You cant beat the big 4x4 block targets. They weigh a freaking ton and are costly, but its made shooting so much easier for me not having to worry about the target or hitting the same hole too many times.... it eats the arrows up with very little damage and has and insane amount of life.
Since the bag's cover is made of polypropylene and the stopping power in the middle is burlap like most bag targets, the poly strands and burlap can hang up if there is a lip on the shaft of the arrow. However, if the arrow outsert is snug with the shaft you shouldn't have a problem but keep in mind all outsert brands are different so that's why we don't recommend outserts as a whole while practicing on bag targets only. Although, if you want to practice with no worries about any outserts, I'd recommend using Morrell foam like any High Roller Foam™ product or our Yellow Jacket Dual Threat foam target. Those type of targets are Commercial Range targets that can be over a thousand dollars. 😵💫 If you are worried about something lasting thousands and thousands of shots, you need a Kinetic 1.0 or Kinetic X. These are the most durable targets we have ever tested for longevity and has a two finger arrow removal pull. I would recommend those because of the longevity and you can buy them at a fraction of the cost of a commercial range target! 😁😁

The thing I like best about this system is you won't be constantly pounding the same area on the target as you change the options. I'd prefer to see arrows being pulled out of it though.
