After years of binge watching content like this, I’m practically immune to the fear of scary stories, but there’s something about the third one that really got to me. When he said they heard humming/moaning behind them I sat bolt upright in my chair 😂

It's scary to you, because the threat is vague and of unconfirmed nature. Leaves a lot of room for imagination aka you scare yourself.

I have to be honest, I had a long while without getting scared of one of these stories but that third story along with the sound effects and the breaking bad soundtrack actually gave me chills, good job mr nightmare!

It's called being respectful. You don't have to do a thorogh cleaning, but you don't have to leave a mess either. This shows what type of person you are.

@@Harmthuria While I agree, the cleaning of the unit is a cost of doing business and should be incorporated into the price of the unit. It's fine to charge for, but the "respectful" thing to do would be to include it in the advertised rate, not broken off into a separate feed as to mislead on the listing as to the actual cost.

Story number 3 definitely hits the peak of the creepy factor. The humming/moaning sound was a good choice. Wouldn't listen to this at night.

I'm glad no one was harmed in these stories. There can be creeps out there. I play video games, too, sometimes, when I'm home alone. People outside super late at night is never a good sign. Also, in the first story, I thought someone was in the attic. Thanks to those who submitted these stories.

Mr nightmare has always been the best at making me feel like I’m the one experiencing the story first hand. Hands down the best story teller. I recommend people to listen to/watch his videos whenever the chance comes up!

I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts and narraters for stories, but I think Mr. Nightmare is the best. His voice his just so soothing but it also sets the vibe for the stories. Keep up the great work!
If I have to guess which one of these three stories is the most unnerving, it would definitely be the third one for obvious reasons. I honestly can't imagine being in a situation like that where one or two people with malicious intentions who are watching you from afar and decide to close in on you regardless of the weather conditions outside. If you ever hear any weird noises at night, please always remember to use common sense in whether or not it's a good idea to check it out.

I think I would go in the opposite direction of whatever strange noises I hear. Especially if I’m in a place where the territory is not 100% familiar.
this story actually startled me!! I would’ve been crying if i kept hearing the humming noise behind me, the courage that the pair had was incredible! Definitely the best snowstorm story by far

I know it's a stretch, but does anyone remembers a story by Mr Nightmare or maybe some other channel that narrates scary stories, it was a movie theather story where a guy found some girl in a seat with severe wounds, like mutilated face or something similar. I remember it as one of the scariest stories I've heard and I would love to re-listen it, thanks to everyone!

here’s something, I have a phobia of snow (Chionophobia) but I also live in MN.
I absolutely hate snow, it gives me a sense of dread even when it’s not a lot, or a danger. So already disturbing stories involving snow too, are the kind that actually disturb me. And I still watch them. Kind of how I also still live in a place with snow.

Fun Fact: These story’s aren’t actually as scary as we think they are it’s just our mind has no visual of what’s happening so we think of stuff that’s even scarier and that’s what makes Mr Nightmare so special. 🙌
