get the hours. So if it draws say 50 watts, you could run this unit for almost 5 hours on this unit. The kilowatt meter is very, very useful for checking stuff around the house so it can come in handy for a lot of things. Most of the newer batteries like this one, have a watt meter on them so once you get your first unit, you can also use it to see how many watts stuff draws too.
Most CPAP machines use an adapter to bring 120 volts AC to 12 volts DC so why would you waste capacity converting DC to AC only to bring it back to DC get an adapter to plug the CPAP machine into a auxiliary power port the only thing I haven't figured out is why an adapter from the company is almost 3 hundred and one from my dealer is under 40 dollars even if the dealership one is regulated it shouldn't cost that much and also most units with lithium batteries are already regulated so a simple cord with a CPAP machine plug on one end and a cigarette lighter plug on the other is all you need after all I've seen and confirmed modified sine wave inverters are deadly for electronics my DeWalt battery charger had solder joints melted my battery maintainer had the same I wondered why they quit working and after watching utube video's I took the units apart the DeWalt was easy as the wire was still in the hole so resolder it but the maintainer the wire was loose and there was Multiple options
No capacity tests or anything? Is this the real Professor Hobo??
I did a capacity test.
How long is cycle life please?
Mentioned in the first 35 seconds.
Thanks for this video.
I gave away the one you gave me, two years ago.
I believe I’ll purchase this as it will be my “light power” at night!
Perfect price too.
Thanks…#panchosez
This is just like my Older beaudens but more features and a little more WH!! O Absolutely FONT need anymore Sogens but what the heck!!! Its nit vey exspensive!!!🤣😂😂
EB3A.
Modified sine wave inverter - charging laptop ! I think not !!
Through a laptop power brick it's a non issue. Pure sine is required when you are directly AC powering an appliance with a computer chip like a microwave.
Charge your laptop with usb. They probably sell a usb c to whatever laptop plug you got adapter. I have a USB C to lenovo Square plug for my works desktop computer.
NOT UK HOBO ???
I don't review overseas models. They are totally different than ours due to the mains voltage and frequency differences.
I have a goolong jumper pack that comes with all the same hookups and has 350wh and cost 80 bucks. Only think it does not have is a walloutlet but we use it to charge kids tablets and laptops so this doesn't actually give me any more usage and being able to jump my V10 truck as I tested it with no battery in the truck is amazing and grest to have on our boat if the battery was ever to go dead while on the lake.
i hate that sos function in my lights.
I got Zapped buying this. Just saw the Egretech plume model which is FAR SUPERIOR! Im old but i keep learning🙆😁👍🙆
Interesting product. Just hate all the pop-ups on their site, made me quit researching more...
😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Boop
How many Volts? I can't complete the formula.... Convert Watt Hours to mAh Formula is (Wh)*1000/(V) =(mAh).
Why does it matter? It's 240wh. Knowing amp hours tells you nothing.
Where's the best place to go for World UFO Day?
Ships with NO wall charger?!? I remember when the Internet nearly melted when Bluetti initially shipped their EB3A without a charging cable.
USB power delivery ports will be getting boosted to 240w so the future will be USB everything. I for one do not want 18 different proprietary adapters for my devices.
Charge it with your AC2A 😂
You probably have a wall charger already: Any USB brick! I can lay my hands on three different 65w ones I've randomly accumulated, and have two sogens with 100w USB-C output.
BougeRV should drop the ‘lucky spinning wheel’ that greets you on their web page. If anything says “we are a Chinese company”, that’s it. See Temu.
ALL websites should drop those stupid pop ups!
Deal breaker to me is no A/C charging.
PD charger isn’t AC enough?
Modified Sine wave? Im surprised they didnt use a pure ...
