Got My 2024 Outback Wilderness 3 weeks ago Loaded, wireless charge - Crystal black on black with Gold Highlights. Took it this past week to Vermont. All the hill climbing and winding roads , Did some off road hill climbing with X MODE and What a absolute Beast. I can't say enough about my first Subaru. Tons of room inside and all around a great open highway ride and the TURBO boxer engine is killer, for some really true giddy -Up.
I’m still convinced that Subaru used to take their crash data from their rally racing and applied what they’ve learned to their production vehicles to make them safe as possible. Thank you, Colin McRae! Your crashes were not only spectacular to watch, but invaluable in keeping people safe in their vehicles. Rest easy, legend!
I know you can’t hit on everything in a review. Here’s a couple of cool things you missed. The rear power gate is also hands free opening. Wave your hand in front of the Subaru emblem. There is a puddle light mounted in the gate to illuminate the area when the gate is open. Behind the gold accents on the roof rails are tie down points. Subaru StarLink is the app/system that allows you to remotely start , adjust temps, lock / unlock, and notify you of your vehicle’s health. Headlight high beams can be set to automatic. The rear seats recline. They also fold flat from the rear cargo are with levers. There is a full size matching spare tire with a pressure sensor. You can lock your keys in and manually unlock the vehicle from the rear gate handle area w an owner specified code. There are more cool things too. The engine being turbocharged requires only 87 octane and not premium grade like most engine with the same displacement with a turbo. Last but not least . The gearing is Outback Wilderness specific at 4.10:1. Which makes it surprisingly quick. As an owner of a VW GTI found out one day on my commute home.😉 Surprised might be and understatement. I wish I could have takin a video of the conversation at the next traffic light. 😂
I have a 2024 Outback Touring XT. Outbacks are very well made, have durable interiors, are excellent in snow and have tons of room inside. The XT has plenty of power but still gets reasonable MPG for a vehicle of this size. Subarus are not flashy, they're just excellent.
Wow, the Outback is amazing. I can't believe the amount of storage. And I'm so glad you mentioned the adaptive headlight was originally created by Tucker. The only two things I don't like about it is the gas mileage and that I can't get it in red. But, it makes a very strong case for itself. Definitely worth a look and a test drive.
Great review as always Joe! I have a black 2024 Outback Wilderness with the cell phone charger in the front; the dealer can add it or you can order a Wilderness with it. Also, you can adjust the contrast, etc. for the big screen & add lots of Wilderness addtiional interior & exterior options. Great car.
Why I love @Raiti's Ride, not only do you get entertaining review, frequently there is also a bit of auto history. Today about "Preston Tucker;" like most I thought adaptive headlights was a BMW invention!
I like your review of the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness Edition. I just get one 5 months ago. I have had a 1972 and 1974 Chev. Blazers, 1947 and 1968 Jeeps, 6 Chev 4x4 pickups so far. I must say this Outback is more that I expected. Every morning weather permitting I take Dakota (95 lb. lab) out for her morning ride. I have 600 A of duck club to ride around. I live in Duck country 5 miles from the Mississippi River. When it is wet we have gumbo. As long as I don't high center I can go most anywhere. I have used X mode everyday in some places. I got the Wilderness because it has a 9.3 inch clearance. I had a 1966 GTO when I was a senior. I do believe that my Outback is faster off the line, with the turbo. So far I love it
i opted for the 2024 forester wilderness same color,,i like the old school hvac knobs which this is the last year for them..the 8 inch screen is tried and true vs the new 11 inch,,ive owned 6 subi and have never has issues with the 8 in,,alot easier to navagate imo..yea i dont have a turbo but the 2.5 is just fine for just fine for about anything you will need ,,these 2 subi's are sooo close to each other it isnt funny maybe just a little more $$ for outback...and a a big shout out to joe for helping me make the desion of crosstrek wd or forester wd...i watched both of his reviews and decided the forester was alot more to what i needed,,you rock dude !!!
Geez user-oy, you failed to compare the biggest difference: Outback has the powerful turbo, Forester has the regular 4. And they look very different, Outback is more of a jacked up wagon, the Forester is more of a traditional compact SUV.
Great video. Love your commentating on the important facts such as the oatmeal cream pie pocket, or the ability to fit my two boxer dogs in the back storage area. Thanks for the tour. On the flip side, you left me hanging on the undercarriage camera view. Was waiting to see that clearance space in action over the cameraman. 💪🏽🔥
Thanks for the great review of the Outback Wilderness. I have a '21 Jeep Wrangler JLU that I love. My lease is up in September of '24. I had always planned on buying it at the end of the lease. I'm will also be 71 years old by September. I still have no problem getting into the Jeep but my wife of 46 years is shorter than I and it is getting harder for her. I am really liking the Outback. It still has the ruggedness of a Jeep but will be more comfortable all the way around than the Jeep. The Outback is at the top of my list.
I also have a 21 Wrangler JLU and my lease is up in August 2024. I do like it but i leased cause i was not sure if i would want to keep it long term. I am the fence right now about keeping it or not. The 2024 outback xt is on the top of my list if i turn the Jeep in. I’m sure the Outback would be more comfortable though especially for a daily driver. We used to have a ‘13 outback but from what i’ve read it seems the ‘24 is a lot better all the way around including the CVT trans. Guess i’ll have to drive one.
I think Subaru makes such a dependable car I’ve only had one but it took a deer head on like a champ and it cost the least to repair of all of the cars I’ve owned over the past 30 years now wow I’m getting old now great video as usual Joe I like what they’ve done with the interior as well they normally do a good job on new models and refreshes as well Have a Merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎄🎅🧑🎄
I HAVE A 2023 OUTBACK WILDWENESS IN BLACK. THIS IS MY 6 SUBARU I stopped looking at the cars because the design got to frumpy. But when the Wilderness came out I went out and got one! Definatly a head turner! Your review of the car was spot on. I went from the original BRAT to this night and day!
Investing in a pickup truck like Ford F-650 can be an exciting but intricate financial decision. The value of these cars can appreciate over time, making them potential assets. However, maintenance costs and depreciation should be considered.
We bought a '24 Outback Wilderness in September and absolutely love it. Actually cross shopped it with a Bronco. Clearly the Bronco is the better true off-roader, but since i have an '05 TJ for that, we wanted the best balance for road trips and back road exploring. Turned out to be possibly the best overall vehicle I've ever owned. Just does everything it's supposed to do extremely well. I was nervous about the CVT. I'm 41 and every vehicle I've owned before this was a manual. Truthfully its a great transmission. Does have that traditional CVT sensation when driving normally, but then acts like a typical auto when you get a bit heavy with the throttle. And the 8 ratios with the paddle shifters are legit in how they hold a gear/ratio until you pull paddle to shift.
This comment makes me more confident in wanting to get an Outback wilderness this year. I’ve driven all manual cars up to this one as well with the exception of a 4Runner for a bit, but the gas mileage convinced me to trade it, this is when gas was nearly $5 a gallon for record. I’ve done a lot of research and they seem like great vehicles, like you, the CVT is my only worry, and I like that Subaru included a transmission cooler with it, so that should cut down on any heat issues and overall extend the transmissions life. And it’s funny you mention the bronco, I had a 23 Black Diamond trim on order but cancelled it due to the 4Runner’s horrible gas mileage and the bronco being just as bad
@SLOK20C2 you won't regret it. I also wanted something that would accommodate our 3 dogs, so a completely flat floor was important. Interestingly, the load floor is 3" longer than the Bronco. The Bronco offers more sq.ft due to its height, but the Outback has more floor space. And yes, both price and fuel cost made it impossible to choose the Bronco considering I didn't need this vehicle to go deep into the woods. I'm in Nova Scotia. I built a Big Bend Bronco with 4cyl, manual, only locking diff with 4.27 ratio, steel bumper and uplifter switches added as options, and it was $59,000 PLUS dealer fees here in Canada......soft top only and all. The Outback Wilderness with the hitch and a few other accessories I wanted was $48,000 WITH all dealer fees in. The Outback is a much better on-road daily, has substantially more amenities and is much more powerful than I would have imagined. Way more than enough power for the type of vehicle. Is much quicker than numbers suggest, which I assume is partly due to the lower gearing the Wilderness has. On top of all that, when you consider the Bronco burns about 35% more fuel it became a no-brainer for us. And on the fireroads and rough surfaces I've had it on, it has been amazing. Zero rattles and remarkably solid.
I feel like bitter Yoda. You don't know the dark side of cvt. But you will. You... will... Ask a tech about how serviceable the cvt is, which parts go bad first, etc. You'll love the answer. I had one asplode with 115k miles. The answer I got from my dealer: the cvt is a sealed unit, one unit, one price. No parts that are serviced. It's a full swap guaranteed and expected to be somewhat disposable as far as parts go. And only a shade over $3500 before labor. That said, I still ended up buying another Subaru. I just know to sell it at 100k this time.
@MLKusername I have heard the same thing to be honest. But truthfully, it's a vehicle and there's guaranteed to be major expenses at some point. We did buy the 160,000 KM power train warranty, and I will be keen on any preventative maintenance I can possibly do to help it last. As far as cost versus the fact that it's a CVT....I don't think it matters. I have a '05 Jeep TJ with the infamous 6-speed manual NSG370 with low mileage for the year at 220,000 KM (135 miles) I was quoted $7,500CDN to rebuild it. That's for the fork kit ($1,200), 4 synchro rings ($400 each), plus all associated parts such as bearings, seals, etc etc and labour. It's an old school manual and it's going to he pushing $8,000 quite possibly if I want it rebuilt properly vs taking a chance on a used unit. So as for cost, it's comparable. Just a matter of how long it lasts.
Does the screen have the option to adjust the brightness and the option to turn off the screen? I’d hate to drive in a very dark area but have a bright ass screen illuminating the vehicle.
Love that you mentioned Rat Terriers! My Rattie presently takes up the entire back seat of my '22 Maverick. I've sat back there twice since bringing it home.
I just purchased a 2024 Outback Onyx Edition XT and seriously love it. Not as quirky as the wilderness, but it's a super clean wagon and it's grown on me a lot.
I love Subaru, I owned a Subaru Legacy 1989 model it had a 2.5 liter engine with AWD, that car was amazing, the handling was awesome, I wish I bought a Subaru before I bought the Mitsubishi outlander.
They already had a hybrid Crosstrek. For the price, it didn’t justify what the gains were over a standard 2.0 engine. I still see them every now and then but I don’t think Subaru sold too many of them in the US
THAT wilderness is a beauty Joe. I love everything about it including the big screen. Joe I agree with you about the rear wiper and replace the Thomas Edison turn signal bulb with an LED as I did on my ForesterXT 💪
Subscribed......for these reasons- Multiple explanations for where to store Twinkies. Keeping tacos in the center console, along with a pic of an old girlfriend. Keeping pretzels and Little Debbie cookies in the seat pockets. Kids puking on the upholstery, and a recommendation on how to clean it up. Being able to put 25- 26 Rat Terriers in the back. Pointing things out in detail even if you don't like something. Looking forward to more videos from you!
One of the best seats EVER. If u have back problems this is the car for u no one speaks about the seats I don't know why (for example my wife just got the new nissan x-trail, AWFUL seats. The a/c on the subaru is also so good if u live in hot areas. Love the subaru such a good under-rated car (just wish they'd offer a manual transmission lol)
I absolutely love it. Your reaction while accelerating was the best. I’m pretty sure you can get a wireless charge pad added to the car as a dealer add item.
I just wish car dealerships would wake up and stop jaking up the $$$$. Definitely, Ratti is the best car RUclipsr !! Merry Christmas 🎄🎅 To you and your Wife Ratti !😊😊. Brad.
In my opinion, the Outback hasn’t been a “lifted wagon” since it’s 3rd generation (2005-2009). And even then, it was starting to look more like an suv/crossover. At that time, true lifted wagons included the Volvo XC70 and Audi AllRoad, with the Volvo V60 and V90 Cross Country and the Audi A4 Allroad being more modern versions. Especially when looking at the current generation, the Outback looks like a slightly squished SUV. Maybe I’m being picky, but it just doesn’t resemble a real wagon, lifted or not, at all.
I bought a 2022 Onyx Outback. She’s very tough and runs like a dream. I like the Wilderness Outbacks, same engine though the transmission seems to be adjusted for lower end torque needs. Definitely liked the little bit of lift in the Wilderness.
I'd really like to buy an outback wagon. I like all the creature comforts of the touring XT, like the cooled seats, but I could see myself enjoying the wilderness model even though I don't really need it. While I am in New England, I think the wilderness model is overkill for my regular driving. I wish the touring XT, came with like a blackout package or a night package with all black trim and black rims. I think that would look awesome.
Joe, I don't like dragging on the screen either it does create grease fingerprints everywhere. I've never had a roasted Twinkie. Maybe we could get together and have a roasted Twinkie party.
I like what I saw on the Subaru outback wilderness. What I really would like to see , and being from old school , when I go through Tim Hortons , I place my coffee and my friend place their coffee in the council space. Now when I park and not moving , I’ll have my donut and coffee, I need a ledge , a flat surface in front of me to place my coffee. It’s a must for me .
Great review... my 2023 had eye-sight malfunction the majority of 14k miles. Documented the daily issues. Subaru is buying it back. Will probably buy a 2024.
I’ve got a Black ‘23 Outback Wilderness and love it!!! Some of the other options I have are the wireless battery charger and sunroof. Being out here in Colorado all Subaru’s are popular.
It's on my list ...in 1976 I had narrowed my choices to the Subaru AWD wagon and the Honda Civic CVCC 5-speed and since I lived in SoCal the Honda won out ... Subaru has come a long way since that 1976 AWD wagon ...
My wife and I enjoy our 2022 Subaru Outback Touring. I cannot wait until Subaru releases the Brat or Baja pickup. The market is on fire for mini/mid-size pickups.
Wilderness Edition is very nice, but a CVT in a car with that kind of power is a deal-breaking zonk for me. Doesn’t help that they’re asking Grand Cherokee money for it, either.
@@JoeBuck-uc3bl I’m OK with them in the non-turbo Subarus, but the turbo models should have a torque converter. CVTs tend to have more reliability problems when connected to engines that have more power and torque
I'm considering buying this car, the Outback Wilderness. Never owned a Subi before. Can anyone offer any info on common mechanical issues, reliability and ride feel with the turbo charged boxer 2.5L engine? I'm a Toyota guy and love the predictable reliability of the 3.5L 6cyl automatic. It's a 2009 Sienna w/245k, still runs like a champ. I've owned it for 11 yrs and have not had one mechanical issue, not one. Same motor, tranny, alternator, starter and timing chain. I know Subaru and Toyota have merged and I hope the Subaru is just as reliable. However I'm not 100% confident in the performance and reliability of the CVT and Boxer engine that's offered. If anyone has experience with this powertrain and vehicle post a comment. Thanks.
They don’t blow head gaskets anymore they do only come in an automatic but there is boost mode on the forester and outback, if you want a big screen get the outback but if you like the physical buttons get the forester the car should last up to 270,000 miles with standard maintenance and the green and blue paint scratches very easily so get a paint corrector and use it after every wash for the car
The line between a raised up station wagon and a crossover is very blur. I got no problem if people call the outback a crossover cuz it really looks like one
GREAT PRESENTATION 👍 I REALLY LIKE THIS OUTBACK.. I USUALLY GO FOR WHITE CARS.. BUT I LOVE THE COLOR OF IT.. LOVE THE WHEELS. VERY SHARP VEHICLE 👌 👍 ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE DOWN ON CVT TRANSMISSIONS... BUT I DIDN'T SEE ANY PROBLEM IN YOUR DEMONSTRATION... AMAZINGLY QUICK FOR AN SUV.. THE ONLY THING, I WISH IT HAD BIGGER FOG LIGHTS... LIGHTS ON A VEHICLE ARE IMPORTANT TO ME ... WHY?? BECAUSE IT'S JUST AS IMPORTANT TO BE SEEN AS IT IS TO SEE!
Love my older outback (still looks new) except: hard for me to open back hood and steering wheel doesn't turn without effort. Hoping Subaru has fixed those issues.
I got a 23 pilot Joe my question is, did you whack your knee getting that going for a test drive tomorrow probably gonna go touring with the brown interior
Ya know Joe, I own 2 Subarus now; 1 is an Outback with that dreadful screen. They are due for trade-in but I refuse to buy a replacement Subaru with that screen. If they just put the climate buttons back, it might sway me. The engineers force the driver to take their eyes from the road to adjust climate. You can change the temp with voice control but no other climate controls that I can see. Also, when your first start the car it’s very slow and frustrating to reset climate for that mornings temp/weather. It’s such a silly thing but there’s a reason other mfgs are putting buttons back; they listen, Subaru doesn’t.
I have a ‘24 Crosstrek and was worried about the screen because of all the negative comments surrounding it. It’s actually very responsive and there are buttons to still raise and lower temps. I also have a ‘20 Forester with the one smaller screen and to me it’s simply the same.
Yep - it sure does with the 2.4T engine. I have ridden in two Outbacks where the driver was whizzing, p*ssing & moaning about about how the car drove, can't get over 16mpg, and so on. I watched them drive for five minutes, and immediately saw the problem - they drove like jerks. STOMP on the gas, STAB the brakes, STOMP on the gas, cut people off, STAB the brakes, etc. If you're that type of driver, go get some Mazda with a six speed auto tranny or whatever. My '22 OB XT with the CVT does just fine - the trick is having a light foot, and let the transmission do it's thing. Result: My MPG easily runs right with the EPA numbers, and if you think I'm holding up traffic, driving like an old man, you are dead wrong. I move with or ahead of traffic on a regular basis.
Hi Joe im really looking at getting the outback xt limited for the better gas mileage im not going off roading but do drive in Snow sometimes up in Canada.. is there a reason i should get a wilderness vs xt limited ? thanks
I think it'll come down to this: how much do you get into the "outback" (fire roads, parks, etc.)? The OB Limited XT is more than capable of plowing through snow-covered roads, but if you change your mind and decide to start "soft roading", you may want to look at the Wilderness.
I want one of these, but they need to make a cross bar roof rack like the original Outback where you can deploy it and put it away for my Kayak. Furthermore, I'd rather a smaller engine and better gas mileage too, so I'll stick to the regular version.

Wow that thing has the same boxter engine as the Ascent. That car is super fast and a sleeper car then
I have a 2022 year model... and I bought this not for off-road, but for winter driving. This is my 3rd Subi and love my wagon!
I just got my first!! ‘24 OBW
Why did you have to buy 3?
@@davidtavares4509 How do you like it? Is there any hesitation in the turbo charge motor and CVT? Take it off road yet?

I have a '05 Jeep TJ with the infamous 6-speed manual NSG370 with low mileage for the year at 220,000 KM (135 miles)
I was quoted $7,500CDN to rebuild it.
Just a matter of how long it lasts.
when joe uploads two videos one after the other, you know its a good day
Very detailed review of this Subrau model. Enjoyed the video Raiti.😀
2024 is the best year for the model, heated steering wheel, HK audio.
TO THE DOOR PANEL! Love your enthusiasm and your reviews sir.
Does the screen have the option to adjust the brightness and the option to turn off the screen? I’d hate to drive in a very dark area but have a bright ass screen illuminating the vehicle.
Hey ! Another one !! 👍
Wow, Subaru loves that black cladding.
I watched video twice…..didn’t see you drive over Steven with the camera. 🤣🤣
Love that you mentioned Rat Terriers! My Rattie presently takes up the entire back seat of my '22 Maverick. I've sat back there twice since bringing it home.
Now, this engine in a Crosstrek with an 8-speed NON-cvt transmission, and I'm sold.
Bingo!
Subaru should add hybrid options to Crosstrek, Forester and Outback.
If they did I'd buy one.
Hybrid is coming for the Crosstrek - it will be using Toyota hybrid technology, and that should be a pretty decent drivetrain.
@@eskieman3948good to hear..I will buy Forester or outback if they add hybrid.
They already had a hybrid Crosstrek. For the price, it didn’t justify what the gains were over a standard 2.0 engine. I still see them every now and then but I don’t think Subaru sold too many of them in the US
Perfect for this snowy season.
THAT wilderness is a beauty Joe. I love everything about it including the big screen. Joe I agree with you about the rear wiper and replace the Thomas Edison turn signal bulb with an LED as I did on my ForesterXT 💪
You have great taste Rich!
thanks Pal@@RaitisRides
Subscribed......for these reasons- Multiple explanations for where to store Twinkies. Keeping tacos in the center console, along with a pic of an old girlfriend. Keeping pretzels and Little Debbie cookies in the seat pockets. Kids puking on the upholstery, and a recommendation on how to clean it up. Being able to put 25- 26 Rat Terriers in the back. Pointing things out in detail even if you don't like something. Looking forward to more videos from you!
25 rat terriers Joe don't give an Asian restaurant owner Ideas .. IM Joking great review as always
Brad.
Yes! Yes! It’s a turbo baby! Those things RIP!!!
Depends on the observer. Some people even see the Volvo V60 Cross Country as an SUV. Wagon lovers know better.
Great review as always and entertaining as well. I am planning on buying this model.
The car is very nice looking, but the cost is way too much
Below $35k this would be a hot sell.
I bought a 2022 Onyx Outback. She’s very tough and runs like a dream. I like the Wilderness Outbacks, same engine though the transmission seems to be adjusted for lower end torque needs. Definitely liked the little bit of lift in the Wilderness.
Wireless charging is an option, and another great feature of the rear seats is that they recline.
A bit quirky in a good way. Jeep Compass not even competitive to me. Steven's videography so good without being intrusive.
Where can I get a “To the door panels” tshirt?!
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍
Joe, I don't like dragging on the screen either it does create grease fingerprints everywhere. I've never had a roasted Twinkie. Maybe we could get together and have a roasted Twinkie party.
I have a 2024 Subaru Legacy and it handles amazing on dirt roads in my rural area, so this must be a dream.
Great review! Can’t wait for mine to be delivered and start enjoying this beauty car.
The only thing lacking is the transmission. Wish they consider a good old TQ gearbox.
I’ve got a Black ‘23 Outback Wilderness and love it!!! Some of the other options I have are the wireless battery charger and sunroof. Being out here in Colorado all Subaru’s are popular.
I love those wheels they look really JDM ish!
It's on my list ...in 1976 I had narrowed my choices to the Subaru AWD wagon and the Honda Civic CVCC 5-speed and since I lived in SoCal the Honda won out ... Subaru has come a long way since that 1976 AWD wagon ...
Thanks for the history lesson to on the swiveling lights💪🏽👍🏾
Love all the Wilderness Editions!
Have personally had great luck with crosstrek in the past. Test drove a wilderness outback model today and it flat out gets up and moves!
I wish Subaru would incorporate a trailer hitch for a bike rack. Being that the Outback is an outdoorsy vehicle.
Buy one, foo.
Would you not mind CVT in a Forester?
I'm definitely buying one now!!! Great review!!! thanks!!!
I got a 23 outback wilderness... Awesome vehicle
My 2024 has a wireless charger. Not sure if that is a dealer option but definitely available.
Thank you Joe, I love your review, and I love the car. Happy Holidays ❤🎉
GREAT PRESENTATION 👍
I REALLY LIKE THIS OUTBACK..
I USUALLY GO FOR WHITE CARS.. BUT I LOVE THE COLOR OF IT..
LOVE THE WHEELS.
VERY SHARP VEHICLE 👌 👍
ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE DOWN ON CVT TRANSMISSIONS... BUT I DIDN'T SEE ANY PROBLEM IN YOUR DEMONSTRATION...
AMAZINGLY QUICK FOR AN SUV..
THE ONLY THING, I WISH IT HAD BIGGER FOG LIGHTS... LIGHTS ON A VEHICLE ARE IMPORTANT TO ME ...
WHY?? BECAUSE IT'S JUST AS IMPORTANT TO BE SEEN AS IT IS TO SEE!
perfect for when SHTF!! perfect doomsday vehicle, as far as small ones go
☮
Amazing review Joe.
Love my older outback (still looks new) except: hard for me to open back hood and steering wheel doesn't turn without effort. Hoping Subaru has fixed those issues.
I’ve seen some good information that Subaru will be releasing a new pickup in 2024 that I would definitely be interested in if true.
I got a 23 pilot Joe my question is, did you whack your knee getting that going for a test drive tomorrow probably gonna go touring with the brown interior
Alright Joe let’s see if this Outback it’s like the like the Outback steak house
It’s time for a blooming onion!
Thank you. Very helpful
You are so very welxcome!
Subaru did an awesome job with this car and putting the FA24 turbo. I love my tuned 22 Wrx.
That is one of the best parts about it!
People make a big deal about the CVT but it actually does a good job of keeping you in power.
Hi Joe im really looking at getting the outback xt limited for the better gas mileage im not going off roading
but do drive in Snow sometimes up in Canada.. is there a reason i should get a wilderness vs xt limited ?
thanks
I think it'll come down to this: how much do you get into the "outback" (fire roads, parks, etc.)? The OB Limited XT is more than capable of plowing through snow-covered roads, but if you change your mind and decide to start "soft roading", you may want to look at the Wilderness.
Got mine! Absolutely love it! Sold on Subaru😎👍🏾
I think this Subaru wilderness is the best car for your money and what it has and can do on the road and off road
Off road credentials 😂 !?!? Joe you are too funny. I’m currently going for my Teaching Credential right now. Keep up the awesome work.
I heard that the Outback is the next redesign for 2025 from Subaru
Don't for get about the Ascent!
@@RaitisRides Aha! Good point Joe!
Are the skid plates in the way of a oil change?
can you tell us if turning off eye sight warning beeps will deactivate them or will they come back on next time you restart this vehicle?
I want one of these, but they need to make a cross bar roof rack like the original Outback where you can deploy it and put it away for my Kayak. Furthermore, I'd rather a smaller engine and better gas mileage too, so I'll stick to the regular version.
I have mine outback limited ! But I want a wilderness !! Damn It
Lovely video with a lovely car. Great Job Joe
In Canada why Subaru dont give us Harman Kardon sound in OB Wilderness :-(
We just ordered ours in blue😊 can't wait
How would you compare the driving impression and transmission with WRX GT? Not if Outback also uses SPT.
Go back to the AMC Eagle . That’s the modern Outback and Crosstrek. Love both those vehicles over any SUV.
I totally remember those!
Greatr video! does outback wilderness come with 360 degree cameras?
Yeah, It was worth the price on this vehicle.
