I have not been able to remove them. This is why i give up on using glue nails because they are harder to remove then the gel I can hust file off 😢

Well sometimes it can be the nail glue. I've been using press ons before they were popular. It definitely can be the glue. Some glue does not withstand hot water that good. Regardless of application. But for the most part she's right it's the application. Most nail glue will work.

You are absolutely correct. Prep natural nail, prep the press on by scoring lightly. I prime both the press on and natural nail. I use Fast bond from Sally’s. I’m HR and type all day. Even my Walgreens Kiss nails last for 3 plus weeks. I usually soak them off b/c I want to wear a new style not b/c they are missing a digit LOL :). Poly gel and other hard gels require the press on to be clear or sheer in order to cure. I haven’t found one to cure under colored tips. Love my press on’s even before Covid.

I love glamnetics nails and glue it’s amazing also kiss is also a great nail brand but I like glamnectic

I use an even better glue. I got all my friends on it. My nails last 3 weeks. Once in a while 1 will fall off, but that's usually within 24 hours, once I put it back on, I am good for weeks. Cala super nail glue. Off Amazon, and its cheap! I personally think it's way better then that one.

I only take buff my mom's nails and they last, but when I do the same thing on my mine, they don't

IBD 5 second nail glue will always be the best no matter how you prep.

This is true! My sister gets me a really cheap brand of nail glue and as long as I prep my Nails they will stay on for a week or two without lifting and I like my nails XXL.

I couldn't agree more. I hate the videos on here where they cut off the proximal nail fold. You're not supposed to do that.

Nooo I challenge that sentiment… press ons are KNOWN for popping off… you can prep all you want… they will be coming off and you’ll get LUCKY to get two days of wear

Also I think the glue def still matters. I do super thorough prep, & they’ll still pop off if the glue isn’t good. & my prep is excellent, if I used gel w the same prep they’d stay on 3+ weeks

Curing on with gel is okay if the nails are translucent. You wanna cure the absolute heck out of them like, 3 mins total to be safe bc if they’re not fully cured, you can develop an allergy. I have a big fear of that, & then not being able to have gel nails. Also I’ve seen people using an acrylic bead as glue which seems like the ultimate, if you know how to use acrylic.
