That "joke" made me pause the video and come to the comment section to see what people are saying. Because maybe I just read/watch too much true crime, but it didn't even seem like a joke to me so much as a testing of the waters. It straight up seems like the sort of escalation people this disconnected from social norms and basic decency towards others would end up doing out of some perceived disrespect. @@Lethotepyes, unfortunately your comment could probably describe loads of kick streamers. The platform created to promote shady online casinos registered in tax havens in the Caribbean. In what kind of backwards world I live for random dudes to harass someone unprovoked, pull out a gun on them, threaten to kill them and then make a joke about kidnaping and raping a woman, and the chat still thinks of them as the good guys and blames cops for arresting them? This is some kind of villain's cliché henchmen-level of moral depravity.
@captaingramcrackergrams5990 stereotypes exist for a reason. There aren't stereotypes of those people playing clarinet because it's not a trend. There are stereotypes because the trend is very high that they are irrational, criminal and violent.

Some of those viewing and commenting live on the platform with suggested behaviours could potentially also be charged as being a party to the offense or incitement in some jurisdictions too.
Something I learned in a class is that even if the other person/persons attack you first, if you instigated the altercation then you cannot use lethal force or even brandish your firearm (like he did). The woman slapping your phone is also not even close to something that would legally allow you to draw your firearm, furthermore if the threat against you stops (which it already had since she slapped his phone a few times then stopped) then you cannot legally draw your gun as there is no longer an active threat against you (there never really was one in this case).
That or people who have CC. If me and a friend of mine who both have a permit were around and saw this or anyone else in the city with a conceal carry he might not be around anymore as well. Especially brandishing with threats of "blowing them away".
The idiots did this on the STRIP, which is crawling with security/cops, as the casinos want it kept safe as possible to avoid customers getting scared off (also to keep rowdy drunks under control). Probably the worst place to be pulling this stunt, aside from inside one of the big casinos.

Probably a fake gun first off. I learned as a child to never pull out a gun unless you already plan on killing someone and if they have their CCL’s (which let’s face it they probably don’t but hypothetically if they did) then even pulling a gun on an unarmed couple could even be seen as attempted murder
I live in Vegas: IF this dude was concealing w/o a permit ON THE STRIP and brandished a firearm PLUS made deadly threats, he is so cooked. Oh, he better hope he doesnt have alcohol in his system either, thats another charge in the state of NV. what a loser
It’s almost happened a couple of times. Just a few weeks ago a “first amendment auditor” was out filming and harassing homeless people and when they got sick of him they started following him and he pulled out his gun and shot one of them. He’s still in the icu in a coma.
You cut out the best part in my opinion Charlie when they first see the cops one of the guys says "oh shit" and you can hear him shit in his pants it's gold.
It’s actually hilarious that the couple didn’t even walk away or stop arguing with him after he pulled out the gun, they still barely felt threatened by him.
Obviously don't rely on this ever, but I don't think any of those guys have the balls to actually do it. They're just trying to make themselves feel big by harassing others and having a gun. Underneath they're just pathetic losers that are too scared.
the smart thing was to get out of there as soon as they saw the gun but it clearly worked out in this case since these guys are losers that just use the gun as a prop to feel tough
I def respect that but incredibly dangerous. I know someone who got in a similar situation trying to defuse a conflict, the one holding the gun accidentally discharged it and the guy got shot in the chest - but ultimately survived. Can't underestimate how stupid people can be,....
I love how after saying he wants to rape her, spraying people with pepper spray and pulling out a firearm, the cops catch him and he immediately goes "Oh no! Please don't hurt me, I did nothing!" It's so sad that it is becoming a normal thing for people to do this type of stuff. Harass people in the public and think there wouldn't be any consequences, yet people would approve this
I thought the gentleman that left to grab the cops, left because he didn’t know what to do after he was being threatened. That dude is a hero and extremely smart for just walking away without saying he was calling the cops.
It's poetic justice seeing these "tough guys" going around brandishing hand cannons too big for their hands while acting tough suddenly turn into blubbering children the very second the police show up with a pair of shiny bracelets for them.
This was literally my first thought, someone might do it just for the chance to do it "for free" but i wouldnt blame anyone getting scared enough to shoot at that point
that's true but wouldn't it be best to de-escalate the situation? it would definitely hurt my ego if I just left the area but that would be the best option.
Misdemeanor assault (up to 6 months) Assault with a deadly weapon (pepper spray is considered a deadly weapon by Nevada law, so this would be a category B felony: 1-6 years) Brandishing a firearm (a misdemeanor under Nevada law: up to 6 months) Multiple counts of felony menacing (1-5 years) Misdemeanor resisting arrest (up to 6 months) If the judge wants to throw the book at them, they could get about 10 years in prison.

Fr, can Kick just actually be shut down for good now. Granted even if it did, a new platform would pop up but holy fuck, I get Twitch has had actual crimes streamed, but never to the degree of actually empowering these losers to go out and do this. It was funny for a while but the dangerous driving/threatening to kill strangers/hunting "pdfiles" (I question if Vitaly actually rounded up any predators as he seems to pick them off a tree within minutes of each other) and then going on to spark violence against them without any legal cause, it's actually the wild west except the streamers don't seem to realise that just because Kick doesn't have rules, doesn't mean there isn't real world laws.

“You don’t understand what trouble you’re getting yourself into.” Man, even after all his nonsense and instigation, she’s still looking out for him on some level. That woman has class.
I think a more real interpretation was that she was hurt and scared by the situation she did not want to be in and did not deserve, so she's appealling to their common sense. So the people who just laughed about shooting her, who targeted her for being a woman, calling her a whore, and laughing as their tts says to rape her at gun point, would leave. It's less a "you guys might get in trouble for this, watch out for yourself" and more like a "this situation is impossible for you to get away with, so don't make it worse and pull something more violent against me."
Wise man, he knew he couldn’t take them on by himself so he disengaged and got backup, makes me wondered if the dudes been in similar situations before

Potential charges: 1. Assault with a deadly weapon (+1 for each person threatened) 2. Unlawful brandishing of a firearm. 3. Possession of a firearm while committing a felony. 4. Disturbing the peace. 5. Resisting a peace officer. 6. Simple assault (+1 for each laid hands) If he does not have a concealed carrier's permit, he will get charged with illegal possession of a firearm. If the gun was stolen, he will get charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Some of these scary long prison sentences. I would estimate he has about a minimum of 10 years, hanging over his head over this incident.
Depending on the DA and local laws he could get away with a suspended sentence and $0 bail. Even if he's been arrested multiple times with numerous felonies under his belt. Seen it before, will see it again.
Most places already do. Getting in someones face like that can be considered assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. All the victim has to say is "i thought they were going to hit me"
if you watch the full clip you can see someone in the chat say "guns are legal in las vegas so wtf?" yeah but its not legal to wave them around and threaten people with them

man lucky the couple didn't have a gun or the chat would've seen a gun used legally for self defense
It's so genuinely gut wrenching that they started to say the cops were corrupted when for once they were doing something useful. It makes it so when people actually say that sound like they're lying or people who are in situations where a cop is using excessive force.
they are corrupt, they will probably let these goobers out to reoffend
@@TruthDoesNotExist maybe, but I was mostly talking about how they're actually doing an appropriate response.
@@TruthDoesNotExistAnd what can they do about it? Democratic mayors constantly undermine the police and catch and release these fools so their hands are pretty much tied behind their backs.
Yeah I wonder where they got this idea from?! 🤔
@@TruthDoesNotExist Yeah because that's definitely up to the police
Most satisfying ending of a rage inducing clip I’ve ever seen
"why wont you fight me"- the man with pepper spray standing 10 feet away from his friending holding a gun and saying "im gonna blow you away" like its a smiling friends episode
only thing missing was charlie trying and failing to grab the gun then running away
Imagine thinking that you're "hard" because you are waving a gun around and threatening to shoot unarmed people.
Reminds me of my bestfriends boyfriend who threatened to ruin my life last week (im 15, he's 18 or 19) over an insult I didn't even say to him over a year ago after he chased me and my friend into the womens restrooms at school💀
@@livybug1101That's just, wow. I thought such people only exist in games or movies
INNOCENT people

Happened to me fairly recently. All because I was vacuuming and the neighbor who pulled on me didn't like the noise.
"why won't you fight me?"
My man you pulled out a gun and pepper sprayed them. Why would anyone "fight" you?
sane people
The problem that he is a huge coward
Do not taunt people after YOU started the problem
Yeah, he already struck a critical hit by using cayenne pepper directly to the eyes. Idek if that takes time to see straight after being sprayed like that.
The ending of this whole episode is just *SO* satisfying.
