This kind of thing is a dime o dozen. People, mostly guys, who either never understood social interaction or were raised under the mindset that "once they land that well paying job, it will all be worth it."
Then they hit that well paying job or suddenly come to a lot of money and are hit with an existential shock that it doesn't grant them the "happily ever after" their parents told them it would; and these are the cases that turn out 'good'.

For me my tattoos usually get a lot of redness after the process. Like directly after I can take a picture of the tattoo and it looks perfect, then after an hour or so I start to swell and such.
