The guy in the first story is crazy. Who just let's a stranger into their friends house that they don't know? If I'm watching a friend's house and dog and someone comes to the door I'm not answering and sure as hell not letting them in the house and to said friends room. That's crazy

@@diana_torrsame. I live in Finland, which is way safer than majority of USA but I STILL don't open the door to strangers. One time I did, because I thought that my landlord was there to fix my toilet plumbing (there's no peephole in my apartment, just a dark glass window in the door so you can kind of see who's there) but it was some weird guy who was obviously very drunk asking if I was willing to sell him cigarettes. I don't smoke so I told him that. He then noticed my cross necklace and said something like "oh, you are a believer" and went on his way while singing. I know that is not creepy but it was very strange 😅
@@Moonless87 Thank goodness he just walked away and didn't return. We don't know what people's intentions are. One time someone knocked on my door at 3 am. I happened to be awake because I was gaming. The hour alone was scary af. Of course I didn't open the door nor answer. Then he just yelled from the outside "you left your garage open." It was a kind gesture but still freaked me out!
Pro tip: If watching a house find out who may visit and if they are ok to enter. People often broadcast on social media when they are away, either on a trip or for the night. And they think nothing of it.

Yep, my ex almost got robbed from doing that. Someone who knew where she lived tried to go rob her while we were on a trip. They tried to bust through the front door but luckily the door held up
I find it quite stupid that the person in the first story was 35 and didn't find some way to confirm that the girl was Alex's girlfriend. It's even worse that not only is he 35 so he's logical enough, but he texts Alex AFTER the girl is already in the house. He clearly was in contact with Alex so he could have confirmed easily.

I definitely agree with you. Assuming the door had a peephole, he could have checked to see who it was first. Before he even let the woman in, he could have called Alex. The guy in the first story confirmed it was someone Alex knew. To what extent he didn't mention. But they definitely had ill intentions.

Well you gotta think about the friend that owns the house. He was out of town and probably told his friends that. So no one would come to his home asking to be let in. I guess the guy that was out didn’t think anyone would want in his home so he didn’t bother to tell the main guy. It was just an unfortunate situation. Then again the main guy should have messaged his friend asking he if knew the girl so thats on both of them
The person who wrote the story 2 has an obsession with telling people they had a suite. I swear they mentioned it 87 times. Lol

In some cases, it might be better not to mention that you're calling the cops. That way, they intruder won't know to leave and they'll be more likely to get caught.
I think it was to make sure the intruders didn't forcibly enter the bedroom.
It's risky not to tell them. Sometimes the cops don't show up for 30+ minutes. It was new year's eve after all, they might've been busy.
I agree, but ONLY if you have a gun or other good weapon to defend yourself cuz let’s be honest- most intruders already have a weapon themselves, so if your bare handed your usually screwed. While we want them to get caught, we also don’t want to get killed in the process of trying to do so. If it was new years or any other major holiday, I would safely assume the cops would take a lot longer than usual to get there. So in this particular instance, it was probably the right call to announce it.

Man, I'm so ticked off. I wrote out a true story about what happened to me 20 years ago, specifically to send in to Mr Nightmare. I wrote the whole thing out. Proofread it, and then went to save it. My computer glitches, and the whole thing is gone. I don't know when I'll write it all over again. So discouraging.

@@mongoose9851 When I worked in retail and the overnight guys always said that the bathrooms were haunted. I had to stay one night to paint over graffiti in the bathrooms and stuff kept happening. Stuff that can't be explained. I'll get around to writing the whole thing again sometime.

I had night terrors about a freakishly large man watching me sleep every time I slept on my mom's sofa. I thought her house was haunted until we found the sunroom window slightly open, the lock broken, and a footprint on the sill. Turns out the nightmare man was real and had been in my mom's house multiple times.

As an introvert, i would never in my life ever open the door to anyone when I'm at home. I'll just watch a movie cuddled up in bed and pretend i don't hear anything 😂

Bruh whoever submitted the first story had me clenching my phone in PURE frustration. Who the fuck lets in some random woman into the house and who also claims to be your friend’s girlfriend WITHOUT checking with said friend if this is legit?? Like I know some people might not be involved in their friend’s personal lives, but at least check with them if someone claiming to be their partner shows up.

8 years and I’m so happy with consistent uploads the past two years. I remember waiting months for a new story years ago and this consistency has been a great gift. Thank you Mr. Nightmare been following you when you had narrated creepypastas way back when.
Despite people complaining about the couple's pretentious suite... that 2nd story was great. Sent goosebumps all through my body. I love the additions to little sounds, the creepy laughter. Story came together well. At first it was funny they mentioned about how particularly cold it was that night. Comes full circle about the security footage. Real or not, I'd love to see a horror short film about it!
The guy in the first story could have at least called the friend to confirm the person could come in. Also, if someone comes in, you need to check the windows/doors to see if they unlocked them. He should have had to pay for having the locks changed because it was his fault.
1st story. That’s why you never let anyone in unless the homeowner has said it was ok. He was irresponsible and stupid for letting a stranger in his buddy’s house. Especially if you never met your buddy’s girlfriend or even heard about her.

Mate, during the 2nd story, something happened that scared the living daylights out of me.
My smartwatch is hung on a pouch on my wall facing my bed, and it occasionally checks for heart rate and thus flashing green. That's why I always turn it off before sleeping, but today, I forgot to do so. Once in the 2nd story the statement about the woman with the black dress cackling and growling, the watch's sensor went off which made all the dark room flash green constantly. I got startled as hell boy 😅😅😅
The writer of story 2 took 7 whole minutes to explain a weird girl in the hallway 😭

2nd story: "I saw a crazy person, and it scared me 😮." You know what lady, I see and hear crazy people screaming, throwing things, and cursing up a storm all the time. Just stay out of their way, and call the police if they get violent.

Ngl, the first story was just so stupid, somewhat a friend or an acquaintance, entrusted to keep an eye of the house, and then without second thought or verifying, just let a stranger, to him, the ENTRUSTED house keeper, waltz in and not act. The person giving the story to the channel here (IF even true at all) is the kind of friend you will never want to trust or hangout with anymore for being empty-headed
