Legit though. Been arrested on supposed dui (never charged, blew zero) after a crash, and had my personal 45 on me open carry in a holster loaded, it was a super easy thing, being disarmed and everything, even given a ride home and my handgun back after being taken for a breathalyzer.

in my state its only relevant if the phone is locked. locked items including lockscreens need a warrant. this also means they cant legally use your face ID or print without your permission. im not aware if it includes streams as recordings but im referring to if your phone was evidence in a crime of some kind then they can actually search through it if its not locked.
