Aw fantastic video! So glad you got to visit Machu Picchu. It is spectacular up there. I did the 4 day hike on the Inca Trail. That was tough, but well worth it! I always wondered what the bus must be like. The road up looks very twisty! Can’t wait to see where you go next! 😊
It was a twisty one coming up on the bus, we loved hiking back along the trail, it’s so beautiful, can imagine the four days must be so scenic to hike! We met some great locals along the way too.
Awesome video guys!! Happy you had a great time. Wife and I just got back from Machu Picchu in November but we did the 4 day Inca Trail which I definitely recommend. Roughly around 12:33 in your video, there is a ridge he is pointing at that is the 4 day Inca trail. If you follow it along to the left you will see the dip in the mountain, that is the Sun Gate, where Inca Trail hikers get their first glimpse of Machu Picchu, it's a magnificent sight.
That’s awesome! Did you arrive through the Sun Gate for sunrise? I think we saw some hikers coming through it, guessing they’d done the full hike. If we’d had more days we would have loved to do the full hike, the small part that we got to hike was so fun and beautiful walking back to Hydro Electrika.
Wow I loved this blog I felt I was there with you just as well as I hate heights and could not climb or walk over that bridge thank you for letting me join you
Wow that’s quite a tour, so interesting to see. Some of those steps had a sheer drop one side! Couldn’t do that! Certainly gave you a fantastic view though. Quite a trek but love the river at the bottom & then the water rushing by - bet you’d have loved a paddle! Still great they have lots of cafes, need them! What’s Inca cola made from? Great you got the train. Hope you had a very well deserved rest the next day! Thank you.
The steps up to HP were a little tricky but getting to MP wasn’t so bad just walked right in from the bus ☺️ not entirely sure what Inca Cola is made from we saw it before and thought it looked interesting but after hiking in the heat for 3 hours a cold one was perfect, definitely had a lot of sugar I imagine!
We arrived into Cusco and walked around the main square into a couple of the agencies there and chose the one we liked, negotiated a price and then picked up the tickets at 6pm the night before we got the train. You can book through Get Your Guide for our exact tour too. We picked the route with the extra hike up as we wanted to see the view looking back over MP.

Wow, the whole place looks absolutely stunning. Being a sun worshipper in sure that Kirsty is also part Inca 🤣

We’re glad to share it with you!
Machu Picchu es el nombre que se le dio posteriormente, ese lugar tiene muchos misterios aún por descubrir!!!
It’s a beautiful place full of mysteries for sure.
Love the nature ❤❤❤
The nature and landscape up there is breathtaking, those Incas really knew how to choose a location for views 🙌🏼

Great video! What month did you go please? And what time did you start your circuit?
Thank you, we went at the end of August and started our circuit just after 6am as our entry ticket was between 6-7am.
Fue el inca Pachacutec !!!
👍🏼
¿Quién les ha dado esa información tan errónea?
All information is from our tour guide that we introduced at the end of the video.
Which Circuit did you guys take?. Thanks
We chose circuit four and added the Huchu’y Picchu mountain hike too.
Inca patricio 😆
I tried 😅
I think there could have been a better title than asking if Machu Picchu was worth it. 🙃
Suggestions welcome!
¿Inca Patricio?😆😆😆
Yep 😅
