    Thank you for explaining all the different finishes of polishes. Helps tremendously. Would you say the "glowy" types of polishes are shimmers? A lot of makers are showcasing some very pretty ones. One that still stands out to me is PFD "Goblins & Ghoulies".

      Yes, definitely a shimmer! A lot of shimmers are in a colored jelly base so you can really see the shimmer and it does look like its glowing! I love shimmers because they apply really nicely and are sparkly but not a pain to remove like glitters.

    I love white pearl nail polish. I top that with a flakkie or a mixed glitter. Love them.

    Great video, thanks Teri!! 🙌👏💅 The only finishes I'm sometimes having trouble telling apart are metallics, pearlies, and shimmers. Sometimes it's obvious which of those one polish is but other times it's so hard to tell.

      Yes, they all start to look similar! It’s very challenging. Thank you for watching! 😘

      Agreed! I believe I wore it over a neutral tan color in the photos. The final look is beautiful!

    Is the difference between metallic and chrome the size of the pigment? I get those confused
    Thanks for such an informative video!!

    Okay, so linear holo shows up as rainbow sparkle whereas scattered is more just glittery? I've never figured out the difference. Thanks!

      @prettypurplepolishes 11 месяцев назад +1

      A linear holographic has that rainbow wave / line to it but scattered holographics are more of a galaxy effect with individual holo particles!

    • @TeriWellsNails
      @TeriWellsNails  11 месяцев назад +1

      @prettypurplepolishes9672 had a great explanation. Scattered holos are more like individual holo (rainbow) glitters scattered throughout the base color of the nail polish.

      @@prettypurplepolishes Thank you. This is the first time I really understand the difference! And I've been doing my nails for years. 😊
