The only way this song is tolerable is to hear Sandi Patty sing it. The updated 2nd verse that was written for this arrangement really saves the song as far as I'm concerned. LOVED Sandi Patty for more than 30 years and she still amazes me. Finally got to see her in concert a few weeks ago on her farewell tour and she is as great now as she was 30 years ago.
