My dad died when I was 14, and I couldn't cope with it no matter what I did. A year later, I started having sleep issues, and I tried finding things on RUclips to help, and I found this channel. My dad used to help me fall asleep with Stephen King novels, and after I listened to this channel, I fell asleep with so much ease. I love these videos, and later on down the road, I slowly started healing the more I listened to these videos. It was like my dad was reading to me all over again.

that woman had dementia. there is nothing supernatural or murderous about her behaviour. i work with dementia patients and they can become violent if they are afraid, it doesn’t matter how many times you tell them who you are or what you’re doing there, their brains can’t comprehend it because they are confused. martha needs professional care and her daughter should’ve known better than to leave her with a stranger, of course she acted like this. i understand how it comes off as chilling or creepy to some people when they stare into walls or close and open things on repeat, but understanding it takes away all that fear. take away the dark atmosphere and give them so medication for aggressive behaviour and you’ll realize they are just reverting back to childhood, or are not seeing reality.

Why do people not buy locks to put through the zippers of their tents? I’ve heard so many horror stories about people unzipping tents and peeking in, like…you could even use a safety pin or something? Right? Just hook the zippers together? As a note, I haven’t been camping in like…over 15 years, maybe closer to 20.
These stories are the reason I have a conceal and carry. Also from stories my friends have said. Never know who’s out there, and I’ve learned to never trust strangers…. Especially in the middle of the woods, or at night.
@@AStrawberryHedgehogI’ll look into this! I’ve seen locks that you can get, I’d say even a regular luggage lock works tbh. You just put it through the inside of the tent when you go to bed and that should do the trick. But I know they sell specific tent locks for camping.

Story 2 is from reddit, and MrBallen happened to retell it a couple years back, and this story is not only my favorite Ballen story to this day, but pretty much my favorite cryptid encounter stories too. Needless to say, when story #2 started up, I was pleasantly surprised and seriously stoked to be hearing the awfully familiar words of one of my favorite cryptid encounter testimonies of all time. I honestly dunno why this story specifically jives so well with me, it's not particularly terrifying or anything. Perhaps it's more to do with it coinciding with the start of both my fascination with cryptid encounters and with MrBallen. It was also when I first discovered and became obsessed Mr Nightmare! Ah, an evening where I can cozy up in my bed and hide, thank you Mr. Nightmare! This year had some real scary ones, I hadn't felt like that since I first found this channel, being scared to open my eyes or walk through the house at night. The first ones that pops into my head is the Uncle Joseph story and the one where the "demon" kid who "adopts" people, but I'm sure there's others in this video that I'll agree are unsettling too.

True scary camping story and it happened to me: so basically one summer me and my family decided to go a a really big camping trip so we took days and drove across the country on our way back from our destination one night it was late and we had just arrived to our camping site. We drove around to find our spot once we found it everything felt off someone was parked on the campsite. So my mom got out of the car and asked him to please leave he didn’t respond she hopped back in the car hoping that he would leave. He ran behind our camper and as freaky as that was me and my family stayed calm. We drove around the campsite until he left our spot. Then as we were driving to our campsite he was following us watching from a distance. Me and my family decided to take a couple laps and in one at the top of the hill with his lights on he was staring at us. We decided to leave so we drove to a Walmart and camped in the parking lot considering I had a RV it wasn’t terrible the next morning me and my family drove back and the camp owner said there were a lot of alcoholics. I still wonder to this day what would have happened if we stayed.

Ah, an evening where I can cozy up in my bed and hide, thank you Mr. Nightmare! This year had some real scary ones, I hadn't felt like that since I first found this channel, being scared to open my eyes or walk through the house at night. The first ones that pops into my head is the Uncle Joseph story and the one where the "demon" kid who "adopts" people, but I'm sure there's others in this video that I'll agree are unsettling too.

True scary camping story and it happened to me: so basically one summer me and my family decided to go a a really big camping trip so we took days and drove across the country on our way back from our destination one night it was late and we had just arrived to our camping site. We drove around to find our spot once we found it everything felt off someone was parked on the campsite. So my mom got out of the car and asked him to please leave he didn’t respond she hopped back in the car hoping that he would leave. He ran behind our camper and as freaky as that was me and my family stayed calm. We drove around the campsite until he left our spot. Then as we were driving to our campsite he was following us watching from a distance. Me and my family decided to take a couple laps and in one at the top of the hill with his lights on he was staring at us. We decided to leave so we drove to a Walmart and camped in the parking lot considering I had a RV it wasn’t terrible the next morning me and my family drove back and the camp owner said there were a lot of alcoholics. I still wonder to this day what would have happened if we stayed.
