  • Welcome onboard a First Class Train that will blow your mind. If you’re thinking of taking the ultimate train journey, watch this first!
With its unmatched scenery, Belmond’s Andean Explorer should top not just your train trip list, but your entire travel bucket list.
Belmond launched the Andean Explorer in 2017 and, after a two year break -- by pure chance (!!) -- we were on the first trip onboard this First Class Train!
In this video, we’ll travel across Peru from Cusco to Arequipa onboard the ultimate First Class Overnight Train in a luxurious suite, the ultimate First Class Train accommodation.
You’ll see the First Class Train cabins available on this train along with the First Class Train Food!
We’ll also explore Peru on our way, stopping at a town 14,200 feet in the Andes Mountains, Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and to see some 10,000 year old cave paintings.
You’ll see the sights, the food, and gain insight into what it’s like to travel on the ultimate First Class Train: Belmond’s Andean Explorer.

@xplode1818 The Lake Mungo remains are three prominent sets of human remains that are possibly Aboriginal Australian: Lake Mungo 1 (also called Mungo Woman, LM1, and ANU-618), Lake Mungo 3 (also called Mungo Man, Lake Mungo III, and LM3), and Lake Mungo 2 (LM2). Lake Mungo is in New South Wales, Australia, specifically the World Heritage listed Willandra Lakes Region.[1][2]
Mungo woman (LM1) was discovered in 1969 and is one of the world's oldest known cremations.[1][3] The remains designated Mungo man (LM3) were discovered in 1974, and are dated to around 40,000 years old, the Pleistocene epoch, and are the oldest Homo sapiens (human) remains found on the Australian continent.

These trips will open your eyes to the wonders of our world and make you questions how you are living, what you are doing back home. In my 74th year I am now severely disabled with MS and no longer have the opportunity/money to travel as I might wish. I did the day train trip from Puno to Cusco a few years ago, it was an absolutely enchanting day. The service & food was incredible, and I have never seen better views anywhere in the world. The weird thing was the negative reviews online - people complaining that the train was slow, that the seats were armchairs bolted to the floor rather than "proper" train seats, even complaining about the entertainment put on by the crew - I guess there is no pleasing some people!

If you can afford the flight to Peru and even this train, you can afford to spend money on the products of the local people, ultimately they make up most of Peru.

Its not the same. Peru is born from the mixture of European and native culture. Like France is the mixture of Gauls, Romans and Germanic tribes, for example.

I have been on the Andean Explorer in 2012 and the journey to Puno was awesome! They served Chicha Morada and Pisco Sour. It was an amazing experience with the train chugging slowly through the mountains, reaching the highest point of 4050 mtrs (can't remember exactly the number) in La Raya, the mesmerising Peruvian Altiplano, seeing the tuk tuks in Juliaca and finally, the breathtaking view of Lake Titicaca before it grew dark. Long story made short....overall a 10/10! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.

I rode on this train when I went to Peru many years ago when I was in my 20s, that's 40yrs ago O.O! I had a great time, and the scenery was awesome.

What a magical trip, I would really love to go on this train, I love train travel. I’m flabbergasted by the amenities and the fact that it is all inclusive with meals and drinks. The day trips are really a great feature, more like a cruise ship than a train. I’m sure you will have memories to keep forever. The food looked so good and appetizing. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.

That was sensational! The cinematography, the editing and, of course, the on camera talent was amazing. Your best video yet and you've just moved this train well up on my list of must do experiences.
