Hooooo baby!! Yeah cams are definitely next for me. I've had my 1995 since Thanksgiving and wanted to wait a year before doing any mods, but I threw on some IROCs and now I'm ready to start my build for real.
NOW THAT IS HOW YOUR SUPPOSE TO SHIFT THOSE GEARS!! Man There are allot off ppl on here that granny shift and miss gears, but it looks like you have experience under the belt, kudos man. It takes allot of practice to learn the appropriate way to power shift. Hella Mean car too!
Marz Barz Takes a smooth gearbox to shift like that and not miss gears. I stick gears sometimes and on my test drive the guy was like "ooooohhhh never did that before........" I still rev match 6th through 1st gear when the terrain allows and if I'm in 6th gear I'm either asleep at 45mph, or trying not to die. I'm trying to find an answer on if I can run Amsoil 75w30 Severe Gear Full Synthetic gearbox oil.
Glenn Docktor most call no lift shifting powershifting (shifting while foot to the floor under power). But yes, I'm definitely not clutch less shifting. I just give it a quick stab at the clutch

Nice ride and setup. I have a 1997 Z28 as well. Stock shortblock with AI 200s and 228 cam, 6 speed. This setup is a lot of fun on the street.
