I really admire your enthusiasm to celebrate again Christmas in the Philippines, but I was touched when you stop and repeat saying..."Your not spending Christmas with your family"...tears flowing, anyway, the best company is with yourself as long as you love yourself, things going to change positively, the universe will not allow a good person to be lonely and sad, along the way you will meet people, someone who will give back your smiles, your laughter and fun-loving attitude. For me, many times I also travel alone for work, spent my birthdays, holidays, Christmas and new year' eve in the bus, train, airplane and ship and use to live it. "Life is a Journey" and the meaning of Christmas for me is not only being with the family during Christmas Eve, it is the season of giving, to give love, a time to feel the glory of the coming of our Saviour-Jesus Christ, giving up the comforts in life, the luxuries and material things. To live simply but with joy in our face. "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Nellyslife.

Nelly, you’re a strong woman to go on with your life after Mike. The man above has your life written and Mike was just a stumbling block for you. You picked yourself up and that experience made you stronger and you learn from that experience. Was it a mistake? Only you will know later in life and you look at that part of your life with Mike and you can wear a smile and say “I’m better off now”. It’s a slow process of getting over but you eventually will. I always say divorce or separation is harder than death of a spouse because you see your other half with someone else.
