Winning anything at the pro level isn't easy, but it requires many more pieces to fall into place to win a Super Bowl these days than it did to win an NBA championship back then. Sports analysts often mention that it was easier for the big franchises and schools with big programs to win back in the day, particularly at schools with the biggest football programs or NBA teams that snagged a dominate player. Their reasoning makes perfect sense when it's explained why they think that way. Again, that's just my take.
