Not sure where all the hate is coming from. This song is very challenging, musically-speaking. It takes a very strong singer to do this song right and not butcher it. Martina McBride has a huge powerhouse of a voice, she has been singing since she was a child. Natural talent. If any contemporary female country singer today can even vaguely come close to doing this song like Tammy did, she can. Of course Tammy will always be the best. But she cant sing anymore. Martina is singing for her. This is absolutely lovely.

I wasn't trying to be rude, at all, i was in the middle of giving two very overactive cats their meds and so i made it short. You were not the only one who thought that it was George Jones.
