@@ANDIWASLIKEYES you’re welcome. I have tried the nailzkatkat rubber base. I honestly don’t see too much of a difference. From what I understand builder gels are harder and less flexible than rubber bases. Rubber base is more flexible for people with bendy more flexible nails. The nail thoughts base I use is more similar to a rubber base.
This was such a great video. My nails started peeling at the tips as i got older and my nails cant grow very long as a result. I have a question- after the third go around with the BG do you cure it again?
@@carolgerstmann4852 I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Yes! I applied a base layer on all my nails. Cured in the lamp. Applied a slip layer, then applied a thicker layer of the BG and then cured in the lamp. From there you can add a top coat and cure if you like the color of the BG or add gel polish and cure. I hope that makes sense.
@@carolgerstmann4852 Yes! I’ve done it before to add extra protection to my nails especially when they were very long. You just can’t use acetone to remove the polish. Use a non-acetone remover
Great tutorial, thank you!
@@BrittMFH I’m glad it was helpful!
thank you for this video, it’s super helpful. I’ve been debating between builder or rubber base. Have you used rubber base before?
