Men! This reminds me when I was talking to this guy on Tinder for a while before I went to Korea. We also video called couple of times. He started to get attached just from talking to me without even meeting. I told him specifically that I’m only going there as a tourist for couple weeks but he wanted me to become his girlfriend for those weeks and then we decide after that how to end it. I said no way! It seemed like he was super desperate. He was getting so clingy that he got upset if I didn’t answer his texts within couple hours. What the hell? Did I ever mention that he was only 32 years old old and I’m 52? 😱 I had to ghost him cause I just couldn’t take it. I never met him eventually while in Korea.
The most surprising part to me is that you're 52. If that's you in your photo, I would have thought you were in your 30's.

Wow! It’s a good thing she didn’t relent and agree to see him again. This guy obviously has issues. It would have gotten even messier had she not ended it after the hook up. She definitely SHOULD NOT have met him at her place, though, because then he knew where she lived. I guess she should count herself lucky that it didn’t get worse than the police at her door. I can envision any number of worst case scenarios. I can’t imagine one evening of sex being worth all the hassel.

Thank goodness she’s ok but why would she invite a total stranger to her apartment? She’s a foreigner in another country and doesn’t speak the language, taking risks like this just for a hookup? You don’t know this guy’s background, he could be a psycho for all we know & I’ve heard that it’s very common for korean police to take the side of the korean over a foreigner, so why risk it? I’m not tryna be judgmental but I hope she learned from this

I hate, the most, that he knows where she lives. That's the most dangerous part. Mutual ground ladies!!! It may sound 'cheap' but Korea is loaded with 'Love Rooms', motels just for this purpose. Its a whole industry out there! Since you are not expecting or requiring the full 'date experience' expenses, he should be mature enough to be willing to, at the very least, split the pay of the space he'll be using too! This also eliminates the 'they don't wanna leave' at the end - he doesn't have a choice! Separate transport too! Break off at the door. If possible, pay together in person. If he stands there acting like 'he lost his wallet' you can just turn, tell him that you really hope he finds it because you understand how important it is and to hit you up once he's done replacing all his IDs and cards so that, MAYBE, y'all can reschedule in the future.

Whew! This one was short but still a journey! I avoided this storytime initially because of the thumbnail. I thought it might be another true crime story and I wasn't in the headspace for that! When it popped up in the recommends today I took the chance and wow!😂 If anything, it was a mood booster! I went from laughter to pissed off on Bo's (and your friend's) behalf.
