- Season of Discovery is great, and so is the Phase System! People might be complaining, but this is meant for ALL of the playerbase, not the minority. Even if I am also in that minority.

It’s funny you mention darnassus is crickets, on my realm “Lone Wolf US” it’s darnassus is nuts because of the boon buff and easy ashenvale access… and stormwind is lively, while Ironforge is crickets everytime I walk in there lol
Vanilla/Classic WoW isn't about "content," it's not about having a ton of abilities, it's not about wiping 50 times on a prog boss. It's DEFINITELY not about balance.
It's about Azeroth, it's about roleplay mechanics, it's about feeling like you're in a living world with permanence.
Retail has no permanence, everything out now will be completely irrelevant in 3 months. Wotlk has no permanence, when's the last time anyone even ran Naxx or Ulduar?
I'm really hoping they take what they've learned from their experimentation in SoD and create a true forever-WoW using a similar model as OSRS.
It’s amazing how many SoD content creators there are that are out of touch with the playerbase. 1 week in and they’re bored, ofc sod isn’t enough for those that planned to play 80 hours the first week. Most games only have 80 hours of content.
I’ve unsubbed from half a dozen whining creators.
I’m looking forward to future changes. This dev team is amazing. Really feels like og vanilla days

The phases ARE great. I think everyone in our guild has finally hit 25 and we’re likely heading into BFD for the first time next week. I love being able to take our time, get runes and decent gear and work on skills - just exist in the world - and get to the raid without feeling the need to rush.
What would heroic DM (Deadmines and Diremaul) be like for lvl 60s? Or Blackrock Depths as a 30 man raid?
I would love to see more world pvp content. Hoping they learned what worked and didn't work from Ashenvale and are able to adjust and calibrate p2 pvp event. Other in game events would be nice to see as well, something akin to holiday events that are specific to SoD.

I have a hard time believing that the majority of players, who are actively playing the game, are not level 25 yet. Most *characters* are probably under 25 but that's different than individual players
I think the stat was of characters made. The 5 characters I got to level 5-10 before quitting are part of that statistic lmao.
Imo, there is a difference btwn extending things for another month, and doing what they are doing in Wotlk atm, extending an already near dead tier by half a year.
Absolutely love the phase system in SOD, I was actually super excited to see phase 3 being 40-50 and not 40-60
You cant be serious if you say they fixed layering in Ashenvale. Its more broken than ever, i would literally take the stalemate, where the game system reset the lietuenants killed and both sides ending up with 1/3 killed and main bosses invurnable even though all lietuenants are dead than getting layered after taking care of Shredder and wiping horde on Runestone
they need to focus on dungeons more...give us new dungeons not redone old dungeons into raids.
Darnassus is effin livid compared to IF.. I'd say even more so than SW atm - world buffs, WSG premades all gathering there.
You see more "in darna enchanting" than in SW atm.
Darnassus is poppin due to the world buff but as far as ironforge goes pretty dead… think you mixer them up

Nobody bring up how shitty questing will be Every phase, the entire server doing the same quests as you all the way to 60
if they are not going to make the content harder then the phases NEED to be shorter in the future. WITH that said I am enjoying the game for sure
if all i did was play games all day id probably get bored in 5 days aswell

yeah they told you phases last 2-3 months, if you turned your journey into a 5 day sweaty lockout rushing mess you did it to yourself, meanwhile i had a 4 hour adventure at lvl 13 with randoms and ended up forming a guild together! couldn't help but bask in the glory of what classic is all about.
No lifer can get to 25 easily in under 18-20 hours yeah.

bots, class imbalance, server stability, server faction imbalance, unnecessary updates/nerfs to classes that already were working and the unnecessary small buffs for the class specs suffering.
It is literally the third relaunch of classic with new abilities
Just don’t focus to hard on pvp it’s trash and like 5 percent of the game. This games all about pve.

phase system is alright... but u are 100% delusional if you think the time frame for there releases is ok. middle of summer/beginning of fall to hit 60, then at least november till new 60 content. yea right what a joke
