  • Gopro vid of me making a pass at lebanon valley dragstrip. Trying out the new 2 step, and had it set to 3700 rpm this pass. Car hooked great and ended up getting a 1.85 60 ft. this pass. Gotta get a bit more practice and find the sweet spot with it! For some reason, my mph has been all over the place. Need to get that sorted out as well.

    My TGO name is whitedevilTA, but my build thread was titled "project PITA." And thanks man! Don't know why the mph was low this run...I had one before this where it went 11.56 at 124.5 mph. I'm working on some intake air temp issues since the intercooler is not very efficient.

    You bogged pretty hard when you dumped the clutch like that, even with the 2 step. Might wanna change up your launch technique.

      First time I ever used the 2 step at the track so it was new to me. It was still a much better run than my previous time without it. Biggest problem I was having was that the clutch doesn't really have any slip in it. It grabs hard, so to try to slip it off the 2 step is almost impossible. Going to practice a bit more next season, but honestly, drag racing isn't really my thing. I'm more into just street driving/roll racing.

      @transamman305  8 лет назад +1

      A lot lol. Your best bet is to go on a forum like thirdgen.org and check out the swap how-to's. Lots of great info in there on what you'll need.

    gauges look not so good in daylight.
    at night looks good.
    Original is better if u can change color

      Whether you like the look or not, there is no way I'd ever trust a motor with a lot of time and money into it with a stock gauge cluster. They are horribly inaccurate.
