The church squatter in the first story has balls of his own. To go chase down 2 strangers that clearly outnumber you into a cornfield at night without knowing who they are, how dangerous they are, or what type of weapons they have have on them is pretty ballsy
I agree. Either severely mentally ill /on drugs or someone armed with a gun or knife or what not. Esp at night. .very scary their intentions
Yeah, cornfields are just such unnerving places to be at, specially at night with strangers onto you with obvious malicious intents. Those guys are sure lucky they made it to safety...

Perhaps the adrenaline rush caused him to not think clearly, which could've been why he had forgotten something as simple as that

Story 1 - i love how Carter's dad was more concerned of the bikes, but at least they got their bike back by the next morning! It's still unknown whoever that was inside the abandoned church!

Imagine being one of these evil people in the stories just hanging out in abandoned buildings, waiting for these hapless people to come around... like what if no one ever does? "Aw shucks... welp, guess I'll try again tomorrow night." Then he goes home and his wife asks if he scared/killed anyone that night and he's like "Nah, I just sat there all night like an idiot." Must feel bad. :(

Yay for a longer length video! That was really good and good video footage. The footage of looking through the corn rows at night with a flashlight...so creepy.

I remember I saw something on the ground in a cornfield. It was dark, and I was terrified because it looked like a person. Turns out it was a scarecrow, and I just wet my pants. Spooky.
If you haven't done it already, I think some desert horror stories would be interesting. IDK why but I'm a little obsessed with desert settings and think there isn't enough desert-realted horror from what I've been seeing. Plus, I do really love listening to you while I draw!
True! Desert settings can indeed be quite eerie and make for excellent backdrops for horror stories.
In story 2 imagine if the guy had a nice high end drone to send out there to investigate when he heard the scream.
These stories were extra creepy to me this time. Gave me goosebumps. I'm always happy to wake up and see Mr.Nightmare's new video in the morning.

These cornfield horror stories are bone-chilling! The atmosphere and suspense in each tale are incredibly well-executed. It's the kind of content that keeps me on the edge of my seat, even in broad daylight. I love how they're supposedly true, which makes them even more terrifying. When Mr. Nightmare uploads a day after Chilling Scares, it's a really good day.
It’s getting close to October which is the spooky season! That means that Mr. Nightmare will be posting some awesome videos! I remember last October he posted like four or five times that month and they were all so good!
Now these are the kinds of fall-ish stories I like
The 3rd story would be a great plot for a movie.
Yeah, it’s called Mask that came out in 1985 and starred Cher who had a son with craniodiaphyseal dysplasia. That poor guy in story #3 just wanted to play and feel like he had friends.
I have a suggestion: 3 True Sewer Horror Stories.
This is a bit mushy and long but:
I've been listening to Mr. Nightmare since the very beginning, always been a fan. I started at 9, I'd watch on the school bus, listening through my old earbuds plugged in to my little blackberry flip phone. The screen would just be a laggy, pixelated mess, the video would buffer constantly, and the audio only worked when I held the cord at an awkward angle. Even with all that effort, I'd be locked in, scared out of my little mind, getting startled by the vague blobs of pixels that would be a scary image of a skull or eye. I'm 17 now, graduating high school this year, and I've never missed an upload. Mr. Nightmare is a staple of my childhood and his work is what started my interest in horror. I really love what he does and I'll continue to support his channel and watch every upload until the end. Love you Mr. Nightmare, thank you for 8+ years of excellent, thrilling, and entertaining content. You're the best.

Haven't finished the video yet but man story number 1 was awesome. Imo that is how its done. Nobody got hurt it was creepy and mysterious as hell. It leaves some stuff open to the listener to decide. Just perfect to me. Thank you.

I like how at 7:47, the image cuts to the cornfields from Outlast 2. It may not have been the best in the series, but it’s good to see an area from that game shown in a Mr. Nightmare video. 👍

Story 3. You knew the man was not the owner so you went back at night?! This person had already followed you earlier. That should have sent up red flags, like let's stay away from there. This could turn out badly. What were you thinking?! Do you have any idea as to the numerous things that could have happened to you?! Do you realize that you may have never been seen or heard from again?! Always be aware of your surroundings. If something feels off get out of there fast. Do not look back, that only slows you down. Keep going until you're in a safe place and never return to the place in question. Survival mode.
