Have you seen any TCL sets yet Allen? They bought out Samsung's LCD panel business and seem to have added "woefully inadequate number of LEDs in the backlight" (ten LEDs to illuminate a 50" screen on the one I saw) to the mix. I imagine these are at least as bad as the Samsung sets?

Another Samsung bites the dust. At least they keep us employed and we should be grateful that they continue to make sets that may last a few years after the warranty expires or they may not.

Samsung bought all these screens from an outside company. So many failed the company went bust.
